We sent our 2 year old to this childcare for 6 months, but took him out after numerous problems…read more Problems with basic care: - Not getting fed enough - my son came home very hungry on most days. - Strange punishments - kids getting locked in a small bedroom alone, kids being forced to stay in high chair, kids locked outside on the deck in the cold while the teacher is indoors. - Unsanitary conditions - my son was sick for 4 months straight, much worse than other daycares. From what we saw, this was due to high turnover and unsanitary conditions - Constant unhappiness - every time we came to pick up / drop off, someone would be crying. Logistical problems: - Frequent paid days off. The owner took many days off, without this being reflected in fees, and we had to take care of our son on our own. This was explained as the owner's vacation days. - No established rules or policies. There was no communication with the owner, interaction with other parents, or ways to communicate feedback. There were also many other problems - no education program, no organization, no activities to occupy the kids, but the above is a good rundown of major issues. In the end, we were unable to trust this place or Tanya, and we strongly recommend you don't bring your children here.
