Last Wednesday, I called for grooming appointments for my two dogs. I was speaking with Anna herself and she stated that she is now using online booking and that I needed to book through her program. I proceeded to enter both my dogs into the system and prepared to book the services I wanted for the dogs, one being a Samoyed mix who required a de-shed. I selected the de-shed option for him and the price was $125. I scheduled them for Tuesday, 6-13-23 and also had to pay a $25 reservation fee for both dogs and decided to pre-pay my tip. I had to agree to the charges and terms of the reservation. I used this business last year and the groomer does an amazing job. On Monday, 6-12-23 I received my conformation emails and confirmed that they would be there Tuesday. A few hours after confirming, I received a call from the groomer, not Anna, stating that she has decided to raise her pricing. That now I would be required to pay $89 an hour for the de-shed. His de-shed takes approximately 4 hours. I couldn't believe that Anna would have a groomer call to give me this news and I requested to speak to Anna. Anna called me about 15 minutes later trying to tell me that I would be paying the $89 not the agreed to price online. I stated to her that was not going happen, and Anna preceded to continuously interrupt me and then she hung up on me. I was only a mile from her shop and drove over to speak to her in person. Anna told me to sit in a specific chair and proceeded to tell me that her pricing online was wrong, that she spent 8 hours a day trying to figure it out and I responded with that was not my problem. I scheduled per her request online and accepted the terms and pricing. She kept telling me that she could not talk to me as I was trying to explain to her that her lack of professionalism and attitude toward a customer was totally out of line. In the middle of a sentence she grabbed a dog that was on the floor and proceeded out the door, left me sitting there. I got up and followed her out of the building, still trying to get her to understand that what she was doing was not how one ran a business. I did tell her that she needed to come back to to earth and have some perspective. She said that she was canceling my appointments and I said that would be great and I would wait for them to be canceled to get a receipt. She then told me to get off her private property, which is not private when you run a public business. Anna is a very unprofessional business owner who used all sorts of ploys to get out of the situation she created. If she treats her customers this way to their face, how are the animals getting treated? I did receive my $50 reservation fee back, not the pre-paid tip. That will be handled differently if not returned. Spare yourself the wrath of Anna when she can't get her way.
PS...I went to the booking section today to see if she changed her pricing, now there is no pricing listed for services. read more
