Love love love this place…read more My dog's body decided it was going to quit. Pancreatis, Polymysotosis, Diabetes It hasn't gone great, but their level of care and concern was ourstanding. My dog had to be admitted to a hospital due to how serious his health issues were. We were written a prescription for medication that would cost almost 600 a month. Dr. Hill researched and figured out a way to bring the cost down to 60 a month. Dr. Hill is always kind, patient, and considerate. She listens and helps to the best of her ability. I had to learn so much new information, and she was happy to go over something I missed. The vet techs and the front desk associates have always been polit and professional. I probably called them 5 + times a week with questions and concerns, and they always get back to me. These are good people who care about your pet.

I had an appointment at Mizzou oncology when I decided to get another opinion. Dr. Feagans gave a different diagnosis, prescribed meds for appetite stimulation and here we are 15 months later with a very healthy 13 year old boy! Whenever I look at him, I thank Dr. Feagans. Most recently I had to put our 15 year old beagle/whippet mix to sleep. Her old, arthritic body had worn out. It was so serene and comforting at Family Pet Hospital. Sadie and I were very well cared for by every member of the staff. It was so gentle and loving. Thank you Dr. Feagans and staff!

Thank You Ashley Lamb. Maynard wont set still for me when I touch is nails but for you it seams just fine. When ever he sees you guys he gets excited. Dr. King is a fantastic Dr. all around. I have talked to many people over the years that say thing like we have taken all our animals to see Dr. King for years now. Word of mouth is king for Dr. King. If you dont like your current Vet go here if you need a vet go here. Priceing I have nothing really to compare to. I will tell you I have never had to pay more than what I thought was necessary or never thought that was too much to pay for services or meds. Matter of fact their has been several time where I said " thats it thats all it cost". They do offer kennel services and I have used them several times great prining on that.

After trusting Barrett Station Veterinary Clinic and Dr. Wieland with our dog's care for eight…read moreyears, we were deeply disappointed by the complete lack of compassion shown during one of the hardest moments a pet owner can experience. When it came time to say goodbye to our beloved dog, we used Lap of Love based on the clinic's recommendation. Lap of Love notified the clinic of the arrangements, and when I called to confirm they had received the information, the response was simply, "Yeah, we have the info." There was no acknowledgment of our loss, no expression of sympathy, and no mention of our dog. Unfortunately, that same lack of compassion continued when we picked up our dog's ashes. The front desk staff recognized us when we walked in, disappeared to the back, returned with the ashes, handed them to us, and that was it. No condolences. No "I'm sorry for your loss." No card, note, or acknowledgment of the life of a pet who had been a patient there for eight years. We understand that veterinary medicine is a difficult profession and that staff members experience loss regularly. However, a few simple words of kindness can mean everything to grieving pet owners. The complete absence of empathy during this process was shocking and hurtful. What happened was not simply disappointing--it was callous. After eight years of entrusting this clinic with our dog's care, the complete lack of compassion shown to our family during her passing and afterward was unacceptable. We were treated as though our dog's life meant nothing and our grief was an inconvenience. Basic human decency costs nothing, yet no one could even offer a simple acknowledgment of our loss. For a veterinary clinic, where families trust you with beloved members of their household, that level of indifference is inexcusable. The way this situation was handled left us disgusted, heartbroken, and questioning whether anyone there truly cared about the animals they serve. Based on this experience, we cannot recommend this clinic.

Dr. Sullivan is an absolutely amazing vet. After a nightmare visit at another hospital, I decided…read moreto come here for a second opinion and the tests that my cat needed. My cat was at complete ease, despite crying constantly the day before when undergoing the same exam at the other hospital. Dr. Sullivan and her tech took the time to talk me through my options and guide me through a shared decision that was best for my cat and took into account what I wanted for her quality of life. She took the time to answer all of my questions so that I felt confident of the plan and was, quite literally, a shoulder to cry on. I've recently been to hospitals that feel like that are up charging you and really just trying to make the most money off of your pet's ailments and that was not the case here. Rather than have my cat undergo the full $1600 of tests that she felt initially were necessary, she worked with me to prioritize the tests (all during that same visit) and after initial findings, she talked me through whether we could spare my cat more invasive tests and how we should care for my cat moving forward. Thank you, Dr. Sullivan! You're the epitome of what a top quality vet is!

I tried to get my dogs EN purina prescription filled on Chewey rather than using the FoxCreek supply and they would not allow an "external" prescription, this also occured with hearttworm med. I have two dogs and after several incidents...they tried to tell me my puppy needed an additional round of shots she already had, and other service issues. When I told them I was going to write a bad review for their terrible service, they said I was threatening them and they took my dog off their serviced list. I told them there is no threat...I am going to write a bad review....isn't this still a free country??
