You go in, get loose and limber…read moreon a machine, see the chiropractor for a whole 5 minutes and off you go until the next visit. If you like this option....they offer it as an option. But really, why rob yourself of the full package they offer. Let me take you back to late February when I first met Dr. Katie. (I thank my friend Sharyn for her referral.) We go over the initial patient paperwork and the issues that I have. The initial purpose of the visit was due to the discomfort I had in my lower back and hip area. (I later find out it's because of the chair I had at work.) What shocked me is on this first visit she has me do a few bend here, look hear, do this, do that, as a baseline of my mobility. She then takes an X-ray and we go over her discovery. It's at this point I see how misaligned my hips were (my work chair had an issue of not being leveled), the curvature of my spine and the vertebrae by my neck area that was causing my headaches (thanks to lots of computer work and driving). What shocked me was the excessive bloating I had that I could see clearly on the X-ray. She explained how my digestive system was disrupted because of how my spine was out of whack. We then set a schedule to get my body ready for the lifestyle changes I was about to encounter. Since My first visit, my mobility has changed greatly, the bloating has cut down tremendously, my digestive system is in the best working condition it's ever been. Keep in mind it's not about adjustments. Dr. Katie has supplements and a diet(s) that coincides with the adjustments. I truly believe I could have just stick with the normal, fo in, her adjustments and leave. Along with my weekly adjustments, I'm blessed with weekly texts of mind, body and soul messages. Nevertheless, I did my homework on what Dr. Davison was offering, and when I went in for his analysis of my back condition I had a truckload of well educated questions. No problem with Doc's responses, without question, his knowledge, understanding and proper procedures are cutting edge. Basically, Doc Davison is smart as hell. I know, because I drilled him, and I'm smart as hell. He actually teaches other doctors how to diagnose and implement his procedures. We did the stem cell therapy where the cells came from frozen cells from placenta and or cord afterbirth. (Not sure about whether cord stem cells are part of his stock, actually.) Here's the bottom line: It wasnt cheap, it was a 45 minute procedure, it didn't hurt very much. I went in damned near crippled and within 3 days I was feeling 80% normal. It's now 3 weeks and I'm 95% normal. Sounds too good to be true? Yep, I know it does, but its true. Finaly, do your homework about stem cell therapy. Go in knowing something about it. When you see Dr. Davison you'll find out that he knows the ins and outs way more than what's published on the Internet. He's pretty busy, but when you're in his office theres nothing else but you on his mind. When my husband mentioned this to them when booking, they highly recommended the restorative message with Malia for me. Upon arriving, there is plenty of parking since it's in a small plaza. But it's a bit tricky to find the first time, since it is through a door and up the stairs. The receptionist was really nice and had us checked in quickly and got us water. Malia and Ashley kindly greeted us and brought us to the couple's room where we got settled in. My husband said his massage was really relaxing and Ashley was able to hit a lot of pressure points he didn't know were sore and tired. Malia was AMAZING, there was a point she used hot stone on my foot, and it was hurting so much due to the plantar fasciitis, but I knew I had to endure it. She really focused on the calves and foot with heat and helped me feel relax and comfortable. After the massage, Malia really took the time to explain home remedies and what I should do to help with plantar fasciitis. Overall, 808 Wellness Spa was amazing!
