There is to this day a stigma surrounding mental health issues. But we as a society need to talk…read moreabout them - as there is a lot that can be done to help folks out when they need it. Before last year - I never understood why anyone would need to go talk to someone such as a psychiatrist, psychologist, or counselor. But I learned the hard way last summer. My hope is that in writing this review - it will help out others that know that they need to pursue assistance, get help, talk about these issues and get them into the light of day - and get back on the right track! When my Mother passed away last summer - I was pretty stressed out over her passing. I did not do a very good job of dealing with the stress, grief, and anxiety of losing her. My primary care physician wanted me to go talk with a professional to see what they thought I was going through. I went to see two Psychiatrists (for first and second opinions). Dr. Choudhary was the first Dr. I went to visit. She spent 1.5 hours with me and asked me a lot of questions about things. In the end, it was very beneficial. She advised that what I was going through was not abnormal - that such a loss can cause a lot of stress and anxiety. She recommended I continue to see a licensed professional counselor to talk through things. And as a result I've learned to deal with and manage my stress. I really like Dr. Choudhary! I've gone back a few times for appointments to check in with her and discuss how things are going. Highly recommended!

I was then very afraid of Ketamine, because I am afraid of the the feeling of loosing control. She was so insightful, thoughtful, caring and kind that it really helped me to surrender the parts of me that were deeply disconnected and afraid. Through that experience, I was able to move on and feel much better about myself. It has been 2 years since she released me from my last session. Recently, I went through a traumatic surgical complications, that left my body in severe PTSD mode, my fright flight was activated. I came back to Dr Reader for help. She went above and beyond to gently work with me to uncover the parts of me frighten and needed support from the surgery complications. I cried thru the whole session, Dr Reader was attuned to me the whole session and used very small amounts of medicine along with parts work to help me connect to that very traumatized part. I have a few more sessions to go. Dr Reader's gentle, kind, compassionate, and attunement really helped me and I highly recommend her to anyone needing a safe space to heal!!

After the first visit, I felt the relief one feels when you've found someone who knows and understands what you're experiencing. She immediately makes you feel at ease and as you explain your issue, it is very obvious that she's interested and engaged. Dr. Reader's receptionist (Vicki) is very responsive and personable. You can't go wrong here.

I was referred to this office by my local patient care…read more I had an initial interview with Dr.Farber which went fine. He mentioned to me that someone would reach out that day or the following to reschedule for another meeting. I've sent multiple emails and left multiple voicemails which were never returned. Its been almost two weeks with no one reaching out to me. I finally got ahold of Sydney(the office manager) at the office and explained my frustrations on the lack of follow up. The lady on the phone chuckled at my frustrations and kept talking over me mentioning "Well, I'd be happy to schedule you now" in a sarcastic annoyed tone as if my frustration didn't matter to her. I simply wanted to know if it was common for them not to answer, follow up, because I'd rather give my business to someone who wants it and to a business that treats me with respect. And I'd rather not have to bombard them with emails and phone calls just to get serviced! Needless to say, I'll find another clinic. The lack of basic human communication and customer service at this office is very high.

I loved working with Madeline Jurich. She is an excellent counselor…read more However, I find it disappointing that a mental health services office would ghost/totally disappear on a patient, especially at the holidays no less. It is irresponsible. I had appointments lined up in November and December and despite calling, leaving VMs, emailing the front desk- no one has gotten back to me in 6 weeks. At all. I was a regular patient- going weekly and then all of a sudden nothing. Madeline did not show for an appointment and ever since then- I've been ghosted/neglected/ignored by the practice. Or something happened- maybe they've had to close due to Covid- but absolutely zero messages went out to me as a patient. No explanation whatsoever. If there was a way to bypass the front desk and check in with the therapist, in emergencies, that would help. A non-responsive front desk is simply irresponsible for a counseling practice.
