    Chicken Lettuce Wraps

My husband and I come here once every couple of month la and it never disappoints! The service is phenomenal and the food is always on point. The chicken coconut soup is drool worthy. It's a MUST. The lettuce wraps are very good but small - great split option for an app. The sushi is also delish. If you feel like splurging on an adult beverage try the Sparkling Peach Sake!

Checked out Ming's and this restaurant and it was super clean and chill inside. The service here was quick and neat nothing that we ordered was delayed. Our waiter was super nice and on time. He made sure our water never got below a certain point in our glasses and cleared our unwanted plates. This guy was amazing. Our food that we got was amazing as well. I order the lo mein while my boyfriend got Thai curry. We will most definitely come back a second time and bring additional friends with us, so they can taste how great the food was. Highly recommend!

Sweet and Sour beef and Thai fried rice...amazing!!

The food, atmosphere and staff are outstanding. We ate here pre Covid and wasnt sure they were still in business but they were and we are so GLAD! we traveled 4 hours to visit Glenwood and would travel that distance every day to eat at Mings!!! The servings are very generous...we will have a delightful snack of the left overs later..five stars and then some!!!!

My college suitemate's parents chose to treat my family to a good Asian fusion meal here at Ming's. Asian options in Aspen were too pricey. They knew the people at this place, so they ensured we got a five-star experience. I can say that even without this we would still have enjoyed good Asian food here. The sushi rolls were done well. There wasn't too much sweet rice. The entrees are great for sharing with others. We ordered for the table and still had leftovers after the third course. I'm happy with this place and hope that others will enjoy their visits as we enjoyed ours.

This was my second favorite! Crispy rice with spicy salmon

Unfortunately, for us, the restaurant was fully booked until 830 or 9pm. The hostess found a way to squeeze 3 of us in a table for 2 and we couldn't have been happier. Our server was prompt and friendly. She helped us narrow down some dinner choices. Two of us ordered the Thai fried chicken, after recommendation, and the third ordered a soup with shrimp. We split a cashew brownie with banana ice cream at the end. From start to finish, the meal was amazing. Every single piece was packed with flavor. The chicken was crispy, the sauce was spicy but not too spicy. The rice on the side was coconuty, creamy, and dreamy. The document slaw had a nice vinegar-y bite to complement the rest of the plate. My friend said the laksa with shrimp was the best she's ever had. The brownie was warm and crisp on the outside, but gooey in the middle. Despite the restaurant being on the smaller side and heavily crowded, we were able to speak to each other at normal volume. Stop in (repeatedly) if you haven't already!

I went last year (its first year open) and thought it was amazing...but sometimes returning to a restaurant you remember to be good proves disappointing. Upon returning this year - our most anticipated reservation of our annual trip to Aspen - I was completely blown away. The most difficult part about eating at Wayan is choosing among myriad items that all look amazing. We got the following... - the hamachi crudo appetizer...I was a little reluctant to order it because it seemed like the most conventional dish on the menu. So glad our waiter raved about it because it was somehow both delightfully refreshing yet deeply complex in flavor - the spring rolls - the mushrooms inside were a brilliant touch and the sauce...I literally finished it with a spoon - chicken satay - okay another seemingly conventional dish yet somehow more succulent than any chicken I've had with sauce that I also used a spoon to eat the last drop of - short rib fried rice - as good as it sounds. Unctuous yet not greasy. Perfectly plump yet not too rich. Exactly what you hope to get when ordering it - cauliflower - somehow even grilled cauliflower was elevated both texturally and gustatorily (confession - the word gustatory escaped me so when looking it up I discovered a perfect word to describe pretty much the entire meal - Organoleptical means means flavor + aroma + mouthfeel) - corn fritter - the menu needs to be updated to add a warning label for this dish. DO NOT EAT STANDING UP...your knees will buckle, you will swoon. The oozing crispness...the sauce that is somehow both complex in flavor yet doesn't mask the natural deliciousness of the corn itself...I will be dreaming about that first bite - sides of brussel sprouts and mushrooms (brought to us by mistake but once I tasted I refused to send them back...apologies to whatever table had to wait extra for their mushrooms) were both delectable and highly complementary to the rest of the meal - banana sundae dessert - really fun way to cap the meal. Sneakily good...most of the dishes above punch you in the face with deliciousness...the sundae starts nice but gets better with each bite Part of me wants to cancel the rest of our reservations and just return here. Can't wait to come back...either next year or quite possibly tomorrow.

Very vibe-y with a loud DJ…read more Aspen has many restaurants sprinkled around with delicious hits. As a newer restaurant to the city, the first of its kind to serve Indonesian cuisine, I was disappointed that the flavors were muted compared to the vibrant atmosphere. I wish they had more vegetable offerings as there was only brussel sprouts or a salad that barely had lettuce. The pandan custard had way too much passion fruit puree - it was very tart and overpowered the pandan flavor. Pricing is on par for family-style portions. There were long waits between the small plates, large plates, and desserts. The best dish was the cheese chocolate plate which was a surprising delight.

It looks creative in a way that they combine two different cuisines and cultures (Vietnamese and Japanese to say it exact) and yet what they came up with is nothing but a tourist trap place that lacks authenticity. It's on the second floor of a building. The restaurant is clean and spacious with ample tables and chairs. Since we were there well outside of the busy lunch hour, we got the employees' undue attention. And they were quite welcoming and friendly. The food? Meh. Everything we got lacked the true authenticity. -Lunch Nigiri: The four nigiris simply didn't look fresh. Fortunately however, they didn't taste bad. And yet the overall quality was mediocre at best. This combo plate came with a salad and a soup (called Japanese soup). The salad was the worst out of all where it looked and tasted old and stale. And the soup? It wasn't a miso soup. It's a clear broth soup. But my question was, "What's Japanese about it anyway?" -Agedashi tofu: They really need to work on the "presentation" more. This skimpy looking dish simply didn't look good. It surprisingly didn't taste bad but it failed to impress us. Another mediocre dish. -Thai tea with boba: My daughter didn't care for it at all. I took a sip of it. It tasted a bit too bitter where the tea appeared to have been over-brewed. Yikes! The three stars might be a bit too much of an inflated assessment. And yet I appreciated the friendliness of the employees so 1 additional star is the manifestation of my sincere gratitude to them.

I had their mocktail of the moment which was a yuzu Moscow mule. It was delicious and I'd highly recommend. On the food front, Hideout did a grand job. We started with their special loaded kimchi waffle fries. Epic! I love kimchi and everything about this dish was perfect. For entrees, my husband had their Thai Me Up Burger with shoestring fries and was very pleased with it. Cooked as requested and fun flavors. I had their Fried Chicken Sandwich with kimchi pasta salad and while I only ate half due to being filled from waffle fries, it was very tasty. On the whole, I enjoyed the food and drink at The Hideout, but not sure I would return for the atmosphere or recommend for large groups who want to hang out sans distractions. Zero Proof Review: I'm on a quest to check out all the zero proof, mocktail and n/a beverages that Denver and beyond has to offer. The Hideout did not have a very robust selection so I would love to see them expand that, but their seasonal mocktail was one of the best I've had, so kudos for creativity and craft!
