Called to scheduel an appointment with Dr. Martin Claiborne for a 94 year old Medicare/Medicaid…read morepatient in the LCMC network at the office in Harahan. Dr. Martin was recommended by her Primary Care physician. The answering administrative staff member informed that there would be a $50.00 'security' deposit to schedule the appointment, 'before we get started'. 75 years of medical interactions, this has never occurred before, I was informed that there was no insurance info on file and this was standard. I was never asked to submit the insurance info even though the 94 year old had a previous appointment scheduled and was unable to attend. I submit The Claiborne Dermatology business is not customer focused.

I requested Martin but cole saw us and took a photo saying he would show his dad and Iet us know how to move forward. Well after leaving six messages to NO avail, I went in to the office to ask what action we should take. Martin had the nerve to come out and actually told me in front of his nurse and receptionist that he was never shown a photo, that his son was dealing with a "crazy" person in their chalmette office, and that "THEY HAD BIGGER FISH TO FRY" and turned his back on me and walked away!!!! I left out wanting to cry and feeling humiliated. To me, my husband's eye is a "big fish to fry". Martin was the rudest dr. I have ever experienced seeing in my 64 years. So very very disgraceful. Shame on u Martin. Perhaps u should consider retirement if u are so stressed by a pt to the point ud degrade another. I'd love the decency of a response. Jill an K9drews Nocentelli

I also like how they space appointment times so that there's not a lot of folks on top of each other. The location is super easy to get to but parking is a bit scarce. Who would think that after all these years she would still be a much needed resource!?! No matter where I have lived throughout the US, I always find my way back. I have tried other places and come to learn that Doc is in a class all by herself. She has an office in Metairie and Gonzales. She is very popular, so appointments are about month out. Dr. Terezakis prides herself on great skin. She routinely seeks out new information and she is the poster child of great skin at any age. If you see her you would know what I am talking about. It looks like she has been in a hyperbaric chamber. She has no wrinkles and her face is skin is awesome! It's pretty amazing. Many recommended products are sold at Celeste Labs. Celeste Labs is onsite. You can purchase products which are offered elsewhere but they prices are the same. They offer everything from Green Cream to Tinted Sunscreen. They also ship nationwide. The only drawback is service is not always quick. On average an appointment takes about 75-90 minutes. But, it is totally worth the wait.

I wouldn't go to your practice if it were the last in Louisiana. Your receptionist, Christiana, and her personable skills, should be dealt with as it is a horrible representation of whatever "professional" practice you're operating. You guys are terrible. At first I wasn't going to even call them then after speaking with my dermatologists I was told…read morethat I should probably say something to at the very least, them. But after letting them know what happened and the way it was handled I am so disgusted IDC about how they feel cause CLEARLY THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT ME OR MY WELL-BEING. HERE GOES....I initionally was sent to this "Med spa" (I use the term loosely) to have my lips and some botox for the first time. My experiences here have never been smooth sailing but ultimately I really like Katherine so I continued to do botox with her and on July 9th HAD an appt for my lips, 2nd time, and botox, 3rd time. Well I had an email from them about on sale dermablading and work very hard so I said ok ill treat myself. The appt was great, I really enjoyed getting to know Charli a little better and they had a super sweet girl in there I had never met so I got to meet her as well. Charli even turned me on to the Color Science voodoo 50 SPF tinted moisturizer, which I bought and ABSOLUTELY LOVE. WELL let's fast forward 3-4 days later and my face was extremely swollen, looked almost like an abcess had formed where I had a blemish that wasn't all the way healed when I went in for my dermablading. Noone said it was an issue so i didn't think it was. Boy was I WRONGGGGGGGG. MY FACE WAS SO SWOLLEN, refer to pictures, on the fourth/fifth day after I had no choice but to go ro Urgent care cause I didn't want to go to the er but it was Sunday and I had to go somewhere. Of course I was right. I had a staph infection on my face. I was given a steroid shot in my hip a steroid to take a home and also Bactrum antibiotic. On Monday is when I went ahead and reached out. So much is wrong with how this place handled me. For one the ONLY person I was allowed to talk to, complain to, was the person that actually did the procedure, Charli. She was apologetic said she would call Katherine and get back to me. At this point i would've bet my life Katherine was gonna call me and so we could talk about this BIG ISSUE. WELL, THANK GOD I didn't bet anyone cause it was actually, you guessed it, Charli thar called me back to say these things happen unfortunately and they would give me my $65 back if I would like. I just had to laugh and hang up. NO LOVE YOU CAN KEEP YHE $65, OBVIOUSLY Y'ALL NEED IT MORE THAN ME. AND im sure there is some truth to the whole, these things happen. BUT YOU KNOW WHERE IR DOESNT HAPPEN?!?!? CLEAN PLACES!! YOU DIDNT JUST GIVE ME AN INFECTION, YOU GAVE ME A STAPH INFECRION ON MY FACE RIGHT BY MY MOUTH. NOT ONLY DID I HAVE TO PAY ALMOST $400 FOR urgent care and prescriptions, had to miss 2 days of work cause I can NOT work like that, see pictures, couldn't kiss my kids, still can't kiss my handsome husband because I am terrified I'll pass something onto one of them. But sure I need my $65 back. A joke really. The WORST PART OUT OF ALL OF THIS ISNT THAT THEY OFFERED ME $65, INSULT, ITS THAT AT NO POINT IN TIME DID SHE ASK IF I NEEDED ANYTHING OR IF I MAYBE WANTED KATHERINE TO HAVE A LOOK AND SEE IF THERE WAS ANYTHING EITHER OF THEM COULD DO. IM STILL TRYING TO HEAL AND ITS BEEN MORE THAN A WEEK. NEEDLESS TO SAY IVE CANCELLED ALL MY UPCOMING APPTS AS HAVE MY FRIENDS THAT I referred their. I'm so disgusted that Katherine didn't reach out herself. Like I don't mean anything cause she so busy and she'll make money off of everyone else. I even emailed Katherine and told her I'm so disappointed cause I really like it there but my and my families health is of the UPMOST IMPORTANCE.
