Service is mediocre although the lady who helped me this morning made up for it with her attentiveness and smile. Friendly service makes a world of a difference! Ambiance is very modern&nice with a lot of seating. Some menu items offered 24 hrs. Also, nice selection of popular Indian dishes.

Do not be surprised that I'm giving it 5-stars for the first review. I loved my food here…read more I was back in the UK for my graduation and my parents were staying at the Holiday Inn where this restaurant is located and so we went here for a spot of lunch. Absolutely delicious. When we entered it was quite noisy as a conference group was just finishing up but before we knew it they had left and it was quiet. Like most restaurants in the UK these days the wait-staff is mostly foreign and although they might have a little trouble understanding you, patience is due; they are friendly and absolutely fabulous at what they do. The menu is nice with a good range of options. They gave us a selection of breads to start, all excellent (I was hungry so I tried them all) and our appetizers followed shortly. To start I had the scallops, moist, a good size and lovely. For my main meal I had the "Pork 2-ways". Which was really Pork 4 ways. It included medallions of tenderloin, pork belly, bacon and crackling over a bed of pasta (check out the picture I uploaded). Delicious, very filling to the point that if you ever have a last pork meal ever, this should be it. It is on the pricier side but this restaurant isn't pretending to be pricey like some might do. Give it a try if you want a nice meal out. Bonus: clean bathrooms are always a plus.

But in the interests of widening my culinary tastes, I ventured to the Loch Fyne restaurant in Wokingham. Located on the main road out of Wokingham with plenty of parking, the restaurant is a nice change to the Italian restaurants that clutter the high street. The decor is upmarket, with an iced fish counter on the right and comfortable, clean seating areas. We were greeted with a smile and plenty of chat from the waitress which was a positive start. She also gave us her personal recommendations and had a clear understanding of everything on the menu, which is always a good sign. The menu is very much fish based, although there are a couple of alternative options including steaks and duck for the non-fish fans. I ordered the potted shrimp with crusty bread to start, followed by....the steak. Baby steps eh? The shrimp was delicious with the warm toasted bread, and the steak was perfectly cooked. I didn't have chips with mine but a few of the friends I was dining with did and they were delicious. Overall, the excellent service, high quality food and decent serving time secured this restaurant a place in my 'must-visit' list. It's not cheap, but you're paying for quality.

I had the smoked salmon appetizer and the Whole Sea Bass pan fried. I enjoyed both meals. I had broccoli and a summer salad with my fish. The fish was well prepared, flaky, well cooked. The waiter was very attentive with drinks for our group of 8. I would say just about everyone enjoyed their meal. The only negative for our group was tuna being overcooked. People were expecting it to be cooked rare and it was cooked through. Other than that, everyone enjoyed the appetizer and entrees. Several people got the mixed grill. They had a special mussel appetizer people very much enjoyed. Service was attentive, and overall good ( better than average ).
