Finding Mexican ingredients for cooking is often limited at bigger chain stores which makes this a blessing. With the holidays coming up, it means it's almost tamale making time. Further, while not having tried their burritos I did notice one being made which was the size comparable to the end of a baseball bat, huge. Can't wait to buy one. Out is easily two meals in size.

So far we've bought carnitas (about $8 a pound, I believe), a chile verde burrito, carnitas burrito (both under $5) and tacos ($1.49) and they've all been above average. The burritos are huge and they add a lot of meat. The carnitas burrito was one of the best I've ever had. For chile verde burritos... I'd still go to Jalisco's, but for all other meats, this place seems better. They also offer other items like tamales, breakfast burritos, tortas, taquitos, and sometimes menudo and pozole. The lady mentioned orders can be called in if you'd rather not wait. Low prices + good quality + good portion sizes = 5 stars for me. It's at least worth a try.

Aside from the wait in the line, the ambiance was lovely, including music, and a well stocked store. I would definitely come back.

This was our second stop of the day, and it completely lived up to its high star rating. The shop is incredibly clean and clearly popular because there was already a line when I arrived, which is always a great sign for freshness. I really appreciated that they pre-package items like the chicharrón into convenient half-pound bags. It made shopping quick and easy. The prices were also very reasonable, coming out to about $5 for a half-pound of chicharrón and around $3 to $4 for the cremá. The ONLY drawback is that they don't accept EBT, which is worth noting for anyone keeping an eye on their budget right now. Otherwise, this place is fantastic. They stock an amazing variety of authentic Mexican items, and the aroma the second you step out of your car instantly reminds you of shopping in Mexico!! Highly recommend checking them out! :)

The service was pretty bad, I ordered the guacamole, chicharon and birria tacos. I spoke English to the woman making the food. SHE was a kinda rude to me, maybe not intentionally, but i can tell she might be irritated by me not speaking Spanish. She didn't give me instruction on where to pay or how long to wait or anything! So, I just waited there for 15 mins as she ignored me. I asked for my chicharon because they forgot to give it to me. SHE gave me a bag of cold hard chicharon that was put on the side of the condiments. Couldn't even give me the warm batch. Once I got my food, it was not flavorful, very greasy, bland, and the birria was very fatty. They gave us 4 napkins so I went to ask for more but this time In Spanish. That's when they started being a bit nicer to me. This place is definitely small with 3 tables and gives hole in the wall vibes which I usually love because the food is always fire.
