Disclaimer: if you read all terms of your Groupon deal you will not be hit with any surprises. Even without the Groupon deal I would purchase from Millionaire Cupcakes again. First off, Debra was so helpful!! I had to change delivery times twice due to work conflicts and she was very understanding and worked with me to find a time that worked for me. She showed up on time and the cupcakes looked delicious. I ordered 24 (12 Strawberry Daquiri & 12 White Chocolate Champagne) cupcakes and they did not disappoint. I was supposed to drive all 24 of them down to my family in Alabama but couldn't help myself, and ate a White Chocolate Champagne one within 10 minutes of being on the road. I am trying so hard not to eat another one right now! If you need delicious cupcakes for a girls night, a family get together, or just to enjoy yourself- I recommend Millionaire Cupcakes! read more

Shout out to Debra and Millionaire Cupcakes for the delicious infused cupcakes and professional service this weekend! Ordering was simple and service was prompt. The cupcakes were delicious and perfectly sized. Peach Bourbon, Crown Royal Vanilla and Red Berry Ciroc. #blackowned read more

How are the cupcakes? I wouldn't know since they never delivered! I placed an order for specialty St. Patty's Day cupcakes a week in advance. My order was paid and confirmed, twice. St. Patty's Day came and I had a big party. I had made non alcoholic cupcakes myself, but was depending on this order for the rest of them. 4 pm came....5....6 pm... and I started calling. Many calls over and over, and all I finally got was a voicemail message. It was totally unprofessional, rude, and poorly recorded. The message basically said that if you has not received your order by March 16th, you weren't getting it at all. So anyone that placed a (confirmed and paid!) order for the 17th, SOL!!!! After that (and 20+ disappointed people) I could never even get a returned phone call or a refund. 2 weeks later I managed to get a "store credit." whoppee! The worst part is that she obviously knew about her failure days in advance but did not bother to call or email. If she had I could have made them myself and saved the disappointment and trouble. read more

Ok so here's the thing... If you purchase a voucher through a deal site you will get hit with an additional fee and gratuity. That doesn't sit well with me, because none of this is stated on the voucher, at least not the one I had. I paid it anyway because I was taking this dessert to my friend's party but I won't be doing business with this company again. As for the product... the cupcakes were a little salty. Not horrible cupcakes, but not worth the bait-n-switch aggravation. read more

I placed my order weeks ago. I received multiple confirmation emails from the company. Delivery was confirmed to be between 12 and 2pm today. It is 4pm and I have not heard from or seen them. I have sent multiple emails and left voicemails but have not received a response. I will update on whether or not I get a full refund but reading the other reviews I am NOT hopeful. Should have checked yelp before I ordered from this poor excuse of a company. update... Debra called a little bit before 5, after I had left work. She asked me to drive in the opposite direction and meet her downtown. After I said no, she offered to bring them to my home in the morning. She brought them on time the next morning, however, the cupcakes were inedible. The icing was ok but the cake itself had a sour offputting taste. Debra offered me a free dozen if i liked these. I will not be taking her up on that offer. Amazon local was able to refund me the full price of my certificate. Millionaire Cupcakes has not refunded the $7 in tax and gratuity that was charged to me after i placed the order. read more

I am unable to give a review on the product, but the CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS! After purchasing the Groupon, I went to the Millionaire Cupcakes website where after quite a search I found that all vouchers/coupons/Groupons would incur a tax as well as a 20% gratuity on all orders. So actually, there is no FREE DELIVERY and Millionaire Cupcakes feels they can tell you how much of a gratuity they deserve for services yet to be rendered. I think Millionaire Cupcakes is trying to re-coup whatever discount they've agreed to with the ADDITIONAL FEES. All of us that purchase Groupons low that when we go out to eat, we pay tax and a gratuity (normally more than 20%) but we are NEVER DEMANDED ahead of receiving service or product of any amount we MUST PAY (via PayPal, not Groupon.) See the communications we shared below and decide for yourself if you'd want to do business....??? Me to Millionaire Cupcakes: I purchased this Groupon to have cupcakes delivered on Saturday, May 10, 2014. I am flying in town from Los Angeles for a graduation that weekend for my niece at Emory University. In the "fine print" of the Groupon, there is NO MENTION of ANY ADDITIONAL FEES as stated above (I contacted them directly via their website) for "tax and gratuity". Please advise. Debra Coleman from Millionaire Cupcakes: PLACE YOUR ORDER HERE (include merchant name and voucher number, delivery date requesting, delivery address, specific name of building or complex, phone no., and cupcake flavor I look forward to hearing from you soon as to whether you will honor what is stated on the Groupon voucher. Me back to Millionaire Cupcakes: Thank you.I will request a refund from Groupon. I was not familiar with your state tax in GA, nor that you are legally allowed to set gratuity as you please. Here in California gratuity is just that, "a gift of money, over and above payment due for service, as to a waiter or bellhop ; tip. 2. something given without claim or demand". Your blatant "demand for a specific amount of tax and also "gratuity" puts a very sour taste in my mouth to do business with you. Thanks anyway. I immediately called Groupon and explained how I felt about paying tax (on cupcakes, really?- Groupon too was surprised!) and also on being told how much gratuity to pay! GROUPON AGREED, APOLOGIZED and immediately issued me a refund. read more

I ordered infused cupcakes from Debra as a surprise for my friend last year and they were great! Debra delivered them to the AirBnB that we stayed at and was completely professional. If I'm ever in ATL again I'll definitely order again! read more

I also purchased a voucher. No email was returned to me, only a bill, with no explanation as to what it was. I sent a couple more emails asking for an explanation, then received a RUDE one back when I said I wanted to cancel. No food service will survive with that kind of customer service. The owner seems like she's got a chip on her shoulder....no cupcake is worth THAT!! Geez... read more

I purchased a half off depot deal and had the cupcakes delivered for my birthday. The ordering process was easy; I filled in my order and voucher information in the "contact us" section. She delivered the cupcakes promptly (I was still on the plane, but she delivered them to the hotel front desk) and called me to confirm their delivery. As a bonus, these were the best cupcakes I've ever had! I tried the b-52s and peach moscatos. I will be using millionaire cupcakes again! read more

I let my coupon expire so I paid the full amount for marginal cupcakes. When order was delivered it was the wrong order and she sent me a coupon for another dozen. I asked them to be delivered a week after her coupon expired so I could have them on my birthday and she would not honor her own coupon. Not a good person to do business with. read more

Alcohol infused cupcakes sound like a good idea, and it could work but the cupcakes were really dry and the frostIng is thick and hard. Cupcakes tasted like they had been refrigerated for days. Buy some cupcakes from Publix, get a bottle of rum and save some money. read more

These are the best cupcakes I have ever had! I had the Pink Champagne, Red Berry, and Lime Margarita and the were absolutely the best. Me and my coworkers really enjoyed them. Debra responded to my emails right away and delivery was perfect. Keep up the good work, I will be ordering from you again for sure! read more

I bought a voucher for a dozen alcohol-infused cupcakes with delivery. The order process was very easy, but I didn't realize I would have to pay tax and gratuity when I bought the voucher. I probably just didn't read the fine print, so I'll own that one. The cupcakes were good. I ordered the B-52s and strawberry daiquiri cupcakes. They tend to crumble a little more than some, but they're soft and moist. I shared them with my coworkers and everyone loved them. The frosting was a little soft when they arrived, but it firmed up after sitting in the fridge for a few minutes. Overall, I will likely order again. read more

Delightful! My beautiful coworker told us a month ago that we needed to try these cupcakes. Today, she surprised us with the Pink Champagne, Red Berry, and Lime Margarita ones. Thank God she did! Thank you beautiful coworker and thank you Millionaire Cupcakes! What a wonderful way to start the day! :) read more

Debra was absolutely amazing to work with. The cupcakes were delivered today. The first one we tried was the Bourbon Pecan cupcake. The cupcake was light and fluffy. The icing was very flavorable. You could taste just a hint of the bourbon which was perfect. I will definitely be ordering more cupcakes in the future for myself and my business associates. read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! When I lived in Atlanta I used every birthday that came up as an excuse to get the alcohol infused cupcakes. I ordered so many times that even now the owner still remembers me. Till this very day I buy an order for my bff back in Atlanta on his birthday because he loves them just as much as I do. She delivers right on time to almost anywhere!! I have them delivered every year to his job. Thank you for a job well done. Super bummed that I cant get them here in Cincinnati because no cupcake here has ever tasted as good. read more

Purchase of product- Bailey's Irish Wiskey, Lemon Drop Martini and Red Berry Ciroc. 1 dozen, 3 flavors. Read the fine print if ordering from Groupon or any merchant. Especially delivery options and dates. Pros: Accurate delivery, beautiful design, soft and moist pastry product, great presentation great taste, quick email reaponse feedback. Cons: Icing too sweet, icing kind of taste store bought, the Baileys flavor had too much of the alcohol taste in them which make it unpleasant. The whole transaction was handled online via email, no contact person to speak to directly. No stores/shops available to view products, health code scores, bakers and employees. Makes it uneasy for me to buy a food product if I can not physically show up and check it out before hand (if there is a store available, it was not to my knowledge). These are my opinions only, I don't like pastrys that are overly sweet. The cupcakes we're good but the icing didnt sell me. I'd buy again I the future for another special occassion just to try different flavors. read more

OMG, I should've read the reviews prior to doing business with this lady. I can't believe some of things I'm seeing. Honestly, stay away from Debra Coleman. She is a crook. She had an offer to give clothes in exchange for cupcakes. I gave her a box full of items, most of which were brand name. She even received a couple of new pieces. We traded emails back and forth where I told her that I would let her know when I wanted the cupcakes. She was okay with that. When I tried to finally get my cupcakes, she said the offer expired. It wasn't like I gave her the clothes the same day I received the cupcakes. That wasn't even in the initial offer. I actually thought I was responsible for the communication breakdown but after reading the other yelp reviews against my own experience, I'm convinced that she calculates how she's going to scam you, then she makes her move. If I saw the yelp reviews prior to doing business with this lady, I would've never dealt with her. Lesson learned. read more

The cupcakes were amazing; however the customer service was seriously lacking. The owner delivered my cupcakes and communicated effectively and in a timely manner via email; however, this was not always practical for me the customer. The delivery was free, but I received no call stating that she was on her way only an email and when she arrived she said she knocked on the door but no one answered so she was going to leave my cupcakes on the front door step!!! I guess it was a good thing I was home. read more

I must say I was so excited to order the alcohol infused cupcakes from this company. I wanted them for a social gathering I had, I was sooooo disappointed with the quality of the cupcakes that I ordered as well as my guests. The batter was not mixed completely, some of my guest was down right disgusted. One half of the cupcakes were hard and the other half were mushy, this company should make sure that the product that they are putting out there is up to par. I will NEVER, once again NEVER order from this company again, you need to make sure that your cupcakes are MILLIONAIRE status before you call it that. The only thing that my guest and I enjoyed about the cupcakes was the icing, it is not worth paying $40 for poor quality cupcakes, the owner should be ashamed of herself for delivering such nasty so called alcohol infused cupcakes she needs to get a cupcake course from Cami Cakes; now that's a real cupcake!! If you ever want a good variety of cupcakes always order from Cami Cakes, they are the best out thus so far. read more

I purchased a deal through Plum District for 12.00 for 12 cupcakes. Emailed the order as requested. I was contacted via email that I was out of her delivery area and it would be 16.00 delivery or I could pick up at Turner Field. Then I was sent a Paypal invoice for 6.90 for tip and tax. At this point without even tasting these yet, I am paying 34.90 for 12 cupcakes. Plum District did not care and would not credit. Out 12,00 but hope this will help others before getting a "deal" read more

I purchased a half off depot coupon as well for the dozen alcohol infused cupcakes and needless to say I NEVER GOT THEM! First they have a disclaimer on the website about using the discount coupons that you have to order a month in advance and no changes. I did that and received confirmation. I asked for two dates in case one wasn't available and I just got a confirmation with no date. When I asked which one it was for I received a rude response saying "as stated before" when the date was never specified. I was then sent a Paypal invoice which told me I only had a few hours to pay the service fee or my order would be canceled. The week of my scheduled delivery I received another confirmation including delivery date and time but on the morning my cupcakes were to be delivered I got an emailing saying due to the amount of orders they have now received for the metro Atlanta area (I'm in the suburb) that they have rescheduled my delivery for the following day! I ordered them for someone's birthday which was that day and they were leaving to travel that night. When I told them this they just said sorry. They told me I could pick the cupcakes up if I come downtown after 5 only! After I told them repeatably that this wouldn't work and my date and time has been confirmed for a month all they said was sorry. I promptly told them I needed a full refund and they really didn't care and just told me to get it from Half Off Depot. This business was extremely rude and unprofessional. I will NEVER do business with them and encourage anyone else to do the same. read more

MY daughter gifted me with a dozen "adult" cupcakes for my birthday which I shared with friends at a dinner party. Everyone raved about how delicious they were! I don't usually like cakes/cupcakes as they can be dry but these were moist and flavor-full. I'd buy them again. read more

I've ordered from Millionaire Cupcakes 3 or 4 times over the last 9-10 months and I really enjoyed them each time. My favorites are the sea salted caramel and the tequila lime.(those I kept to myself because I really really like those:). I've also ordered the banana pudding for my husband who is now a big fan:). The service is great and I'm sure I'll order again in the future. Kudos Millionaire Cupcakes! read more

I had a half-off depot voucher for a dozen alcohol-infused cupcakes and despite initial delivery troubles (which were my fault - I'm in grad school weekday mornings and wasn't home when they attempted delivery), found the proprietors very accommodating and the cupcakes (two flavors - lemon drop and a yummy blue iced one whose flavor escapes me) delicious!!! read more

I won cupcakes from this location and they were delicious. I had 3 kinds, 2 alcoholic and 1 normal. B-52, chocolaty goodness with Kahlua, Grand Marnier, and Bailey's Irish Creme frosting, exactly as good as they sound. The other alcoholic ones were the Lemon drop cupcakes, with Lemon Citron vodka. I didn't really taste and alcohol in these but they were delicious, so who am I to complain? The last was (I think) butterscotch with some fruit inside, not sure what kind. The point is: also delicious. I ended up ordering another dozen of the B-52s for a Halloween party. I honestly couldn't say what the price range is compared to other similar stores because I have never gotten freshly made delivery cupcakes before, but these seem quite reasonable considering. I will definitely be buying from them again. read more

Debra was so easy to work with and she showed up promptly for delivery. She also responded to emails timely. In addition to be timely her cupcakes were sooo good. You could easily tell they were fresh and made from scratch. The Caribbean Dream with rum and coconut was our favorite!! read more

I purchased my cupcake coupon from Half Off Depot. When I first used the website to place my order on a Wednesday for a Saturday deliver, I got a response (within 24 hrs) advising me that they were 'booked' with orders for the upcoming weekend, which I was ok with. I was offered the following weekend which I accepted. I was notified prior to the cupcakes being delivered and she came when she said she would. The cupcakes were delivered and were really cute and presentable when she arrived. My only complaint is that you couldn't really taste the alcohol in the cupcake itself, and just a hint in the frosting (not that I was looking to get drunk or anything). I have no problem with ordering from Millionaire Cupcakes again. I'm wishing her success! Good luck! read more

$12 for $25 worth of non-alcoholic cupcakes - free delivery DEAL We used a Plum District deal to purchase an order of cupcakes for my daughter's first birthday in March. First of all they were ok in taste, but upon ordering we also were told it was an additional $5 charge for the frosting color to be pink (fine again even though this wasn't a crazy request IMO). We gladly paid prior to delivery to have these match her birthday party colors. I had them delivered to my husband's work in order to avoid yet another additional charge for outside the city. Unknown to my husband that we'd already paid in full for the cupcakes, additional taxes not included AND frosting color (love how husbands listen) the driver made him pay the additional $5 frosting color change yet again. All in all we ended up paying full price for a 'deal' on plain chocolate cupcakes. I emailed to let them know we'd accidentially overpayed the frosting fee, but of course no response was returned. Not worth the hassle. read more

Millionaire cupcakes were not only delicious but their customer service was superb and they were very accommodating!! Our group was only in town for a weekend to host a bachelorette party and Millionaire cupcakes fit us in!! The girls absolutely adored the cupcakes and they were gone in minutes!! I would definitely purchase again but because they are housed in Atlanta, its kinda difficult. The manager communicated instantly and was very informative. The payment option was a little different but I was able to figure/work it! read more

We got the cupcakes but they SUCK! I only wish we had read the reviews before purchasing the coupon on Half Off Depot. The reviews are very true. We were supposed to get the cupcakes on last week but she never showed. She doesn't ever answer the phone. Starting a business is hard but you do need help-you can't be the baker and the delivery person at the same time. Now about the cupcakes-they are below average size and taste like cornbread. They didn't taste like they had any alcohol in them at all. We placed an order for they Strawberry Daiquiri and the Lime Margarita cupcakes. The strawberry cupcakes were supposed to be strawberry based not vanilla. When called and asked she said that she uses vanilla cupcakes for the Strawberry Daiquiri when clearly it states on her website the opposite. What's the purpose of Strawberry Daiquiri with vanilla cake...Bottom line the cupcakes aren't moist at all and clearly aren't made from scratch. I will never try them again and wouldn't recommend them to anyone else. read more

Unfortunately, I only gave this review one star because zero stars wasn't an option! I had the exact same experience with my St. Patty's Day cupcakes as Kari F. I also ordered the cupcakes, had my order confirmed and had a party planned for the night they were to be delivered. I actually spoke with the owner around 8:30 that night when the cupcakes had not shown and was told very plainly that there were about 15 orders that she just didn't get to. She said it as if I was the crazy one for asking where my cupcakes were. She kept reassuring me the cupcakes were made and she could deliver them to me but it was going to be really late because she would have to drive all the way up to Alpharetta. When I said yes please bring them she continued to elaborate on how long it would take her and how late it would be, and basically took back her offer to deliver them herself. She offered to refund my delivery fee and told me to contact half off depot if I wanted the rest of my money back. She also said she could have them delivered the next day, but when I asked what time they would be here on Saturday she couldn't give me an idea because she uses a delivery service. So I had to change my plans again to wait around for her delivery person that was supposed to call me first thing that morning and tell me what time he would be here. That never happened, he showed up around 11 AM, and the cupcakes weren't even that good! The entire experience was completely unprofessional and ridiculous especially considering this is a new business trying to get started. read more
