Ate lunch with Friends and wanted to try something new so we tried Milos. There was no wait! They have dining inside and outside ! There menu is not large but the basic lunch menu ! OMG! This is the best place ever! My husband and I decided to go to Boulder City for a day trip (from Vegas) and ended up staying the night. We've been coming to Boulder City now for over 10 years and didn't want our time to end. Boulder City has So many quaint places, antique shops, food, and more. I asked about the Inn and to my surprise there was an opening. The price was reasonable. The rooms were great and comfy. The best part was the terrace upstairs. There is a waterfall, outdoor fire pit, BBQ grill and individual seating outside our room (see video). Our breakfast was yummy and I topped it off with a morning mimosas. "Mary" was a fantastic hostess and gave us great info about Boulders City. I love this little place with its European charm! You'll love it too. read more

Such a wonderful place to relax and rejuvenate. My husband and I stayed here for a night with our dogs and it was amazing. Room was very clean. Bed was comfortable, wifi was great, it was very quiet even though it's located in the middle of downtown. AC worked perfectly, and we enjoyed the huge tub. On top of that, breakfast is made in the morning just for you! We had complimentary mimosas, eggs, bacon, salad, yogurt, and tiramisu that we took home. Overall, very cozy place for vacation and will be back again! We were able to walk to a few different brewery and bars, without feeling unsafe. Highly recommended. read more

First I will excuse part of this review due to it being Art in the Park Day since that is the only reason I can see why we got the service we got. With that said..... Considering the crowd, we were seated rather quickly. The hostess brought us menus and our utensils right away. It took a few minutes for the server to get to us, which was understandable. When she did come to us, she was rather 'short' with us. "Are you ready to order or should I come back" as she started to turn away. We quickly said that we were ready and ordered our beverages and food. Our drinks were delivered pretty quick and due to the crowd it take a bit longer than normal to get our food. That was fine and totally understandable. But what was the kicker was, one person in our party ordered the Cultured Cowboy Salad. The server wrote it down and off she went with our order. When our food was brought to the table, the Cultured Cowboy Salad was served with no roasted chicken as described in the menu. We couldn't get the servers attention so talked to the hostess about it. She said she would be right back and she didn't return. But than the manager came over and asked what the problem was. The party that ordered the salad said, "I ordered the Cowboy Salad and it didn't come with the roasted chicken". The hostess said, "we ran out of chicken, sorry. Would you like turkey for it?". It was that question that made my respect level for Milo's drop a few notches. So, I will ask.... If you were out of roasted chicken why wasn't that told to the customer and give her a chance to order something else? The server must know what that salad normally looks like, so why would you drop a $16 salad in front of a customer with no meat and not say anything at all? And if you want to offer turkey after the fact, how's about actual turkey breast, not turkey lunchmeat? Milo's I know for a fact you can do so much better. read more

Such a great find and experience! Gorgeous atmosphere, very romantic, rooms were clean, special touches provided by staff and the patio right outside our room with waterfall, koi pond and of course the friendly turtles! Such a beautiful place and you walk down stairs into the restaurant and bar with such friendly staff and excellent wine! Breakfast is served each morning right outside your room prepared especially for you! Pauline and Jennifer were especially nice and friendly and took very good care of us. The bartender Cami was awesome as well! Can't say enough about this awesome place, staff and town! Boulder City and Milo's are definitely hidden gems! read more

We just had the best 2 night stay at Milos! Our room (there are just four of them) was gorgeous and luxurious, the courtyard is a colorful, beautiful, private little oasis that just begs to be relaxed in (waterfall fountain, fire pit, koi pond & friendly turtles who'll eat out of your hand), and they've got just the most friendly innkeeper & staff, too. We were particularly delighted and impressed when, after we informed our host that we we had made prior breakfast plans next door at the Coffee Cup cafe, we returned later to find a complimentary bottle of wine chilling in our room since technically breakfast was part of the price of our stay and they wanted to compensate us - how fantastic is that? And it was great wine, too! By all means, should you find yourself in Boulder City, do yourself a favor and book yourself a room for a night or two at Milos - it's wonderful! read more

This is DEFINITELY a place to spend a night or two! Beautiful? Check! Romantic? CHECK-a-ROO! Didn't want to leave? Cha Cha Cha CHEEEECK! I used this place as an excuse to head north so I could surprise my BF with a stop at Bullets & Burgers. I have to confess, this place was sort of a secondary target.... However, I know we will go visit here again, for a romantic couple's weekend. The rooms are GORGEOUS and LUSH with rich color; the bed was very comfortable, the huge tub was fabulous! I felt we had stepped into Italy. My only disappointment was the breakfast: the choices were very limited, and it ended up being a microwaved frittata. The coffee was a 'gourmet' local roast - way too strong for me, much like the over-roasted Starbuck's type. I drink east African coffee (Kenya, Rwanda) and they are much more flavorful. The crown jewel of this place, tho, is not the room or the bed (which, I would go back for anyway!), but the extraordinary garden/sitting area for the guests. This place only has 4 rooms and they do tend to poo-poo children, so it truly is a place for adults. But the garden..... It was so incredibly beautiful, so wondrously full of life and so reverently secluded from everything else.... Walled off, spectacularly staged, and ever so romantic. It is private, and only for the use of the guests. We looked at each other and both knew, one day when we build the Dream House, we will have one of these. This is a stand out B&B. If you love B&Bs, be sure to spend a weekend here. read more

Really enjoyed our stay here. Loved the large room with a big jet tub and fireplace. The patio had a koi pond, a fire pit, and lots of greenery. My mum and I live in Vegas and we came here for a Mother's Day staycation! We were blown away by this adorable bed and breakfast. We wanted to sit out in that courtyard all day and night. It was so relaxing and cozy. Boulder City was a lovely getaway. We walked the historic railroad trail, shopped, ate dinner at Milos, and got some fudge next door. We came back to our little oasis and loved sipping on a glass of wine, listening to the waterfall, and watching the fish and turtles swim around in the pond. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. The bathtub is huge with jets! Breakfast is from 7:30-9:30 and was served right outside our room. Coffee, juice, and fruit was waiting for us when we woke up. When they noticed we were awake, they made us a delicious spinach and egg frittata and brought it up to us. This was included in the price. We can't wait to come back. read more

Well it was a rocky star on our special Valentine's overnight stay and dinner our children gave us at Milo's inn, however the inns keeper and the restaurant went completely out if their way to make sure our night was super special! Just a mix up with the reservations but was quickly fixed and we were on our way to such a WONDERFUL VALENTINES DAY!! The INN run by Pauline was awesome! Beautiful terrace right outside our room so very peaceful, room nice & clean and romantic with a fireplace!!! The restaurant (run separately ) was wonderful! Service was outstanding! The dinner was chateaubriand for 2 and couldn't have been better! The meat was super tender, could cut with a butter knife! We met the owner of Milo's Inn who was also very nice & personable! It was a great stay! And Boulder City was a great place to visit! The whole experience was definitely 2 thumbs up! Can't wait to go back! read more

Such a quaint, friendly spot! We really enjoyed the staff and they have breakfast ready in the morning. The rooms are clean and you can hear the fountain from your room. You feel removed from what is going on the street but you walk down the stairs and you are on one of the main streets. read more

This was the cutest little B&B! The rooms were so cute and clean. We had a fireplace and jacuzzi in our room but no shower. So if you want a shower you have to sit in the jacuzzi tub and use the hand held shower head. They had a fantastic free breakfast the next morning. It's also a wine bar with delicious meals and specials throughout the week. The beds are only queen size so that was our biggest problem. We had a wonderful anniversary get away there. Boulder City itself is such a relaxing place to visit. I always feel like I'm time traveling when I'm there. Milo's Inn at Boulder makes it even better, by being a wonderful place to extend your stay. We stayed here while attending the Dam Short Film Festival this year. The B&B is just steps away from all the action at Milo's Cellar and the main drag, but once you walk up the stairs you're transported to a private, tranquil and beautiful oasis. The courtyard has everything you could desire while on vacation - grill, refrigerator, fire pit, koi pond with waterfall. No expense has been spared in the rooms, giant jacuzzi tub, granite counters - and the soundproofing is excellent. Very comfy bed - my friend and I both sleep on Tempurpedics, so we are picky about our mattresses! We appreciated the pretty fireplace as well as the ceiling fan in our suite. Delicious granola and fresh fruit start you off in the mornings, followed by wonderful daily entrees. Eric was a wonderful host. read more

this place is amazing. the price is reasonable for comparable bed and breakfasts. the in room hot tub is great. we had EXCELLENT customer service. the staff was friendly and accommodating. we forgot about our breakfast in the morning and they saved us a plate - and when i tried to purchase 2 lattes from the cafe they included the drinks as part of our free meal, when every other hotel would charge you an arm and a leg for every single service and item. the rooms are cute, cozy, and clean. the hot tub inside is great and the beds are soft. the rooms open up to a quaint courtyard where you can relax around a firepit, bbq some meats, or go to an outdoor hot tub. i really like that there were only 4 rooms so we weren't bothered by other guests. the wine bar and cafe downstairs are fantastic too. great wines and vibe. i would definitely return as milo's takes great care of it's customers, providing a cool getaway at cheap prices. read more

I love this little coffee shop in Boulder! The coffee was delicious, and they have a long list of fresh breads and pastries for snackies! The staff was nice enough to walk us around the property and give us a flyer for the b&b as she overheard us discussing our upcoming anniversary. We stayed here after a day at hoover dam. This place is really cute and its in a nice walking area. The room was clean and had everything we needed (except a kettle to make tea, but most hotels don't have that). We stayed in the Beaujolais room on the courtyard. The waterfall in the courtyard made a relaxing rain sound. The room had a giant bathtub with water jets which was great as we had been hiking in joshua tree and the grand canyon before our day at the hoover dam. The breakfast in the morning was generous and delicious. We ate in the restaurant as it was too cold in the courtyard. Mary sat us by the fire, there was a great selection of tea for me and coffee for my husband. We really appreciated the personalized service. The WIFI was good, the heater worked well, the bed was comfy, and the room was quiet. just all around a great place. read more

What a wonderful place. We rode here from Las Vegas in the afternoon. It's an easy ride from LV, and Boulder City is a quaint little town, obviously with the Dam draw, but can hold its own. Milo's Inn is a small (just a few rooms) independent inn on the main strip and you would never know it was thee in the back. We stopped, had a bit to eat and the Wine Bar, and settled into the room upstairs. The room itself is well appointed. The room fronts a gorgeous courtyard where they prepare your breakfast for you overlooking a coy pond, playful turtles, and grape vines. You come outside and your name is on the breakfast table, greeting you to a wonder breakfast. Pauline was a WONDERFUL host, always smiling and cheerful. Attentive and a good cook are a rare combination. read more

My husband and I stayed here for our wedding weekend and we loved it. Our wedding was not a large affair, but included several events spread over four days and many out of town guests. Coming back to our oasis at Milo's Inn every night was heaven. We stayed in the Chianti room, and found it to be everything it was advertised to be. The tub is fantastic, the bed supremely comfortable and the remote controlled heating/air conditioning system was exactly what the doctor ordered. Don't forget to look for the turtles in the koi pond, and do stay for breakfast - the Grand Marnier French Toast is amazing. Eric and the rest of the staff offer impeccable service without being stuffy and we loved the secluded atmosphere of the Inn - truly a world away. read more
