He was the first psychiatrist (I've been to a few) that actually diagnosed me properly and worked so hard to get me to where I am now. Sadly I can't follow Jason to his new practice due to insurance, and trust me I'm so sad and very scared about starting over after having such an amazing doctor working with me for so long. But I'm so happy for him that he has started this new journey in his career, and I know if I really really need him he is just an email away. He performed what is called a "Genesight" test on me five years prior to me leaving his practice. He didn't share the results with me and I trusted him to use those results to help me. Did he? Absolutely NOT! The number one medication it listed as a probability to help me was NEVER PRESCRIBED by him. For five long years, I suffered needlessly. Why wouldn't he try the report's recommendations you ask? Because he was collecting cash from me every month and had he tried something that actually helped and I became stable in (which I did after finding another Dr), he would lose the over $1400/year he pocketed for keeping me unstable. He also prescribed a drug to "help me with weight loss" that not only didn't help with my weight but one of its major side effects is ANXIETY! I already had PLENTY OF THAT! He lives in a million dollar plus home, drives a Maserati and Porsche SUV. After roughly ten visits I had seen enough, we were getting nowhere closer to getting me back to work and the pills were wreaking havoc on my prostate for some odd reason and couldn't go to bathroom anymore. So long story short recently I had what is called a Autistic burnout episode where I just basically shut down from the exhaustion of pretending im normal, like I been trying to tell them all along. Come to find out im on the Autism spectrum and its genetic and it runs in my family! How did they miss this? I feel like its complete malpractice. My daughter had an appointment scheduled for 5-13-2026 at 8:30am. We live an hour and a half away…read more She arrived at the appointment at 8:42am. The front office staff were very rude and non professional to her. They told her she was 20 minutes late the that her appointment was canceled. They made her wait another 30 minutes to fill out information to tell her that she needed to reschedule. In the meantime I get on the phone to call the office and cannot get through. I call my daughter and tell her to put the lady on the phone and my daughter says, hey can my mom speak to you real quick and the lady says NO. I called the office again and spoke to Samantha and I told her how upset my daughter was that she missed her appointment and i asked what was the cancellation policy. She states that the doctors only have an hour time slot with the patients I say okay so its still in her time frame so let her see the doctor. Unfortunately the doctors are booked....WHAT??? So i tell Samantha that for this to be a place where people seek mental help, they are making it harder for people. I told her she needed to be more sensitive to the needs of the patients and that my daughter really needed this appointment. She had the audacity to say well if she's that bad off then maybe she need to go the emergency room. I was so upset. Samantha rescheduled the appointment for Monday 5-18. Tell me why my daughter call me when she leaves the place and tell me they scheduled her for 5-19 and she was crying. I said whats wrong, she said they were so rude to her and was very dismissive. I called back and canceled that appointment and told them they needed a lesson on how to handle patients who come in for help. UGH Do dot go to this place for help. I'm writing this review out of genuine concern, not anger…read more I recently tried to help my grandmother access psychiatric care through iTrust Wellness. She is an older adult currently dealing with serious mental health challenges, including paranoia about her personal information being accessed online. She is also not tech-savvy and is in no condition to navigate online forms or self-referral systems on her own. I called simply to schedule an appointment for her. I was not asking for medical information, diagnoses, or records. I was told--repeatedly--that due to HIPAA, I could not schedule the appointment and that everything had to be done online through a self-referral form. This was extremely distressing, given her condition. What was most concerning is that even after her primary care physician's office called directly, the response was the same: go online, fill out the form. There was no attempt to problem-solve, offer accommodations, or meet her where she is. This left me wondering: how many elderly or vulnerable patients are unable to get care simply because they can't use the internet or are afraid to? Mental health care should be accessible, especially for seniors. Compassion and flexibility matter just as much as policies. Unfortunately, this experience felt rigid and impersonal at a time when care and understanding were desperately needed. I truly hope iTrust Wellness reconsiders how it supports older adults and families trying to help them.

Bhatia finished my sentence with the comment "so you had a drug problem " - well , no I did not and I was very confused and upset as she continued to press that issue. I have been disabled since 2006 and never had anyone make me feel so disrespected and humiliated. Because of that dr. I have not returned to see a dr. Period. I am ashamed to admit I need my medicine and I can't boost my confidence up enough to talk to another dr.
