    Extremely Disappointed With Southside Nissan Vancouver & Nissan Canada…read more I went to Southside Nissan in Vancouver to repair my AC. They "fixed" it, but the AC broke again shortly after. I went back more than four times for the same issue. Even though they didn't charge me for the last two visits, I still spent a lot of time, fuel, and effort, and no one compensated me for that. A proper repair should not require this many visits. I trusted the dealership because I believed Nissan dealerships have trained professional technicians who do proper work. Unfortunately, that was not the case. After moving to Regina, SK, my AC stopped working again. Regina Nissan inspected the system and informed me that Southside Nissan used silicone to cover the AC leak, which should never be done in a professional AC repair. They fixed the issue properly, and the AC started working again. Southside Nissan initially told me they would refund what Regina Nissan charged, and I agreed. But after that, they completely stopped replying to my emails. I also contacted Nissan Canada Customer Service, and the experience was extremely disappointing: Some representatives cut the call. Some told me Nissan Canada is not responsible for dealership repairs. They kept telling me to deal directly with the dealership, even though I went to a Nissan dealership because I expected professional service under the Nissan brand. Later, while on vacation in Manitoba, my AC failed again during a long weekend. I had to go to a local shop (a NAPA-authorized technician) and pay over $2,000 to finally get a proper repair done. One more concern: At one visit, Southside Nissan told me I needed to replace my brakes, but on another visit they told me the brakes were good. This inconsistency makes it very hard to trust their repair recommendations. Be careful when they recommend repairs -- always get a second opinion. After many calls, Nissan Canada said Southside Nissan would offer only a $500 credit, meaning I would have to return to the same dealership whose work caused all these problems. I refused -- I want a refund for the money I spent on their faulty work, not credit. The Nissan Canada supervisor also said they are not responsible for dealership mistakes, even though they acknowledged silicone was used, which clearly proves the repair was not done professionally. I have been a loyal Nissan and Infiniti customer for many years, but after this experience, I am done with Nissan. If you are considering buying a Nissan or getting service from their dealerships, please be careful. My experience with Southside Nissan Vancouver and Nissan Canada has been extremely frustrating, costly, and disappointing.

Knocks include a still obnoxiously loud cabin and lack of torque when down low on the rev range . Even though the GR branding is somewhat appealing Subaru does have an edge when it comes to interior design hence I'm leaning towards Team Subie :D

    Just picked up my car from the dealership after Annual Service & fixing issues with the centre…read moreconsole; service from calling in to meeting with the service advisor to having reminder 1 day before the appointment, and dropping off and picking up. All through the whole process every detail was done with utmost professionalism!! My Service Advisor Andrea was particularly efficient and friendly, she patiently listened to any issues I brought up regarding the centre console and made sure that it was well looked into; she also kept me informed throughout the process, the unit was replaced under warranty with no other questions asked. The car was washed and vacuumed when I picked it up and everything is working properly so far!! Thanks again to Andrea for your hard work!! Keep up the good work and this will be my designated service shop!

    here for my scheduled oil change and i tell you, there are measures for hygiene here…read more the waiting lounge is a cesspool of germs and possible covid infection. some people sneezing and coughing openly , no masks or cover, just polluting the tables, sofa, and chairs, ...no one wiping down anything. i see a cleaner wiping down the coffee machines with the same cloth he is using to wipe down the counters and cupboards...wtf!!!! i witnessed a person sneeze so loud openly and contaminating a set of table and chairs, he left after Nd the 5 mins later, another person used the exact same set. this is how the virus spreads i tell you!! given the current crisis we are facing, Auto West BmW is not practicing its civic duty to maintain a safe and clean workplace for staff and customers. i wanna get out of there but im waiting for my car. i have elderly parents and i dont want to infect them. plus, i dont want people in general to get sick and suffer. the country is in a crisis right now as it is. stay away from this place if you can. they are NOT taking the health crisis seriously and have no regard for public safety. but hey dont worry, ive already heard 2 service people up sell services to a couple of clients causing them to stay longer. update: so had to come back as they were putting another warranty part back in. as usual, procedure shouldve take 30min, but sales again tried to gouge me by upselling wheel alignment and transmission fluid flush....which cost $500 for both. problem is, my car only has 24000kms!!!! they told me its done every 2 yrs, but last time i was there they told a lady she needed to do same thing to her car, and that was it was every 4 yrs. a online check will tell you, these things are done around the 35-50k MILEs mark. not on 24000KM car is still brand new at this point.!! another fine customer service by BMW!! yes, they'll sweet talk you into getting a car but after that...they'll find all and any way to ding you for your hard earned $. in these times of pandemic, the fact that they have the stomach to do this is really appalling and disappointing!! absolutely no regard for customers. just $$$$! Thats Auto West from you!! the manager also responded to me by saying they clean every 1 hr. i was there for 1.5 hrs...the tables and chairs were never wiped down not even once. only the counter...and like ive mentioned...the cloth used to wipe the counters is the same one used to wipe the coffee machines. you guys tell me if thats proper or not!!!
