Pricey but the doctors are extremely tuned in, share care and compassion, advice has been excellent. Dr. Feldman is particularly superb.

Dr. Yang never forces a treatment and will work with you to find the best path to living your best life. Punctual and accessible, Dr. Yang ensures that the environment where you meet is calming and discrete. I especially appreciate that he allows for a dual session with my partner and values both of our inputs. I can not recommend Dr. Yang enough!

Yes, he has a great location, lots of parking ($5) and an office with impressive abstract paintings. What really sets him apart is THAT HE TRULY CARES AND CONSULTS WITH THE CLIENT 100%. Unlike my previous psychiatrists who would meet me for 15 minutes to glance at my chart and give me medication to try, Dr. Yang looked at everything, and I mean everything. He requested all past medical records to make a decision on which medications to suggest. He took into consideration my body's reactions to previous treatments and external factors. Had it not been for him I probably would not be alive. He met with me every two weeks for an hour, we would converse for 30 minutes, and go over medication and literature for the other half hour. He has completely honest about the pros and cons of each prescription, and if I was willing to try it. He never sugar coated anything, and I think that helped a lot. He also had a good idea on how my body would react, and he was always right. I am glad my friends helped me pay my initial consultation, and for Dr.Yang who did not turn me away but provided a payment plan for me after evaluation. Now I am enjoying my 30's and planning for the future. I did not think I would make it to see my 30th birthday before coming to Clarity Mental Health. This place goes beyond the call of duty for their patients. I always felt understood and respected on all levels. His office has a different entrance and exit for privacy and he never runs late, they answer all phone calls and I never had any problems with my pharmacy or paperwork. Extremely professional and trustworthy. Thanks to Dr.Yang, I am thriving and enjoying life today.

Most times he could barely stay awake during our sessions. I didn't realize how much that affected our relationship. As a result, I was stuck in a horrible rut for the many years I was his patient. I realize now that he didn't believe most of what I told him. Because of that, he missed a critical diagnosis of a neurological condition that I was experiencing for all of those years. Keep your priorities straight when seeking treatment--getting it right is more important than getting along.

I had to sleep for 2 weeks straight with a towel over my eyes with a horrible headache after quitting TMS. He said transcranial magnetic stimulation couldn't cause tinnitus and hyperacusis but it did for me PERMANENTLY. I've discovered many other people have had those very side effects which are PERMANENT as well. Everybody says Hutton is great but I have PTSD from his TMS now. I cannot do the same work or hobbies I could before I did TMS because my tinnitus and TMS-PTSD is triggered by reverberating noises and loud sounds. My ear always rings which it never did before I was injured by Dr. Hutton's TMS. Even my skin discolored at the site of the probe. One day the fraud that is TMS will come out. Can NOT recommend

Unfortunately, I had previously been of the opinion that I didn't need professional help because I could work things out on my own as I was highly educated, well-travelled and I mistakenly had an exaggerated understanding of my ability to understand myself and my problems. Six years after the suicide attempt, I became very depressed and decided it was either find competent help, or I would be back on the road to suicide. Within a relatively short time, Dr. Miklusak helped me recognize that I had repressed memories about my abusive father and weak mother for over 60 years. If someone had told me that they had repressed such crucial and grave memories, I would have doubted his or her sincerity. The realization of these many childhood experiences and Dr. Miklusak's expert guidance have completely changed by outlook and attitude about the potential life has to offer me. Of course, my sessions with Dr. Miklusak are far more complicated than just recognition of repressed memories, but the main point is that Dr. Miklusak's very high competence level and interpersonal skills completely changed my life from a daily experience of deep sadness to now waking up almost every morning excited to live that day. The main reason I had not sought psychiatric help in the past is because I had very little faith in a psychiatrist genuinely being able to help me. Dr. Miklusak proved me completely wrong about that opinion.

The voicemail said the Doctor was out of the office on the last few days of January, however my calls took place mid February. On the 3rd & final attempt about 2 weeks after the initial call, someone finally answered the phone. When I told the woman who answered that I wanted to set up an appointment with the Doctor for medication management she immediately asked what my insurance was. I stated Blueshield PPO. She asked me if it was through Covered California or LA Care. I stated Covered California. She immediately told me that the Doctor hasn't taken that insurance since January 2017. I asked if the doctor had a sliding scale and she told me that the first visit was $300 and that rash initial visit depending if it was 15min or 30min was $125-175 cash only. I rate this zero stars on customer service and zero stars on trying to offer help to someone who obviously needed some medical attention. If a person is calling seeking help & treatment... don't be rude. You could obviously be the last person that the ill were speaking to, and they could be in serious need, to the point that may have taken this call personally and have taken their own life. Be more considerate dear little miss phone answerer.
