Just left the store and was unimpressed with the store employee, she was very rude and lost out on the store gaining a customer and a puppy getting a home. I've been looking to get a puppy and when my fiancée and I drove by my fiancée pointed out the sign stating the store had chihuahua puppies. We walked in and there was an all white long hair chihuahua puppy left, $800 fee, which is steep I told my fiancée we didn't have to, the employee then butt into the conversation and said "it's the breeder that sets the price not us", well for one I know you up the price to get a profit (I didn't say this to her), I then asked if we can see her and again rudely she tells me "only if you're interested" I then tell her "obviously I was!". I took my cat in for a Bath and Brush. I talked to the groomer myself and asked for ONLY a bath and brush. When I picked him up the girl at the front desk said there would be no charge because the groomer had "clipped" his ear while he was there. I asked "How could he have been clipped with anything he was only there for a bath?!" (Also no one informed me he was hurt over the phone, just told me he was ready to be picked up) She said while they were clipping his nails he jerked his head and she got his ear. I immediately said "Why were they cutting his nails?!" "I asked to have him bathed and brushed only!" There were 3 employees present when I said it. Also "How could a nail clipper clip his ear?" She didn't respond. When I examined him, half of his ear had been jaggedly cut off and pieces of it were super glued back on. His nails had been cut all the way to the nub cutting his quicks on all paws, they were bloody, and he is still limping. I am beyond upset! His ear was obviously cut off with Hair Clippers not nail clippers. They should not have had anything sharp near him at all! I will NOT take any of my pets here ever again. read more

Everytime I've gone to this place, the groomer is yelling at the dogs she's grooming, and you can hear slapping sounds and yelping. Every time. I don't feel comfortable setting foot in this place, and wish I could inform the pet owners of the conditions in the back where their animals are taken to be groomed. Done coming here at all. read more

This place is a joke! They have no prices on their dog food. They use to have a list don't even have that anymore. A dog was being groomed in that back and all I could hear was the groomer screaming at the dog. It was very disturbing. I will drive 2 hours out of my way to Minot for my grooming and pet food. Plus they have no info on where the dogs they sell come from? Hmmmmm......... read more

Went into the store to buy pill pockets and see how much grooming for my two dogs was; when I walked in the store I was totally ignored by the girls in the store. They we're to busy gossiping. The store smelled really bad also. When I finally got one on the " sales" reps attention she was a bit abrasive. What the heck? I would not give these people a penny of money. read more

Terrible experience. I took my pup to be groomed, when she asked how I'd like her cut I told the groomer specifically what I wanted. She seemed out of focus and rushing me out because I seem to have inturupted the conversation she was having. Came to pick my pup up and she SHAVED her! Uneven cut, looks like she was in a rush doing it. I also asked that she trim her nails and she left them unfiled and ridged. I had a great experience the first time I got her groomed but after this result. I will not be trusting Paw Prints and Fish Tails to do anything again. 10/10 would not recommend. Groomers obviously cannot pay attention to detail. read more

I have been taking my dog to the groomers here for quite some time. The first few times I didn't have any problems with them, but lately I believe that they have gotten new groomers. The past two times I have taken my dog, he has come back to me injured. The first time it was some razor burn on his belly. Granted, this can happen so I didn't make a big deal out of it. However, they didn't inform me that it had happened and I happened to notice it when I brought him home. Then, just recently, I took him to be groomed. They said that they would call me when he was ready to be picked up. Two hours passed and I hadn't received a call. So I decided to call them and they told me that he was ready. No telling how long he'd been sitting there waiting for me to come get him. When I went to pick him up, no one assisted me. I had to get him out of the cage myself. I paid, left a tip, and went home, only to find out that my dogs ear had been cut! No one told me about it when I picked him up. I was furious. I called the store and spoke to the groomer who said that he "jerked" and that's what caused it to happen. No apology. She said they glued it and that I shouldn't have to take him to the vet. I did anyway because his ear was split in half! Vet bill was not expensive. They cleaned out the wound and re-glued it so that it will heal together. I am furious with this place for not telling me what happened when I picked him up. I will not be taking my dog back here ever. read more

THIS PET STORE SUCKS! The other day I walked in and saw that they were selling an oscar fish. The MINIMUM tank size an oscar should have is 40 gallons. They had him in like a 25 gallon tank. He was also almost full grown. They grow to be 14 inches. He looked really sad and depressed. I'm not saying they have to have him in a 40g tank but if you can't provide a good, comfortable, Temporary home for the fish you intend on selling then WHY sell it? There are plenty of other fish they could sell that would THRIVE IN A 25 gallon tank. Like tetras, rasboras, Danio fish and what not. That oscar was huge and in a tiny tank! He was living in his bathroom. They were ALSO selling an angel fish that looked like he was suffering. All of the color in there fish is just dull. They would brighten up and be more active and probably live a longer happier life if the people who sold them took care of them, and all I'm saying is that when customers who don't know about fish walk in and see that they think it's ok. And it's not, they think they'll buy it and keep it in the same size tank and it'll thrive but it won't. The LEAST THEY COULD DO IS PUT A SIGN ON EACH TANK SAYING THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF GALLONS THEY NEED IN THERE TANK PLUS THE COST OF A HEATER AND FILTER. They just shouldn't sell fish at all. Period. They obviously don't know how to take care of them. I feel bad for them. They also have bad customer service and the dogs are overpriced. read more
