I honestly, have no idea how to express how happy my wife and I were and still are with her Studio's services and end products. Joy and her team were outstanding throughout the entire process. She captured our wedding day in a way that allowed us to really experience it from our guest perspective with a little pleasant twist on how we experienced it ourselves. Her way of finding the most beautiful angles and very powerful shots was the reason we met with her in the first place, after an exhausting search (I MEAN EXHAUSTING) search through endless pictures and slideshows and books and slideshows and pictures, thankfully we found Joy Marie. If you want pictures that will actually excite you, make you smile, a few joyful tears and bring back the absolute best memories of the most important day of your life, you've come across your best option. When you call Joy tell her Alan & Melissa Ogletree (Oct. 7th, 06) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED her and her studio (tell her Melissa & I are available if anyone would like to contact us with questions or just to hear this from us live.) We can't possibly say enough good things about her and her team. Start worrying about the thousands of other items you need to check off, you've found your photographer. You will not be disappointed. Good luck and remember to enjoy planning your, oh so special day. Sincerely, Alan Ogletree

I came across Krista's blog last year when I was looking for someone to do my bridal session pics. I tried contacting her but she was on maternity leave at the time:( I saved her info because I thought she would be a good photographer to work with in the future and boy was I right! I contacted her recently to book a family photo session. She got us on the schedule quickly and we had soooo much fun with our session. The photos were amazing and such a quick turnaround for our previews! We will definitely be using her again for all our photography needs. Wife(Shantel)

I was finally able to schedule it and take the class from Taylor herself this past March. Not only did she teach me how to use the equipment I already owned more efficiently, but she opened my eyes to so much more as far as the type and style of photos I like to take. Yes, this was a beginner's class, but now I have more of an overall understanding. I had been doing so many wrong things for so long. She is so down-to-earth and easy to talk to. I loved the way she explained everything in layman's terms in addition to having a great guide book she provided. She even offered help on choosing other equipment and gave me an example of what a photography release should look like. My only regret is that I didn't take the time to learn from her sooner. I hope to take her full mentorship class soon to learn more about editing and business. I would highly recommend taking a class from her as well as booking for photography needs.

She was also very conscious of COVID 19 requirements. We scheduled a time at her studio today. Ms. Rice was very professional and pleasant upon meeting her. She provided me an area to change in and hang my clothes. Before she began she explained some of the things she would be asking of me i.e. head angles, stretching my neck, chin position, etc. Her explanation helped tremendously as she started. Ms. Rice has a natural conversational style as she works, making slight adjustments as she takes photos. By my own admission, I have never thought of myself as very photogenic; Ms. Rice made me look good. At the end of the session she showed me some of the proofs and then emailed all proofs for review. Because of the quality of her work I have a difficult choice, she has provided me so much to choose from. Ms. Rice' prices are very reasonable. The quality of her work is excellent. I wish I could give her more stars she is that good. I am recommending her to all my business partners and associates. Her contact info is available on the Thumbtack app and her website is: maryricephoto.com. Mary Rice Photography is an outstanding business.

I had a ton of fun while shooting, the dressing/hair/make-up was great. Unfortunately, the results were NOT so great. There were awkward shadows in every shot that emphasized facial imperfections (and created a few!) The posing was totally unflattering for my figure, and the package structuring was such that I had to spend a minimum of $200 for ANY print. I spoke with Paige about my disappointment and she basically said, "too bad." And that was that. Double big frowny face. No recommendation.
