But I've always known TWM has way better selection. Walking in, honestly, the sheer variety kind of overwhelmed me at first. That said, the aisles were laid out really well, so once I got my bearings it was easy to browse around by type. That's about when Justin, the floor/wine manager, came over and asked if I needed a hand. He ended up walking me through a bunch of different spirits, taking the time to actually explain things rather than just pointing at bottles. What I appreciated most was that he wasn't pushy at all - no upselling, just genuinely helpful recommendations. That's honestly what got me to trust his suggestions, and I walked out with more than I planned on buying. Zero regrets, though.

I'm a simple beer drinker and the selection is enough to keep me happy. More so, the beer prices definitely keep my wallet happy! I always pay with cash; credit cards are a sham and I don't like using my debit card pin anywhere but where I bank. I'm cautiously paranoid. Check-out is as pleasant as check-in, always thrown a 'good night' or 'have a good evening'. May sound silly, but it makes a difference in my book. I've lived in Milpitas for about 5 years and have visited nearly all the liquor stores within the vicinity of the library. I prefer this little spot best for prices and the welcoming environment. I know where to spend my hard earned cash.
