As a "retired" event planner myself, I must say that music is the soul of an event. Whether it be a night out at a club or something as special and intimate as your wedding day. Mindub (Tim) brought that soul to our wedding night like no other. Initially wanting to clone Tim for our own wedding, so that he could be our photographer AND our DJ, we decided that may be quite difficult and hired him as our DJ. No regrets here! His communication through the planning process was great. My favorite was that as soon as we sat down to go over the big day all he wanted to know was about us and how we met. Instead of just playing what he thought we wanted to hear he was truly interested in making the soundtrack of our lives for our wedding night. From dinner to MC'ing to dancing it was perfection. I do recall myself (never (ever) claiming to be much of a dancer) on the dance floor the entire night and shedding quite a bit of tears as the last song was playing, not wanting the night to be over. Mindub has such class when closing out the night which can always be such an abrupt act as well as a necessary one to get people to move along. :) His tact is much appreciated. I knew right off the bat that Tim was going to be a perfect fit for our wedding day. We met to briefly discuss details and I was so impressed with his passion for music, and how genuine he was about making our day personal and exactly what we wanted! As soon as I started naming songs/bands/genres - he picked right up on our style and offered amazing suggestions along the way. I knew we would be in good hands!! My husband and I feel so grateful that we found Tim during our wedding planning process. We knew we could trust him in every aspect, which was incredibly important to us. I love music, but I'm terrible at selecting songs. Tim had amazing ideas--better than any I could have thought of! He interacted with the guests perfectly, helping them feel relaxed and ready to dance, but not taking over the mic. He gave my fiance and I great ideas on how to make the reception better. Wonderful person and an amazing DJ!!! He was very professional and always got back to me in a timely manner. He really cares about the services that he provides and makes sure that you get exactly what you ask for. He took the time to meet with us before the wedding and answered all of my questions and concerns along the way leading up to the big day. And the music that was played at our wedding was pretty awesome!!! He had all the guests dancing before the dancing was even supposed to kick off. If you need a DJ in Tennessee or Alabama you have to have TIM! Music is very important to me and I emailed with a lot of DJs who just were not giving me what I needed. When I branched out and looked a bit further out of town I struck gold and found Tim because when I sent him my very long list of songs I wanted at my wedding he was pumped and I knew I wasn't going to regret hiring him. He kept the party going all night long, edited obscure song requests so they would fit the moment, perfectly faded songs into the next ones so there was no weird lag. Tim is amazing! He DJd our 4th of July wedding and truly turned our wedding into a party. Not only did he balance the completely different music preferences of my husband and me, but he also did it in a way that everyone complimented our music all night long. We also had the photo booth which was hugely successful and a complete hit with our guests. Tim was not feeling well that night and neither my husband or I knew until after the event when my wedding planner told me. Tim was truly professional and didn't let it effect how he performed.
