Great place - my son spent two years at Mini-Miracles and he loved it. His teachers at Toddler 1 and Preschool were awesome, the curriculum was very diverse, tailored in a way to keep the children interested, while still educating them, with a lot of different activities, guest visits, role-playing, decorations, field trips, etc. I was surprised to read that there were parents who felt their children were treated as just a number; I have to say I have never felt that way about my child. On the contrary, all of my son's teachers were very caring and everybody knew his name, even if they were not teaching him. It is also worth mentioning that unlike other child care establishments (Bright Horizons included), Mini-Miracles seems to have a relatively low turnover of staff, which is to their great advantage. What a relief to find such a wonderful place! I cannot speak highly enough of this place. My son is 2 1/2 years old. Each morning he is greeted by name by each teacher he comes into contact with. Each evening I receive a paper detailing his day. At the beginning of each month I receive a newsletter detailing the daily curriculum for that month. My son squeals with joy each morning when we pull into their parking lot. The facility is nice, the teachers seem qualified, the staff is very accessible and communicates well with me. They are willingly potty training my son and they take extra caution with his dairy allergy. The price...wow, let me just say, this is a curriculum based pre-school at a daycare price! We are extremely pleased with the entire experience and even happier that it all comes at a rock bottom price (well rock bottom as child care comes). In conclusion, I am a bit of a nervous Nellie with leaving my son in other people's care. Alert- all you first time parents please read this review!! If you have an infant and are considering Mini Miracles, I would suggest you run away or do your due diligence to make sure you are making the right decision. I was told all these good things about this daycare that I was sold and definitely wanted my child to go there and then the reality hit. This place is DOES NOT care about your kids whatsoever. Your child is just a number and comes with $$ sign and that is the sad part. There are couple things that I would like to draw your attention too and in a way warn you to look for these signs as well. - More than 7 kids in a room, yes! I know its not legal...but when I went to drop my child every morning there were at least 10 kids in the room with 2 teachers. I did not feel dropping my infant there since the other kids were walking/crawling and could easily hurt my infant. - There is a post outside the classroom that says "NO SHOES" but guess what I have seen multiple teachers with their shoes in the class room. NOT COOL!! - The highlight was when the teacher had fever, runny nose and cough and still showed up to work. Needless to say the germs were passed on my little one who instead ended up falling sick. If the teachers are sick and not able to provide for the kids then the best thing is for them to stay at home and rest. Guess that's not a practice at this center. - They FORGOT to feed my child and when I asked why was my child not feed, the response was hilarious...are you ready?? " the teacher was busy and hence she didn't have time to feed the baby" are you for real? why am I paying so much? isn't that what you are suppose to do.....TURN OFF!!! - They said they wear gloves while preparing bottles...that's a lie. I have seen them hold the bottle nipples with their bare hands and that's just disgusting. Oh and the sick teacher did that too.....talk about getting all the kids sick. - The cubbies have all kind of dust gathering around it and no one seems to clean it - They definitely DO NOT have a curriculum for the infants and all they tell you is a lie....my child didn't show any improvement. When I turned in the notice to get my child out...the director did not even ask "why" or "how they can improve" or "what caused me to make this decision" and funnily enough the same evening I saw the teacher telling another parent " oh we have a spot that's opening up in few weeks so you can refer your friend and have them come" - THEY ARE NOT DEALING WITH KIDS! THEY ARE DEALING WITH $$$$ I can't say anything about the preschool or toddler room...however infant room is a disaster and I would never ever send my child there. My child starting going to this daycare when she was around 6 months old (she had been in daycare in Illinois starting at 3 months - and we loved that place). She is currently 13 months old, so I can speak to both the infant 1 room and infant 2 room (which is also a toddler transition room). My child feels very loved by her teachers, and that is the most comforting thing for my husband and I. They play with her and sing and dance with her. As a first time mom, I'm very involved in her daily life and routine, and I always make sure to ask about her day when I pick her up. Her teachers are kind and responsive and have a good handle on all of the kids in the room. I feel the need to respond to a few of the prior reviews. For one, I never feel like a $$ to anyone in this center. This daycare is definitely one of the cheaper options in the area, so if they wanted to only make money off of you, they are doing a bad job at it. They could raise their rates by hundreds more each month and still be in the middle of the boat. At drop-off and pick-up, you might find the infants in the same room, but there are always the appropriate number of teachers in the room to look after the children. I never saw shoes worn in the infant 1 room - and I'm very particular about this (again - first-time mom). Staff and parents take their shoes off or put slippers on. Shoes can be worn in the infant 2 room since most of the kids are walking and it's a toddler transition room as well. Kids get sick at daycare. Workers get sick at daycare. From the kids most likely! It ends up benefiting children to be exposed to these germs - they'll have perfect attendance in kindergarten! I've never experienced anyone "forgetting" to feed my child. In the Infant 1 room, children get fed based on need (not a schedule). In Infant 2, the kids eat all together at set times, which helps them transition to the toddler room (and for life in general). Cubbies for both rooms have always been fine. Temperatures in the room always fine. As far as curriculum goes for Infant 1... that room is designed for INFANTS! What do you want to do with (at most) 9 month olds? They have plenty of toys, and let's face it, everything is entertainment to them. Including the teachers - my child belly laughs by just playing games and interacting with them. Which is the best kind of learning for her at this age. Again, I ask the teachers about my daughter's day on a daily basis, and I love to hear that they did arts & crafts or went for a walk, etc., and I would like to hear that more often. But that's for me. Not necessarily for her. In Infant 2 room, they do a lot more with the kids in terms of curriculum. I exclusively breastfed my daughter for her first year, and I'm VERY particular about her breast milk bottles (anyone who made it a year pumping at work - 2 TIMES A DAY - knows what I'm talking about). I label my bottles at home (before I bring them to daycare) and I've never had a problem with them. If anything, the teachers follow the rules very closely, so sometimes, if my daughter didn't finish all of her bottle, they toss the milk (according to the rules). Which makes me cry but I understand why the teachers did it. When the kids get older, they do hold their own bottles to feed themselves. That's a good thing! I have also gone in to nurse her on occasion, so I see what happens on a random day at a random time. I've never seen any staff acting in any way that would be unclean, including washing their hands or around meal time or bottles. I don't know about the violation of kids sleeping in seats on the ground... but babies fall asleep in lots of places... including cribs, swings, etc. I looked at yelp reviews for daycares too, so there should be more of them so we can all make an educated decision on where to send our babies when they are not with us! read more

I could not agree more with P.G.'s review and I am relieved that someone else saw the issues and also pulled their child out. I am writing this review to help first time parents. I am not bitter or angry. Just want to share my experience. I was pregnant and did not know what I was looking for. I thought that Mini Miracles was suitable. I signed my baby up for infant 1 room and observed for 4 hours during a trial day. I pulled her out of the daycare immediately! Here are the reasons: -Staff kissing babies on face, one had a dried scabbed cold sore on her upper lip. I have a problem with my baby getting herpes. Not ok. -Staff do not always adhere to no shoe policy in infant room. This is a violation. I saw a staff member with shoes on in the infant room! They were covering a break. -Room was very hot, one of the babies had a heat rash. I only know this because staff mentioned it. I was even sweating in there. The staff even said it was hot, had to open the door. -Breastfed bottles not labeled properly. Breastfed bottles should be labeled differently by the daycare to differentiate from formula. Refrigerator dirty. -Blanket in crib with infant (suffocation risk) and infant sleeping in seats on the ground, huge violation!! The infant slept in the seat on the ground and was not moved for 2 hours! Another infant was in the chair as well for an hour. Why do they have cribs? Cribs should be used. Look up policies on mass.gov for group daycares under Department of Early Education & Care (EEC). -Did not see staff washing hands, sink near diaper station broken. -Bottles propped up to feed while infant was in a chair, another EEC violation. Also after I pulled my baby out of the daycare, I called the director and left 2 messages, no response. I finally sent an email and received a response from the facility but not her. This is not professional and I did not feel like my complaint was taken seriously. I am sure being a daycare provider is very hard work and you need patience. IHowever, it's the responsibility of the facility to implement the rules and monitor the staff which I do not feel is happening at this place. When you are caring for infants and children, the standards should be higher. When I looked into daycares, there were not many reviews which made it difficult. I am writing this review to be of some help to others especially first time mothers. If the issues I mentioned do not bother you, then you can enroll your child here. The cost is middle ground, but definitely not cheap for what you get. I did not feel safe leaving my infant there. I placed her in Bright Horizons which is more expensive but very good!! Staff are great, clean, and professional! They actually do activities with the infants and you get daily emails with pictures. If an infant was sick in the classroom, you get an email ASAP regarding the illness and that the infant was sent home, and toys and rooms extra sanitized. This is important as flu season is among us and infants can die from the flu. They take it very seriously. They take the babies outside for walks when the weather is nice. I like all the bells and whistles! The staff are held accountable and set to a higher standard. Its a great company. I recommend any parent to stay and observe before leaving their child at any daycare. You may think a place looks ok but after spending some time, it may not be what you want. Babies cannot tell you what happened during the day. Also educate yourself on the rules and regulations set by EEC, do not just go by someone's review alone. read more

MMCC is filled with talented, caring teachers that make my son feel welcome and loved. I love how caring and attentive his classroom teachers are. I also love how every teacher and staff member says hello to my son when they see him (not just his teachers). I know it makes him feel safe, and lets me know he is and will be well cared for. I love the instant updates through the smartcare app and open communication during the day. Its clear the teachers at MMCC put a lot of effort and thought into their lesson plans, even for the littlest students! Each month they have a new theme that the children learn about and complete activities based on. They use the themes to work on the major developmental milestones for each child. I want to piggy back off of Deborah K. below. My son has been going to Mini Miracles for a few months now. After visiting several daycare centers in the area, we fell in love with Mini Miracles. All the kids seem so happy and cared for that it felt like the right fit for our son. I was on the fence about sending him to daycare or getting a nanny and I am so happy with my decision! I have never felt like the center only cares about my money. In fact, I thought it was incredible that the director, first Nikia and now Amy, knows each child by his/her name! All the staff is very friendly, smile and say hello whenever we are dropping off or picking up our son. I can only "review" the Infant 1 room as my son is still in that room. The teachers, DD & Stephanie, are amazing with him! When he sees them, his face lights up and he is genuinely excited to see them! I can tell that they love him and truly care about him and his wellbeing. I have seen them kiss him and I have no problem with it at all! If I can't be with my son all day, then I hope that whoever is with him is treating him well and showing him love! Babies need love and attention! I'm not sure why someone wouldn't want they're baby to feel loved at all times! The room itself is clean and organized and there is a "dirty toy" bin for toys that need to be washed before another baby can play with it. I have never seen anyone in the Infant 1 room with shoes on unless they are covered with booties. As for the Infant 1 curriculum... they are infants! They eat, sleep & play. But I have definitely seen changes in my son's abilities and I'm fairly certain he had his first giggle with DD at daycare! As he grows, he is learning more and more! I have no doubt that as he gets older the curriculum will prepare him for kindergarten. In reference to the baby who had heat rash... I believe that was my son however the heat rash had NOTHING to do with daycare. He got heat rash from being in a very warm room outside of daycare with lots of people cuddling and holding him. I mentioned it to the daycare providers because I wanted them to keep a bib on him to keep his chest/belly dry and to keep him in a light onesie so he didn't get hot and irritate it. I have noticed the Infant 1 room is warm which is why I send him in a short-sleeve onesie and pants. All in all I would highly recommend this daycare. I actually did recommend it to a friend recently! All I want is for my son to be happy, healthy and safe and I know that the staff at Mini Miracles wants the same for him! read more

My son started at this daycare when he was 12 weeks old. As a first time mom, I was terrified to leave my son for the first time and the staff at Mini- Miracles helped make the transition so much easier. My work scheduled changed so I ended up only needing daycare for about two months. That said, in a relatively short time all the women in the infant room showed my son so much love. I felt like they were all very trustworthy and genuinely cared about my son. They really supported my breastfeeding efforts, sent pictures of my son during the day and worked with me on helping him get on a schedule and take naps. To address some of the other reviews, I never saw any staff with shoes on in the infant room. They have a box of shoe covers at the door and place to leave your shoes when you enter the room. They always made sure to remind me and anyone else coming in about the shoe policy. They are definitely one of the more reasonably priced daycare options in the area and I never felt like they were just about the money. In terms of some of the other "safety" concerns, babies will fall asleep anywhere! They would often use the swing or seat to help get my son to sleep, then move him into the crib. I never had an issue with feeding- if anything they were overly concerned with him eating and probably fed him more than I would at first, until they learned his schedule! All around I think daycare is a good option at a reasonable price. It may not have some of the "bells and whistles" of the larger chains (think: in-house laundry, included linens, daily journal, etc.) but they provide a safe, loving environment for the babies and that's the number one priority. read more

I've been meaning to write a review of mini miracles child care center for a while now. My 3.5 year old son has been enrolled there since he was 13 months old and my youngest son started going there at 8 months old (he is now a year). We couldn't be more thrilled with this facility. My oldest son has progressed through most of the classrooms (now in their preschool) and has had one great experience after the next in each new environment he encounters. Each teacher is kind, caring, nurturing and experienced and has the best interest of my children at heart. The student/teacher ratio is excellent- my children seem to know their teachers well and talk about them at home like they are family. The other teachers in the school know them by name too- it is a true family environment from the moment you step in the door. The facility director, Nikiya Rose sets the tone of this educational, but loving environment and she does a great job fostering a play-based learning environment that really focuses on the individual child. Both of my kids have their fair share of medical issues and they have needed special attention and this is never overlooked. I feel totally confident that they could handle any emergency and I can rest easy going to work everyday knowing they are safe. This is a daycare that doesn't just babysit. They are actually teaching the children in their care everything from life skills to their abcs and I am astounded what they come home with everyday. My three year old came home one day counting to 10 in Spanish and he is learning to write and spell his name, say and read his abcs and not to mention they helped potty train him as well. He has learned important emotional and behavioral concepts, more so than we could strive to teach him on our own. They set cognitive, developmental and behavioral milestones for each child to reach and monitor their progress in the form of progress reports and evaluations. Most importantly, the teachers seem to generally care about my kids and it is evident in their behavior every day. I have had the opportunity to keep my kids at home with a nanny, but there is no way that they would get this expert care and education in a home environment. We are lucky to have found a daycare that we can consider an extension of our family... As a working Mom with a hectic career, I can easily focus on my job knowing that my little ones are in good hands all day long! lt is an added benefit that Mini Miracles is a great stepping stone to kindergarten and I know they will thrive in school because of this experience. My two children (4 and 3) attend Mini Miracles after having been in a home day care for more than two years. I was nervous about the transition from smaller setting to a center, but I should have not been concerned! Both boys love the school and the teachers and other staff are very caring. The children are always warmly greeted by name by any teacher or administrator (they seem to know everyone's name). The classrooms are spacious, bright, and organized. The teachers are kind and nurturing. They treat the children with respect and consideration. The curriculum is organized and interesting, giving children the chance to explore on their own as well as receive direct instruction. The front hallway serves as a large play area so the children have a place for gross motor skills no matter what the weather (and the classrooms are large enough for a lot of movement too). Prior to turning 3, one of my children received EI services at the facility, so I was able to receive feedback about the teachers from an outside source. The EI service providers were very impressed with the Mini Miracles staff and how much they cared about my son. The Mini Miracles staff incorporated strategies and methods recommended by the EI service providers and were true partners in his significant progress. read more

This place is horrible place you cannot call it even a daycare because they do not even care We put our 16 month old kid for only not even a month and he was sick the entire time and we notice The do not change his dipper because they said he is heavy kid, because of that he got a dipper rash And he is still sick using antibiotic; their staffs keep on changing, nobody really responsible Please do not put your kid in mini miracles in Natick, this is danger for you kid specially if she or he cannot talk.
