This was not just another overnight stay--it was a true experience. From the moment you walk in, every room feels absolutely perfect and instantly relaxing. Denise and Bob, the wonderful couple who own the B&B, are the best kind of people--warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. Their hospitality alone makes this place special. The beauty and exquisite attention to detail throughout the entire mansion and its grounds transports you straight back to the Victorian era. The balance of femininity and masculinity in the design is spot-on--elegant, refined, and incredibly comfortable. Our room was spacious and peaceful. The bed was very comfortable, and the claw-foot tub in the bathroom was fantastic--a highlight of the stay. Breakfast was outstanding. We enjoyed coffee and orange juice, followed by a parfait made with fresh berries from the garden, topped with vanilla Greek yogurt and granola. The main course was a creative twist on quiche with eggs, spinach, and cherry tomatoes from the garden, paired with potatoes and flavorful venison sausage. Everything was perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious. Milton Parker B&B exceeded every expectation. If you're looking for something truly special, this is the place. If you want to experience true Southern hospitality - this is the place! Denise and Bob were the kindest and most amazing hosts. They were there to greet us when we came in, gave us the history of the beautiful house, and made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable. The room was nice and cool and the beds very comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely delicious (my mother and I had berry overnight oats and my dad had scrambled eggs). There was also warm kolach pastry (I recommend the apple - delicious). Truly a one of a kind experience - 10/10 recommend! read more

M & I had talked about getting out of town for a while. Away from the large clusters of people in DFW. He found the Milton Parker Home for us to stay for our getaway for our fifth anniversary. I'd never been to Bryan and was looking forward to a getaway weekend. We arrived early and was happy we could check in. We were happily greeted by Denise and two doodles. It felt like home the moment we walked in! We got a tour of the Mansion and heard some wonderful stories of the home. To think the house is 136 years old!! Denise and Bob have owned it for five years...that was meaningful to us that we were celebrating a five year milestone as well. The furniture and little details of the home are just amazing! We loved our room upstairs. The windows with the beautiful light coming in. The bed was so comfortable. And the claw foot jacuzzi tub was a treat. It stormed the first night we were there and I am impressed with how quiet this home is....didn't really hear much of the storm! You'll hear the train--after all the tracks are right next to the house. I just laughed and I won't spoil the reason why. It wasn't a big deal and I for sure didn't lose any sleep over it. I haven't mentioned breakfast yet...and I'm not about to leave that out! Breakfast was SO DELICIOUS! Walking into the dining room and the table set up for us to sit near the picture window. Coffee, juice, ice water...our first breakfast was breakfast enchiladas with Kentucky grits, sausage and fruit. Sunday morning was a torta with grilled pineapple, peach French toast casserole and a delicious smoothie. I can't wait for a Parker House Cookbook (hint hint lol). It was enough to hold us while we enjoyed a day of shopping downtown on Saturday. It started to rain as the stores were closing on Saturday. We decided to go back to the house. That evening we were the only guests so we grabbed a couple of adult beverages and sat in the parlor to watch tv. We cannot say how nice it was to just sit and not worry about chores around the house, work, or anything. Sunday morning after breakfast we sat outside with our coffee and enjoyed the scenery and the sounds of the birds. Several great places for morning coffee or evening beverages at the home. We enjoyed our conversations with Denise and Bob. We feel like we made new friends that we can't wait to see again. Their hospitality and care make for a wonderful stress-free visit. The pups are super sweet too. Just don't tell Ella because she will be jealous! Just absolutely beautiful historic home. Comfortable rooms. Delicious breakfast. Fantastic hosts. Must say we felt pampered all weekend. We look forward to visiting again. read more

I graduated from Texas A&M University in May of 2018. I was fortunate enough to be able to have my graduation party at the LOVELY Milton Parker Home. The party was held on the lawn of the B&B, and guests and myself VERY much enjoyed the atmosphere and environment. Set up was made easy, as tables and chairs were provided. The owner, Denise, kindly gave me free reign to set up and decorate as I pleased. My mother and I continue to receive compliments on the location and party to this day. The interior of the home, the same as the exterior and lawn, is gorgeous. As I walked from room to room I could not help but say WOW with a continuous jaw drop. The Victorian-style home is incredibly cozy and has been renovated to ensure utmost comfort for guests. You are sure to have a wonderful time at Milton Parker Home, and the owners will help make your stay as easy and comforting for you! Stayed here during the power outage the lady was super nice and was happy to have us. It has heated floors, a heater and air condition but it was freezing outside so we used the heater the whole time it also has roku so you can watch Netflix. They bring homemade muffins and leave food inside the fridge and has chickens I think so there's wild eggs that make the experience awesome. There's a modern/rustic experience to the place and it's pretty cool. And a plus side I'm a A&M fan and the place has A&M written all over it , which is pretty cool. read more

I HIGHLY recommend Milton Parker Home Bed & Breakfast! Our family celebrated my daughter's A&M graduation in the lawn area of Milton Parker Home. Denise was very accommodating and kind. The area was pretty and the set up of tables and chairs was really nice. The honoree / about to be graduate and the guests had a great time and raved about the party facilities. Though I have not spent the night at Milton Parker Home, I hope to do so as soon as possible. I have toured the bed and breakfast, and the rooms and bathrooms are exquisitely furnished. The den and living room are quaint and nicely decorated. There is a brand new kitchen with good food. It is very clean. Denise and Bob are the perfect hosts. I would give Milton Parker Home more than five stars if it was possible. read more
