We have been bringing our cats & dogs to Clinton Animal Hospital for several years now. VERY HAPPY with not just the care & concern~~but the prices are Excellent. We are going in the am to bring in our cat who has been sick. Went to an Emergency Vet Operation in Greenville Saturday. 4 hour wait & still had not gotten to our cat. We were in 95 degree weather outside waiting~~some of staff was rude when we came inside to get a drink from machine & use the bathroom. NEVER would this happen at Clinton Animal Hospital. When the 1 vet told us $200 for blood work...about same to get a urine PLUS the $105...we LEFT. Will get better care HERE IN CLINTON & for a LOT LESS. Cat seems to be a little better~~glad we did wait. Sorry we went to Greenville~~waste of Time, Money & Sweat !! read more

Our adoption group has been using and recommending Dr Dixon here for nearly 20 years now. She is wonderful, caring and her prices are very reasonable compared to Greenville vets. I drive to Clinton from Greenville with my greyhounds. They are quite different from other breeds and need very specific care and Dr Dixon is the most knowledgeable greyhound vet in the area. read more

This place is rediculous. My dog needs his eye examined and they wouldn't even look at him once we showed up for his appointment because his last vet died and can't answer the phone. My dog will go blind if he's not treated. SHAME ON THESE HORRIBLE PEOPLE. NO COMPASSION AT ALL read more

Recently we took our dog to this veterinary clinic and were told that our dog did not need to see a specialist, and we kept him there for 48 hours. Then after no answers and grey areas, they then told us we needed to take him to a specialist, because they were unsure of what they were doing. When we asked to speak to the doctor to get a better understanding, she was unprofessional and rude, and she hung up on us because we were frustrated we had spent $700 at this point with no answers. Not to mention, in the midst of their professionalism, the forgot his medicines, and we then had to have them delivered to us. After taking our dog to a specialist, we then found out he had cancer. So after all the tests that were ran by Clinton Animal Hospital, and cancer was ruled out, we were then informed our sweet boy had cancer, and it was aggressive and time was running out. What could have been found out sooner to get our dog proper treatment, it is now too late. Thank you for your unprofessionalism and poor behavior. We brought our Greyhound Ron Green to see Dr. Dixon for dental work. She treats and examines all the retired Greyhounds coming from the tracks before they are fostered and eventually adopted out. Unfortunately he has always had bad teeth, so the time had come to remove the few remaining teeth. Dr. Dixon did a great job, and the fees are very reasonable. It was worth driving 40 miles for such excellent care! We'll be going back for sure. read more

Ive been a customer there for years and took my dog to be boarded while we were on vacation . When we picked our dog up , the next day he got kennel cough he had been vaccinated for this but still got really sick. Dr. Dixon and her staff knew this was a problem there and did not say a word when we picked up. She was aware I had other dogs at home and of course they got sick too. My son boarded his at the same time and his two came home sick as well. I talked to a friend who boarded a month prior and her dogs came home with kennel cough even though vaccinated. Why didn't staff warn us that this was a problem? When I took my dog back due to coughing staff yelled at me " Get him out of here he's got kennel cough and it's highly contagious " !! Was told oh yea we have it but don't worry no big deal we will give you meds. Called and left messages for Dr. Dixon who was out of the office but was aware of problem and she never returned my calls, and they continued to take boarders and never warned customers when I was there getting meds for my dog. To me that's pure neglegince and greed !!! I WAS a long time customer but not anymore , staff is very rude and appointment wait times are sometimes,ore than an hour ! KEEP OUT !! read more

If you love your pet, DO NOT BRING THEM HERE!!! My 8 wk old kitten got very sick on Wednesday afternoon, so I carried her to this vet office Thursday morning to see what was wrong. Dr. Hardy examined her and said she was sick because of parasites and because she had a cold. He even felt her stomach and noticed that she had hard feces that hadn't passed, but didn't even see this as an issue even though I told him she hadn't pooped in two days. She stayed sick so I carried her back Friday and he said he wanted to keep her for the weekend to see what was wrong. I go back Saturday morning to visit and she has vomit dried around her mouth and medicine dried all over her little head. WHO LETS A BABY SIT IN HER OWN VOMIT?!?! I was furious, and Dr. Dixon was baffled because nothing they were trying was working to stop her vomiting. So I brought her home to help her myself due to the fact that they are clueless. They didn't even do blood work to try to see if that would detect the problem! I ended up carrying her to an emergency clinic in Spartanburg last night (Saturday) and the Dr there examined her and immediately knew what was wrong. She has a fecal impaction that is so bad it's making her sick like this. A problem that could've been solved Thursday if Dr. Hardy had known what he was doing. I'm beyond upset with the Clinton Animal Hospital and I'll never carry my baby back to them. Also, the staff is very rude and will basically yell orders at you even if you are standing right in front of them. If your pet is sick, PLEASE CARRY THEM ELSEWHERE! read more
