I'm honestly so disappointed with the service I received.
I ordered flowers online for my girlfriend for Valentine's Day. Instead of saving £10, I actually chose to pay £10 more for the "hand-tied" Valentine's bouquet specifically because it included lilies -- her absolute favourite flowers. That was the whole reason I selected that particular (more expensive) option.
When the bouquet arrived, there were no lilies in it at all.
I called to query this and was told they had "matched the value" by including orchids instead. But that completely misses the point. I didn't choose the bouquet based on price alone -- I chose it because it clearly showed lilies in the product photo and description. There was nothing stated anywhere that they could just substitute the main flowers like that without notice.
To make matters worse, they offered for us to come down and return the £50+ bouquet and they would give us some stems of lilies instead?! Some of the things being said on the phone genuinely left me speechless -- I was so shocked I didn't even know how to respond.
I asked for at least a £10 refund, considering I paid extra for the bouquet with lilies in the photo. That was refused. Eventually, after going back and forth, we came to the agreement that they would deliver two stems of lilies.
When they arrived later that day, the lilies honestly looked worse than the ones we had sitting in a vase next to them from Asda. In fact, the lilies from Asda lasted longer than the entire bouquet I bought from this florist.
For the price paid and the occasion it was for, this was nowhere near the quality or service I expected. I won't be ordering from here again. read more
