They were able to give us many options from a local kill shelter (without us feeling pressured- really!) and then followed through with all the information we could ask for about the dogs we were interested in. Jillian was constantly available and willing to work with us when it came to transportation for our new pup. We received constant updates with pictures from both Jillian and Chad, which made us feel included through the entire adoption process; from them pulling him out from the kill shelter and then rehabilitating him until we were able to adopt. We got constant training updates so we felt ready and prepared for him when we brought him home. He is already settling in nicely, alive and happy! Thank you so much!!

Hello. My name is Jeff. I'm from Massachusetts. I recently seen one of your ( Take a dog out for a…read moreday ) ! I wouldn't mind doing that. Her name was Mama Moo. A black and white fur baby. This little girl, touched my heart. Well behaved and friendly. And a tail wagger. I thought after seeing this video, If I had my own property, I would of made an appointment; at your location, for a possible meet and greet. And if we became instant friends, then I would take her home to her forever home. With the ( Adoption paperwork ), of course. Hoping Mama Moo finds a forever home, soon. I participated in their amazing Doggy Day Out program requesting the dog they thought would need it most. I "borrowed" one of the adult dogs, his name was Goblin, for the day. They had everything prepared for me when I got there:: he had a special "Adopt Me" vest on, a good leash, a water bowl, poop bags, a couple of toys to bring with us and even a bag with special treats for him. I took him to Paris Mountain and we hiked for hours. I fell in love with that boy! He was so pooped when we returned but in a good way. I shared numerous photos I took of him on our hike, hoping to help with his adoption. Good pics really help. He was adopted shortly thereafter, and it made my heart happy. If everyone would spay/neuter/chip their animals, we wouldn't need animal shelters in the first place. Great program!

I applied for a job here back at the beginning of March. I went in to tour the facility around…read moremid-March, and by April 1st, I was offered a working interview. I went in at 8a-11a under the pretense that I would be working and completing tasks the staff would normally do for compensation. When I got to the facility, the staff told me I would not be doing any work and would overall be observing. Even still, I tried to make myself useful and do things in order to feel like my time was well-spent. Despite me performing duties the staff would certainly do (cleaning the lobby, handling cats and dogs, and ushering animals to kennels and holders), I was denied the position, and the payment I should have received from the work I did. I was told that I hadn't done "any of the work they do" and that I "don't work for the county". All in all, I was lied to and my time was wasted during this "working interview". The staff was very unprofessional, and I would not recommend this job to anyone if you value honesty, integrity, and a workplace suitable for animal lovers. I cannot speak for the adoption side of things, however.

I had a very heartbreaking experience here... I was traveling through Greenville on a cross country…read moreroadtrip when I stumbled upon a beautiful dog running around on a very busy street in a commercial area. The dog was clearly a stray, it was dirty, malnourished, and was full of ticks. I managed to get the dog into my car and drove to Greenville County Animal Care for help. I was very rudely rejected by the staff there. They claimed they can't help me because they're full and can't take in any more dogs. I understand that but when I asked for them to advise me on what to do next they said they don't know and that I should probably just go knocking on doors to see if anyone has lost their dog... ARE YOU SERIOUS??? I tried to explain that I'm not from around here and was simply just passing through but the workers were very passive aggressive and rude. They offered no help and seemed very indifferent about the fate of the dog I found. I went back in my car and broke down because of how awful I felt after this interaction. It's concerning how people working at an "animal care" shelter and be heartless... I understand they are probably very full and busy but all I wanted was to be pointed in the right direction. I went out of my way to rescue an animal in need and just wanted some help. I'm VERY saddened about this situation.

She wasn't pushy like other places we had visited. Meagan really has a genuine love for her pups. We went in looking for a Poodle and ended up with a Maltipoo. After being in our family for several days now, that peace has been confirmed even more. Cali or Callie (we haven't decided on the spelling yet) is her name since we're from there. I recently brought home two teacup Yorkshire Terriers, and I am absolutely in love with them. From the moment I picked them up, I could tell how much love and care had gone into raising them. One of them, Tiny, went straight to the pee wee pad when we got home--such a smart little guy! His older brother Titan loves to cuddle and falls asleep in my sisters arms when she hold him. Seeing how they behave really shows how well they're cared for and prepped before going to their forever homes. The experience was smooth, the environment was clean, and it's clear the team at Precious Petite Puppies truly cares about every single pup. I've attached some photos so you can see just how adorable they are! If you're even thinking about adding a furry friend to your life, definitely check them out!
