The price was competitive and due to how detail-oriented and communicative the estimator was, we decided to proceed with Insulwise. A three person crew arrived at our house at 9:30 AM. They worked efficiently and removed our whole house fan, installed a platform for storage, thoroughly covered up open areas in our attic, before blowing in insulation throughout the space. The team leader was very communicative and helpful in explaining their process, and I barely noticed their presence as I was working on the floor below them. They ran a test on the air leakage of the home before and after the installation and I was very impressed with the results. They did a good job cleaning up after and they were done by 3:00 PM. I highly recommend Insulwise for anyone looking to lower their AC and Heating bills.

Taking weather changes into account which was about 25% colder so far, we also used about 25% more gas to heat the home at the same settings. On the plus side, the room above the garage and second floor bedroom below the attic are more comfortable and less drafty, so we 'll keep tabs and hopefully we'll see better results in the summer with a/c usage.

I called the owner and explained to him I hear a noise while running my AC. He refused to listen and troubleshoot. I had to call someone to do a diagnostic check on my AC and it was identified that the line set needed to adjusted back to its position. Once adjusted the noise was gone. Superior Air Duct Cleaning caused me unnecessary cost to get something fixed that they caused. Bad business model. Don't hire these people. They will not take responsibility of any post service complaints.

It took him about 20 minutes and he was in and out. I paid via cc and I forgot to ask for a receipt, so I sent an email to request the paid invoice. They had to connect to my outside water source, park in front of the house and leave my front door open for the equipment. It would have been nice to know all of this in advance so I could have been better prepared. After service was completed I was emailed a survey. I completed it and noted that that equipment left a small scuff mark on the staircase. I truly believe Mincin was heaven sent. Last year, I spent $500 on my gas bill for one month in the winter. FIVE HUNDRED. I called Mincin, they insulated my home....My bill has barely reaches above $100 since then!! HA! Even with my system turned all the way up or down!!!! The life of my furnace might surpass my own now! WOW. It's not running as much as it did before and I've nearly made back the money I spent the insulate my house in savings on my bill. My husband and I still can't believe it. I say to everyone, if you need to save money on your gas bill.... DO IT!!!!!! Get the insulation done!! Pittsabana's team is all of this and more! From the first call to receive a free estimate through to completion, Maria, Ivan and the Pittsabana team were a pure delight to work with. Their knowledgeable and professional service made the potential headache of major home repairs dissolve. I initially contracted Pitttsabana to remove the ineffective box gutters from my 1900 home that had been poorly repaired in what some might call a 'fix and flip'. I called for the estimate on a Friday of a holiday weekend and Ivan showed up first thing Monday morning to take drone imaging of the gutters in order to provide the most accurate estimate. I was provided two estimates: one to repair the existing box gutters and another to remove them and install a seamless aluminum gutter system. In the end, I chose the second. However, upon removing the box gutters, Ivan' team gained access to the attic for the first time as I have no internal access and discovered considerable water damage, NO Insulation, and shingles slapped on top of other shingles to hide the actual state of the roof!! (No wonder my gas/electric bills were so high!) Ivan contacted me immediately with images and knowledge of how to go about fixing the roof, and again I was provided with multiple options to choose from. Ivan was willing to come to the house and patiently walk me through my options, explaining the differences between the plans, as much of this was new to me. This allowed me to pick the plan that best fit both my aesthetic and my budget! Ivan's team arrived early every day, worked diligently, and adapted their work schedule to meet the needs of my family (ending earlier than they otherwise would have one day). They thoroughly cleaned the area every day to ensure that my yard was safe for my dogs. AND they went above and beyond, fixing some 'poorly flipped' items they discovered along the way! By the time all was said and done, I have a functioning gutter system, a STUNNING new roof with proper ventilation, properly lined and capped chimneys, and a crew I would consider friends! 20/10!
