This is the second escape room experience for all of us. We were extremely happy with our experience here! Although it's a bit tricky to locate, because their sign was blown away- we saw the name at the bottom of the list just inside the front door. We were greeted by the owner/employee when we arrived. The area is clean and well-kept. This was a very exciting and thrilling experience for us! My wife and I and our two daughters age 14 and 12 thoroughly enjoyed it. We chose the Adirondack kidnapping experience. One step add to another step one to another step... Very exciting! We would recommend this experience for anyone!

For context, our group was 3 moms with our 3 daughters (ages 14/15). There was a good variety of ways to retrieve keys, obtain combinations or other items to solve a piece of the puzzle. We tried the Sherlock's Library experience for a department bonding event and it was kind of…read morelackluster. They really made the cheapest experience possible, and it shows. When you walk into the room, you see a bookshelf decal on the wall and a bunch of chests within the room. The only sort of cool prop they had was one of those globes that opens up. But every single task was to unlock a lock. So you could just search the entire room for hidden keys and chests without actually having to follow any clues (one or two were keys, others were combo locks). You still have to figure out the combos, but just finding codes is kinda lame. The prompt itself wasn't good to start, so I felt like our team didn't have a goal, we just started searching. The storyline was not really there. We solved everything including the master chest. And although humans have a natural sense of satisfaction in finishing something, it wasn't actually that fun. Glad I didn't have to spend my own money on this. I'd be happy to try another escape room, but not at this establishment.

The rooms were laid out well. The system of getting clues is fairly straightforward. The clues and rooms were fun. It felt a bit rehearsed telling you the rules, which are important. I think it would be nice to have more of an engaging experience with the staff. I will continue to support them and bring more people through. Hoping I don't feel like a number next time but like I'm actually in an experience. Other experiences I have done in California the staff is very animated and engaging. You feel like they are part of it. It's a nice touch to feel that connection.

I'll start with some of the things I was less impressed with: 1) I understand the irony of my writing this review and saying this - but their reviews, ESPECIALLY Google reviews, should not be trusted. I was honestly appalled by the explicit solicitation of reviews. There were signs to "review us on Google" on EVERY pole in the building, and the poor employee had to give a speech (that was clearly mandatory) about "my manager really appreciates if you leave 5 star Google reviews blah blah blah" at the end of our experience. It was so uncomfortable and off putting. 2) The decor and entrance, as other reviewers have mentioned, leave a lot to be desired. The escape room itself was a-okay, but the waiting area and "party room" both felt very sparse and dungeony. If you're planning to book any kind of party here, I would go see the space prior to committing. The "party area" is back by the bathrooms and not private. The rest really was fun and wonderful! We had fun picking our team name, the employees were great and helpful and kind, and the room was the perfect blend of difficult and engaging. Overall, I would say go and enjoy. I don't know how it compares to competitors since this was my first escape room in years, but this is a solid option for dates and groups alike.

She gave us 1 sheet of paper, walked us outside to another building that was dirty and smelled like garbage & mold. She put 4 people in a really small room that could not fit 8 like they said. 30- 40 min in the lady comes into the room and said "I dont think you have one of these cards in here. " she hands us a business card and said "you can definitely can get out if you have this card." She closed the door and didnt leave the building because she knew that we would try the number on the card. There was no riddle within a riddle...no extra locks, no glow in the dark arrows. SUCKED
