If you are looking for a dumpster, look no further. The website was easy to use (& clearly explains guidelines) and the employees I dealt with were responsive and quick to deliver. Sometimes one is in a pinch to get a dumpster to clear out belongings in a home fast (especially given I no longer live in WI)- this company understands timeliness and cordiality. Beware.... you will be told your dumpster will be delivered between 6am and 6pm window only to find out it won't show up and the office is closed at 5pm and cannot talk to anyone. When the dumpster finally is dropped getting it picked up is just as frustrating, you are told it will be picked up that day, having to call numerous times. Finally a week later the dumpster has been picked up. Price was cheaper, you get what you pay for (be up front let the customer know that dumpster will not be picked up or dropped off) instead of leading on that it will be. And this was for junk removal. I refused of course and told him that I might give him a credit card payment the day before the job. I assume the customer experience depends a lot on which driver you get. My experience had some issues. The driver was supposed to call me before he dropped off the dumpster. He didn't call. I wanted to tell him how I wanted it placed but couldn't because he just dropped it. I did mark off the location. He left it only in the general area and as a result it blocked off the driveway. You would think he would have noticed that and pushed it back a bit further. If he had called I would have been there. read more

Absolutely TERRIBLE service and customer service. More than two weeks ago, we booked a dumpster with Milwaukee Dumpster to be delivered last Friday, the 15th. A woman called us about a week after we booked it, and asked if they could deliver it on the 14th for no additional charge. We said yes, of course! We literally cleared our schedule for all of last weekend and most of this week so that we could get a big project done. It obviously never showed up on Thursday. My husband called and they said it would be here sometime between 6 AM and 6 PM on Friday the 15th. My husband sat here all day waiting for it, since you have to be present at delivery. At 4:30 when their office closed and he was no longer able to speak to somebody, it wasn't here, and never did show up. Of course it wasn't delivered on Saturday and certainly wasn't delivered on Easter Sunday. He called first thing Monday morning. They at first told him that there had been a mixup with the delivery guys on Friday, and that it would be here Monday morning. Late morning rolled around and it still wasn't here so he called again. This time they told him that they actually did try to deliver it on Friday, but there was an obstruction making it impossible to deliver. Not only was there no obstruction, but our security camera proves that there was no delivery attempt. By afternoon, I said I was calling. The man who answered said "look lady, I don't need this, put your husband on the phone, I'll talk to him!" Excuse me? After I wouldn't put my husband on the phone with him like he told me to do, he hung up on me. I immediately called back and told him that if that happened again I would be posting about it on the Internet. He literally said I don't give a shit. He continued with more lies about when the dumpster would arrive. Mind you they had already charged my card for the full amount of almost $500. Finally at 4 o'clock we had had enough and told him cancel the dumpster and refund our money. Save the headaches and don't rent from Milwaukee Dumpster. read more

I have used them a few times and always dealt with Randy. Very good customer service With Randy. This last time, I had to deal with Jim and Alicia. Don't hire them! They claim to never have received my messages and picked up the dumpster Thursday when I told them Monday. I had people helping me finish on Saturday and Sunday and suddenly I was without a dumpster. Jim was so rude when I tried to resolve the situation. He claimed it was my responsibility to make sure they received my message to pick up on Monday. How was I supposed to know his phone system doesn't work? He was making up any stupid excuse to make this my fault somehow. He's mean and doesn't care about his customers. I needed to gut a property and found Milwaukee Dumpster Rental online. I called and the next day they delivered my dumpster. We quickly filled that one and I ordered one to swap it out, that was done in a timely fashion and now my 30 day rental is almost over and they extended the rental because we are not done using it yet. As a commercial user I have nothing but praise for this company. They pick up and drop off when, where and how I want. I can keep the dumpster for up to 30 days. I don't have to pay a delivery charge. They cover a large area of SE Wisconsin including a lot of the Fox Valley. There are no additional tonnage fees. I have used them several times and have never had any problems at all. I was a little apprehensive about placing the order online without actually talking to a person but it's worked flawlessly every time and it saves me $20.00. On a 30 yarder they can $100+ cheaper than the competition. read more

Beware before using (or attempting to use) this company. I called on March 9th inquiring about a 30yrd dumpster rental and wanted to reserve one. I was repeatedly encouraged to go online to order and, more importantly, "We have 30 yrd dumpsters all the time." Paraphrase. I stressed I had a time constraint and needed to ensure one would be available in about a month. No problem, we always have the 30yrds available. I called again on the 21st and was assured again, 30's always available. I was also reminded not to bother them and to order online and save $20. Unfortunately, having a reservation calendar is too high tech, so you either order it for the next day or Monday after a weekend, etc. So I was calculating exactly when I needed it delivered to correspond with my son coming to help with the demolition. So I go to order on the 28th and fill everything out. A little later, I receive a call from Milwaukee Dumpster Rental. You guessed it! We currently don't have any available! But WAIT, "You (your company) assured me you "always" had the 30s available. Different guy on the phone this time. He said maybe they could work some things around. He called back shortly and advised, "he had gone back and listened to the phone calls!" He said he just did not understand the "miscommunication. " So he tells me that he is leaving for the day (Wednesday around COB), but that the next morning (29th), someone would be calling me. Is anyone taking bets on that call? You guessed it, no call. So today, the 30th, I call them again, and they pull me up and, " Yes, your dumpster is going to be delivered today, the 30th between 6AM and 6 PM!!!!!! These people apparently think they work for the cable company!!!!! At the defense of cable installers, they never really know how complicated an install will actually be or how long it will take. This is Dumpster drop off for pete's sake! You drive there, maneuver, drop and leave! Calculate the distance from the yard to the location and add 1 hour for traffic and CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! So, as you can already imagine, 6PM came and went, no dumpster. I even asked if the driver could call me when en route when I spoke to the rep today. He said he did not see any "upcharge" for calling first. I'm not exactly sure what that was supposed to mean, but he told me the driver would call when he was an hour away. So, beware. The reviews on the MDR site are glowing. The employees practically walk on water according to every review. Nothing negative found....... on their site. However, go to YELP or another review site to find the truth. I wish I could say I must have contacted 1 employee, 1 day, and got some bad/incorrect info. But that isn't the case. I made very clear my time constraints and what I was doing and it was several calls on different days, and over the course of 2-3 weeks. They were more than happy to direct me to a substandard website to book and pay for their metal box so they did not have to do anything clerically except collect the $. Doing the work(renovations) I am doing myself while leaving for military duty and having to deal with this sort of unprofessionallism is unconscionable! Any question or concern I had was immediately addressed. I ordered a dumpster from Milwaukee Dumpster after calling a few different places. Their prices were slightly cheaper than the other quotes I received, by like $25. I ordered the dumpster that I needed for debris on a roofing job and some misc cleanout garbage. I needed it for a few days. Advanced disposal (Im assuming, that was what was on the dumpster) delivered a dumpster that had been filled with trash, lined with food, waste, and a million flies. It stunk to high heaven (not even sure if Milwaukee dumpster owns any dumpsters or just broker them out) Never the less, I began filling it up. Subsequently, I received a call from Jim telling me I had to pay an additional $140.00 for a permit. The permits are always included in the price I said. This lead to a heated argument. Jim said he was going to pick up the dumpster and that I needed to clean it out, I said that wasn't going to happen (meaning I wasn't going to clean it out). I went on vacation and Jim left several messages. Out of curiosity, I called him back when I got back to town. Jim claimed I now owed $190.00 for a 30 day permit. I didn't need it for thirty days. Jim's sloppy business practices left the dumpster there for longer than I needed it for. Before I left for vacation, I called the City of Milwaukee and at that time, they said no permit had been paid for with the address I had given. I don't even know if he ever paid for a permit. Since then he had been calling, seemingly trying to bully me (I don't even listen to his messages anymore, I just delete them). Someone even came to my door and left an invoice.. In my opinion, Jim may be used to bullying people, but that isn't going to work with me. And it's creepy how he shows up at my door instead of mailing. It seems to me, Milwaukee Dumpster must be very desperate, to pull an illegal bait and switch to make a few extra bucks, and I find it disgusting. Probably going to have to get a restraining order against Jim. If anyone shows up on my property again, they will be arrested for trespassing. Milwaukee dumpster is on a fast track to a lawsuit. Jims unprofessional conduct is really over the top. In my opinion, the 5 star rating they have was probably a friend because they were horrible. Over a dozen rentals never having a problem, it's not worth the $25 I saved. Do yourself a favor, go with a reputable company like Excel disposal read more
