I don't think it's a coincidence that his studio is right next to Frank Pepe's. I only spent one photoshoot with Paul, but that was enough to know that Paul is a genuine talent and human. I needed headshots for residency applications and hadn't gotten professional photos in at least a decade. He happily accepted my fiancée and I into his studio (which is virtually a photography museum), showed us his vast works, and talked to us about travel and football. He is deliberate in his work, making sure to capture my natural smile and angles. He kept us both relaxed and entertained throughout nearly 200 shots that flew by. Mr. Duda is an expert and I was surprised to have access a professional of his talent. His experience is palpable and we were both impressed with his works that have been exhibited in museums and published in books. The post-process went by even faster. Paul had the proofs to me within days and the edits done within a week of the session. He was responsive to any changes, but didn't overdue the retouching, which I appreciate. The photos came out marvelously. My mother, fiancée, and many friends and family loved them! His website is professional and clean. Good pictures start from being at ease and Carrie will definitely put you at ease. Even from the first consultation, she makes you feel like you are the only client and the only one that matters. Her pictures are amazing and every now and then she'll say "Let me try something" - those will be the best pictures. One thing I was not expecting was for her to help me draw up a timeline for the day. I didn't have a wedding planner and kind of cobbled it all together myself. Carrie, based on all her experience, advised me on getting hair and makeup done earlier (she was right), having the flowers delivered earlier (she was right again - especially since the delivery was running late), and leaving earlier to get to the church. As she said, no bride has ever complained about being too early. I wasn't too early at any stage and her timeline actually prevented me from being late and stressed out. The second photographer she came with (Dan) was just as great. After meeting him for the first time on the day of the wedding, I was instantly at ease with him in under 5 mins. I was in a bit of a crunch because my fiancee is in the military, and I wanted to take pictures before he went back overseas. I talked to Stephanie over the phone before the photoshoot to go over the location, and the type of photos I was looking for in the session. She was professional and very accommodating. She arrived early to check out the location I had picked, and we talked about some ideas beforehand and during the session. It was my first time taking formal pictures in public like this, so I was nervous, but she made us feel very comfortable. At the end I was so happy with the results, the picture came out were AMAZING!! Fast forward to wedding planning (2019). . . I contacted Steph and Tim. I felt so comfortable during the engagement photoshoot with her, that there was no one else in mind to photograph my wedding. During the wedding process we talked about pricing (she was very fair), and the types of photos I wanted. During the wedding she was very patient, kind, and professional.
