The aisles and shelves are very organized and things are grouped in such a manner that it makes items easier to locate. Although they did have Thai Basil in stock, it was old and of poor quality so I did not purchase it. Quite a bit of the produce was not in the best shape. I did however purchase a non-produce item. The staff member at the cash register was very kind, interacted with genuine consideration of the young children whom were with me, answering several of their questions. We got there around noon and there was so much to look at. I was drawn to the Dubai brownie but we had lunch right before walking to the market. At the flower table we stopped at I got three stems for 10.00. They do take cash or you can go to the farmer's market information table and buy tokens for your purchase. The fresh produce looked really good long with the baked items on several tables. There is a table that does handmade pasta that looked really good. Since I watch my carb intake sadly I past that table up they also had mini meatballs made with a mix of pork and beef. There was a variety of cheeses, wines, beer, some tee shirts, a food truck that had really interesting drinks and different flavored lemonade flavors. Something cold and delicious…read more After previously missing out on a chance to try the Hawaiian Shaved Ice stand (they were closed around 8pm even though the sign advertised 9pm... weird), we swung by yesterday aftenoon to quench our heating selves. A thing to note: Hawaiian Shaved Ice is actually a little stand located in the parking lot between the new Angilo's pizza location and Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken. I kind of doubt this will be open during the colder months, but it's been open all summer nearly every day between 3-9pm. All they have is shaved ice. With TONS of flavors (and some fruit toppings) to choose from! Their prices are simple: $2 small. $3 medium. $4 large. All overflowing with iced goodness! Seriously. The small was huge! The Pina Colada flavor wasn't that great, but the orange and lime were good. I'm looking forward to trying more flavors before colder weather hits. Hawaiian Shaved Ice is a great alternative to places with daiy (although I'm sure the flavor syrups aren't really healthy). *bites flavored shaved ice* Ahhhhhhhhh.
