Mmmmmm... Seafood. When I see food, I eat it. That has got to be my favourite food-related pun of all time. Ming Kee, having just opened in Manila, is serving up some real seafood goodness!
The highlight of your Ming Kee experience should be their best-selling dish: Ming Kee's Crab Beehon! Now how do I even begin to explain this dish? It's stir-fried, steamed and braised and definitely marinated in some magic formula! It's also served with rice noodles. I've tried a number of crab recipes and this one's by far something that I would love to DIY at home! However, I could do so much by just guessing what's in it. It's, according to them, a secret what's mixed in the marinade. I think I'll be Plankton (from Spongebob) just trying to uncover what's in it!
There were other good food, too, that we've tried such as Stir-fried Black Pepper Crab, Stir-Fried Cereal Prawns and Sambai Fried Rice. The servings are very generous so it's better if you come in groups. If you haven't tried much of Singaporean food, Ming Kee at Makati Avenue is a good place to start. You won't regret it! read more
