Last Wednesday, I called for grooming appointments for my two dogs. I was speaking with Anna…read moreherself and she stated that she is now using online booking and that I needed to book through her program. I proceeded to enter both my dogs into the system and prepared to book the services I wanted for the dogs, one being a Samoyed mix who required a de-shed. I selected the de-shed option for him and the price was $125. I scheduled them for Tuesday, 6-13-23 and also had to pay a $25 reservation fee for both dogs and decided to pre-pay my tip. I had to agree to the charges and terms of the reservation. I used this business last year and the groomer does an amazing job. On Monday, 6-12-23 I received my conformation emails and confirmed that they would be there Tuesday. A few hours after confirming, I received a call from the groomer, not Anna, stating that she has decided to raise her pricing. That now I would be required to pay $89 an hour for the de-shed. His de-shed takes approximately 4 hours. I couldn't believe that Anna would have a groomer call to give me this news and I requested to speak to Anna. Anna called me about 15 minutes later trying to tell me that I would be paying the $89 not the agreed to price online. I stated to her that was not going happen, and Anna preceded to continuously interrupt me and then she hung up on me. I was only a mile from her shop and drove over to speak to her in person. Anna told me to sit in a specific chair and proceeded to tell me that her pricing online was wrong, that she spent 8 hours a day trying to figure it out and I responded with that was not my problem. I scheduled per her request online and accepted the terms and pricing. She kept telling me that she could not talk to me as I was trying to explain to her that her lack of professionalism and attitude toward a customer was totally out of line. In the middle of a sentence she grabbed a dog that was on the floor and proceeded out the door, left me sitting there. I got up and followed her out of the building, still trying to get her to understand that what she was doing was not how one ran a business. I did tell her that she needed to come back to to earth and have some perspective. She said that she was canceling my appointments and I said that would be great and I would wait for them to be canceled to get a receipt. She then told me to get off her private property, which is not private when you run a public business. Anna is a very unprofessional business owner who used all sorts of ploys to get out of the situation she created. If she treats her customers this way to their face, how are the animals getting treated? I did receive my $50 reservation fee back, not the pre-paid tip. That will be handled differently if not returned. Spare yourself the wrath of Anna when she can't get her way. PS...I went to the booking section today to see if she changed her pricing, now there is no pricing listed for services.

Fraudulent! Terrible service and they are fraudulent. They are not reliable, do not clean up after…read morethemselves, will block your number and will not give you quality work at all. Will take your money and will not finish a job. They are not professional and will use subpar items for any job. I had a roof that they worked on they used the wrong base that was not for roofs it was siding for the side of a house and all of the roof panels flew off two weeks after they put them on and now they are no where to be found! I really tried to work with them and like supporting small businesses but do your self a favor and save yourself the headache! Pay more and go to a reputable place. I hope that they get banned and investigated for fraud. They should not be allowed to do this to people.

I really wanted to be able to give this place more stars than one…read more It has a very central location, especially for where I needed to go for work. It is a beautiful unit, very spacious, with an ideal floor plan, and reasonably priced. That however, is where all of the good praise stops. Amelia the property manager and Ashley the Core Living customer service rep. Are next to impossible to reach regarding any issue around your townhome. I reached out weeks before I planned to be in the area for work, and was told there would be a unit available. I was also told that it would be an easy process getting in. My start date was fast approaching and after trying to reach either of the aforementioned women to no avail. I started getting nervous and began looking at other places for short term rental. Luckily - Amelia finally got back to me, and told me it wouldn't be a problem, awesome. It's all good after all. I drive get my keys, and move in. My car was vandalized once, our grill was stolen, my car was the victim in a hit and run, and my water hose was stolen. It came time to move out and I gave my notice, via text because she wouldn't answer phone calls or emails. 45 days later, they told me I owe another full month's rent because no notice was given. I screenshotted the text message and multiple calls, and emailed it to her cc'ing Ashley and Core Living (their parent group) onto the email. It took an additional two weeks of calling and emailing daily to get either of them to respond and have the payment portion fixed online. FINALLY I was free. Remember, I am out of town - after reading my lease agreement, I was supposed to have my deposit returned to my home address. I get home to find no deposit returned and no itemized list of deductions. So, we start calling and emailing again. FINALLY 106 days after I moved out, i received the list of deductions and my final balance. Deductions which I am not able to dispute due to no move-out inspection by the property manager with me present. I would never recommend this establishment to anyone unless you're really in a pinch. The place and location is great. The communication, personnel, and neighbors/theft are the absolute worst.
