The friendly and efficient manager Jesus, was kind enough to move my request to priority so my phone got fixed fast for a good price (75CAD). I drive back home happy. Then comes the end of the day. The battery level drops and the phone shuts down. I tried all the methods described on all the websites you can imagine to start it back... nothing. Next morning I call the store and they offer me to come. But I dont leave downtown and it's too much drive. They propose me to go to the closest store. Good news, one just opened on Meadowvale! The team there understood the situation, took good care of my phone in a short time. Then when they give it back to me... the volume buttons are not working anymore. Start to be a little tired of all that. They ordered the part and fixed it for free the next day. As a conclusion, price and service are really good. Took to WI to have a look and it turned out there was some corrosion on the contacts (due to the fact that the screen had lifted and I had just taped it down and then got lazy when it eventually wore off the tape.... hence letting the moisture in... ugh.). the Screen was fixed the same day! Anyway, after that, the next day I discovered that the microphone wasn't working - that was quickly diagnosed and repaired (no charge) and then when the keyboard wasn't working (the following day), that too was repaired promptly and without charge. The guys are positive, honest and stand behind their work. No blaming. The only advice I would offer, is to ensure that a complete function check is done before the phone leaves the shop,.. I had to give them half of that ($50) so they would order the part. They kept me apprised every step of the way, and accurately managed my expectations. Then met them. When they received the part, I dropped off my phone. They helped me put it into maintenance mode; so my apps and data were protected. Yay! I got a call when the phone was ready. They took less than the hour and a half they had advised me it might take. I was able to pick it up on my way out for the evening.
