I found her online when I was pregnant, and with our twins being born two months early, their "newborn photos" were taken when they were just over two months old. Kat was extremely accommodating from the get go, not caring about the date being pushed out and only focused on the twins recovery in the NICU. The session went beyond any expectations we had and we dubbed her "the baby whisperer". Ever since then, I couldn't imagine going to anyone else for photos. Kat has now photographed the twins for their newborn session, one year family pics, two year family pics, and various mini sessions, for Mother's Day and two Christmases. She is so relaxed while she works that it's impossible to not immediately be relaxed once in her presence (which is huge for someone like me, who gets nervous before any family pics). My children gravitate to her and open up to her in a way that I rarely see with other people! You get what you pay for, and Kat is worth every penny. The quality of her work, the way she interacts with my children, and the amazing photographs we will cherish forever make each session worth it. Her turn around time is always accurate, but usually ahead of schedule, and she will provide sneak peeks. Having lost my mom the year before my children were born, I now know just how important photographs are. I'm thrilled we found the perfect photographer on the first try, and I hope she never retires, because I want her taking their senior pics and beyond! She is incredible and a master of her craft. My husband and I could not be more impressed with the caliber of her work, and most importantly, who she is as a person - kind, fun, relaxed, family oriented, and genuine. You will NEVER regret hiring Kat!!! I now recommend her to anyone that will listen.

It took my breath away and I called her the next day to book her for my family. She and Ofer did an amazing job with our kids, they really have a way of putting them at ease and eliciting the best from them. My son was in a really cranky mood and I was sure we were just going to get a bunch of him scowling. Nothing I was doing was working to bring him out of his mood. Emily and Ofer were so relaxed and calm and accepting of my son's mood, that it put me at ease and by default, my son. We got some fantastic pictures! Emily and Ofer are really exceptional people as well, and they LOVE what they do. I am always amazed at the pictures that they take because they often uncover something that you might not have noticed about a person, a place or the combination of the factors. What emerges is beauty. I also LOVE that they give you the photos so you can use them in so many ways. In this day of technology, I love having the freedom to use the photos online, in picture gifts & however else I see fit. It really is fantastic! I recommend Emily to EVERYONE without reservation! She is wonderful and you truly can see the best in people when she and Ofer photograph them!

Chelsea was super fantastic. We had been scouring Craigslist for an affordable engagement…read morephotographer, and not only did Chelsea have the best prices, but she also had good quality work. She was very communicative with us over email about setting up the session. We wanted to do our pictures at the Palace of Fine Arts and Baker Beach / Golden Gate Bridge. Just like typical San Francisco, the city was covered in heavy fog the week leading up to our engagement shoot. I really appreciated that Chelsea suggested we do a sunrise photo shoot. In the end, Chelsea was flexible to delay this a couple hours to allow the fog to lift a bit more. I was really happy that Chelsea made the suggestion to do the early hour shoot, because while getting up super early doesn't sound all that fun, our pictures turned out way better because of it. We didn't have to worry about working around people to avoid them showing up in pictures because there was no one else around in the early morning. I would highly recommend a morning shoot if you have the option. Chelsea also made us feel comfortable from the beginning and we had a really fun time with the shoot. She didn't put a hard stop time on the photo shoot; on the contrary, she listened to what shots we were wanting and did those and more until we had everything covered. It was very evident that she knew what she was doing from the way Chelsea was positioning us and the care she was taking in lining her camera up with the background scenery and lighting. We felt really good coming out of the shoot, but you can never really know for sure how successful the shoot was until you see the photos. Chelsea sent us a preview of a few photos later that day which was really nice since we were so excited to see the end result. We got a USB flash drive in the mail about two weeks later with the rest of our edited photos. They turned out really really great. I have no idea how we'll decide which photo to use for our Save the Dates since we love so many of them. Chelsea is super talented and easy to work with. I am blown away with the high quality of photos and service we got for such a reasonable price. Definitely give her a shot if you're in the market for a photographer.
