She calms my son on the spectrum and sleeps with him at night. She has awakened the empath in me and increased my drive/motivation. We found the shelter to be very clean for the animals. The cats were in nice big cages with hammocks for them and they were well fed and watered and there was no smell from the cats as their cages were very clean. The dog kennels were also very clean and so were the animals. We both felt that the reception area could be kept neater, but we found the small staff there very friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate adopting from or relocating to this shelter.

They were able to give us many options from a local kill shelter (without us feeling pressured- really!) and then followed through with all the information we could ask for about the dogs we were interested in. Jillian was constantly available and willing to work with us when it came to transportation for our new pup. We received constant updates with pictures from both Jillian and Chad, which made us feel included through the entire adoption process; from them pulling him out from the kill shelter and then rehabilitating him until we were able to adopt. We got constant training updates so we felt ready and prepared for him when we brought him home. He is already settling in nicely, alive and happy! Thank you so much!!

She was sick when she got here -- vomiting and diarrhea, sometimes with blood in her stool. We took her to our vet, only to find that she had an intestinal parasite. Total cost to cure: over $500. She has also been a constant behavioral problem -- destroying furniture. Worst of all, she is afraid of almost everything -- from the first day she arrived. The Crockett trainer said she was shy -- hardly. It's as if she were traumatized as a very young puppy. She is the product of a Lancaster, PA puppy mill. The Crockett people should be driven out of business. We spent thousands of dollars for a dog that is a constant problem.

I applied for a job here back at the beginning of March. I went in to tour the facility around…read moremid-March, and by April 1st, I was offered a working interview. I went in at 8a-11a under the pretense that I would be working and completing tasks the staff would normally do for compensation. When I got to the facility, the staff told me I would not be doing any work and would overall be observing. Even still, I tried to make myself useful and do things in order to feel like my time was well-spent. Despite me performing duties the staff would certainly do (cleaning the lobby, handling cats and dogs, and ushering animals to kennels and holders), I was denied the position, and the payment I should have received from the work I did. I was told that I hadn't done "any of the work they do" and that I "don't work for the county". All in all, I was lied to and my time was wasted during this "working interview". The staff was very unprofessional, and I would not recommend this job to anyone if you value honesty, integrity, and a workplace suitable for animal lovers. I cannot speak for the adoption side of things, however.

She wasn't pushy like other places we had visited. Meagan really has a genuine love for her pups. We went in looking for a Poodle and ended up with a Maltipoo. My girls and especially my wife were in love at first sight. There was just a peace in knowing she was the one for us. I recently brought home two teacup Yorkshire Terriers, and I am absolutely in love with them. From the moment I picked them up, I could tell how much love and care had gone into raising them. One of them, Tiny, went straight to the pee wee pad when we got home--such a smart little guy! His older brother Titan loves to cuddle and falls asleep in my sisters arms when she hold him. Seeing how they behave really shows how well they're cared for and prepped before going to their forever homes. The experience was smooth, the environment was clean, and it's clear the team at Precious Petite Puppies truly cares about every single pup.
