First off, the front desk lady is so so kind every single time. Even when I call in frustration because my meds haven't been refilled. The environment is quiet & relaxing. The first therapist I spoke to here sucked, she annoyed me more than anything but after getting switched over to someone more in lined with my values, it's been absolutely amazing. started with Mindful Health around November and initially had a good impression. However, over time, my experience has been frustrating and disappointing. After completing the ADHD evaluation, I was made to wait over a month for the actual test. Despite repeated calls and follow-ups, I was constantly told, "Someone will call you," yet no one ever did. I eventually had to escalate the issue via email to the director, who intervened and temporarily improved the communication. While I did go through therapy sessions, I felt my therapist wasn't genuinely invested in understanding my specific concerns. Instead of tailored guidance, I often received premade worksheets or general content that seemed are Copies from other clients. Don't get me wrong, lure w away some helpful things, but overall, it didn't feel personalized. After every session I'd hope the next session will bring some type of gameplay but instead I got worksheets that are in no relation to what I really want addressed. Maybe she had too many clients/appointments every week and didn't have time to as. I cancelled our future sessions. On top of that, both the therapist and the nurse practitioner always gave off a "rushed to get off the phone" vibe, which made the sessions feel transactional rather than supportive. The billing situation was the final straw. Despite having full coverage insurance, I was hit with a $534 balance due to a switch in insurance. My new plan had a $0 copay, which was verified, yet a staff member named Heather falsely told me my copay was $100. When I asked her to escalate the issue, she suddenly changed her tune and admitted it was indeed $0 (I'm still curious where $100 came from) if not trying to discourage me from staying with mindful health due to the balance my insurance gap caused. but only after blocking me from booking further appointments. They then refused to update my prescription, even though l've been a consistent client. Since November of 2024 Heather, in particular, was very unprofessional throughout the process. This feedback isn't out of anger, it's my honest experience. To this day, I've never received a follow-up from the director who promised to investigate and get back to me. I wouldn't recommend Mindful Health unless they significantly improve the things I mentioned. read more

I love this facility. every staff member has been so sweet and caring from the women at the front desk to the two beautiful souls that did my intakes. I started it doing IOP then stepped up to PHP. Greg is ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!! He makes me think and consider why I do the things that I do. Dr Sayed is a great psychiatrist! he listens to my concerns and what I think is helpful regarding my medication management. Overall I would and have highly recommended Mindful Health for mental health needs. read more

You can never reach them on the phone. Be wary of over billing. Happened three times and impossible to reach them to discuss it. Not to mention I never even got an appointment for my mother, and still received almost $500 in charges, even though we followed cancellation policy. Unreal business practice, and causing so much stress on her when this is supposed to be a mental health clinic that helps. Jenn Wood owner reached out to me on a google review and email saying she would get it fixed that day and get back to me, and unfortunately 5+ days later, charge has not been dropped and I have still not heard from her. I am honestly just not sure what else to do at this point, hoping another review will get her to help us with situation as you won't get any help from calling their office. :( read more

I was told I'd be evaluated by a psychiatrist. There was no psychiatrist, it felt like a scam or a timeshare pitch. I know this is a relatively new company. My OB office just referred me - so I will definitely let them know about my experience and recommend they do not continue to refer patients here. I even received an email and text reminder that said "Your upcoming appointment with your psychiatrist, Dr. Cameron Culver is March 4th..." - however, I met with a non-clinical office worker who asked me basic intake questions that could have been done online. That was the extent of my appointment. That was what I took a half day of PTO for, drove almost 3 hours round trip for, paid a nanny extra for, arranged my mother in law to pick up my child for, cut my work meeting short for, and basically re-arranged my entire day for. Huge disappointment, incredibly frustrating to say the least, and one of those experiences that just makes you angry cry. Some companies can be so misleading - and even that is wording it generously. They completely lied about the services they provide. Huge waste of time - and even extra disappointing that they're in the mental health space. I also come from a background in healthcare, so that's what makes it extra disappointing and almost makes me take this too personally. It's already hard to access quality mental health care, and they didn't make it any easier. If anything, this experience was the worst thing that's happened to my mental health in weeks. Even though the drive was over 2 hours round trip, I decided it would be worth it, especially since they confirmed all appointments following the psychiatrist evaluation would be virtual. However, that wasn't even true. I was told that I'd have to come back a SECOND time in-person for the actual evaluation with a psychiatrist or nurse. When I asked what the point of the current in-person appointment was for, she said to fill out the intake form and schedule the next appointment. Someone please tell me why this warrants an in-person visit. To give even more context - these intake questions were extremely basic. It was not "evaluating" anything. These were basic questions like my emergency contact, current medications, medical history, if I've done therapy before, etc. All of these questions could have been answered via an email form. There is absolutely no reason I needed to be in person for this. I do not understand why a company would have a process in place that would make someone come in person for the sole purpose of filling out an intake form. There was no evaluation, there was so psychiatrist. It felt like a scam. To make matters worse (if that's even possible), I called the phone number and provided the feedback to a customer service rep. Interestingly enough, she said that they actually could have scheduled me for a virtual appointment with a psychiatrist that would include the intake and full evaluation. So why even offer it as an option for someone to come in person TWICE when they could just accomplish everything in one virtual visit? This organization is disorganized, and their staff does not seem aligned on their process because I heard three different stories from three different staff members. I cannot wrap my head around why a company would ever make someone come in person to fill out a basic intake form when they told them they would speak with a psychiatrist. This company is unethical, and I would not recommend it to anyone. I'm sure most people working here mean well, but their process is completely inconsiderate of people's time and incredibly disorganized. If you go to their website and read their pamphlets you'll also find typos, grammar errors, etc. Definitely lacks professionalism, thoughtfulness, and is not "Mindful" at all. read more

They are constantly, and I mean CONSTANTLY forgetting to fill prescriptions...we have to call them repeatedly to get them filled. They also repeatedly bill incorrectly and then when you try to get that corrected, they have you call their billing office which is located elsewhere and NEVER EVER answers the phone. The billing office will have you leave a message and good luck getting them to return your phone call! read more

I absolutely love everything about this clinic. They care about their patients. They work with my hectic schedule and listen to my concerns. Their quality of care is amazing. Their therapists are non-judgmental and listen to patients with an open mind and encouraging words. They provide therapy and psychiatry services. I will not go anywhere else. read more

This place is a joke! I went in needing serious help and they charged me nearly 5,000 dollars for a program. I was supposed to have met my insurance deductible but now they want to charge me more. The doctor is always hours late and behind on everything. He never did get my medication right so long story short after spending over 5,000 dollars I am no better off than when I started. I should have saved my money and dealt with my problems myself like usual. read more
