I want to thank employee Clayton for going above and beyond to expediently find…read moredocuments/information for me from a very long time ago, so I could get a permanent trailer license plate issued. I was very stressed about it, and he was so kind and helpful. Originally, I bought my boat from the Colony Marine in Pontiac about 21 years ago. I remember being happy with my salesman at the time. Thus, I called there first asking for help. I was told abruptly and somewhat rudely to talk to the finance gal at the Colony Marine in Saint Clair Shores, and if that didn't work, he didn't know what I could do. I will likely buy another boat at some point, and I will be going to Clayton for sure. I highly recommend Clayton from the Colony Marine in Saint Clair Shores. Thank you!

Jason at Performance Marine Services went above and beyond!…read more I reached out to Jason with Performance Marine Services after the peanut panel on my 2002 Sea Ray Sundeck 240 stopped working. The panel controls several important systems, including the bilge, blower, depth finder, and lights. I also had a couple of switches on my rocker panel that needed to be replaced. Jason diagnosed the problem and was able to repair the existing peanut panel, saving me from having to purchase an entirely new panel. He also replaced the rocker switches that needed to be replaced. What really stood out to me, though, was how much he went above and beyond. While doing the repairs, Jason completely cleaned up and redid the wiring underneath the boat leading to the panels and switches, as well as the wiring to my speaker amp. He also optimized the amp and speaker wiring, and the speakers now sound MUCH louder than they did before. Everything is significantly cleaner, more organized, and professionally done. Jason clearly knows his way around boats. He's very knowledgeable with marine electrical work, but he also has a strong understanding of mechanical issues, which is a huge plus when you're dealing with an older boat. I couldn't be happier with the work Jason did. He didn't just fix the problem I called him about--he took the time to improve the overall setup and make sure everything was done right. I highly recommend Jason and Performance Marine Services to anyone looking for someone who is knowledgeable, thorough, and takes pride in their work. He truly went above and beyond!
