Tom and Gina at the Powell Paint Center in Clackamas just made my day!…read moreI visited the Clackamas store to get help color-matching my 8-year-old kitchen cabinet color. I brought a can of the old paint with me and Tom was able to tweak it to make it match the paint as it appears after all those years. He's a gifted colorist and very patient with customers. I also had the pleasure of working with Gina. She gave me wise advice about trying to match ceiling paint and finding alternative solutions. My painter told me about her knowledge and ability to color-match, but meeting her gave me a new perspective on solving problems. Thank you Tom and Gina! Your expertise saved me money and frustration.

One of the employees was helpful, but he tried to convince me that one coat of the Regal Select (a paint and primer in one) wouldn't be enough. Trusting my gut, I only purchased two gallons to paint our large master bedroom in one coat. This paint is spendy! In the end, I only used 1 1/4 gallon, the better quality Regal Select had great coverage and looks awesome. One coat was more than enough. Just keep in mind you won't need two coats if you're liberal in applying!

The knowledge, camaraderie, care, and efficiency among the people who work here makes it feel like a group of your friends who are all very into paint and just happen to hang out at this location- which is, despite being a paint store, spotless. I highly recommend planning your project with and grabbing your paint from Miller Paint in Gresham. .

I've gotta give Parker (assistant manager) a huge thumbs up. Customer service is always top notch…read moreyet more importantly the employees at this store understand paint - how to spray it, which choice is the best (yes there are a ton of choices) and how to avoid bad decisions. Parker can give excellent advice because he actually uses the products and understands what works and what doesn't. Every time I walk into the store I know I will find the best answer and the best products. I wish all of my vendors were this effective and easy to work with - it would make my renovation business so much more fun. Sherwin-Williams should make sure they keep Parker (give him a promotion) and use his approach as a standard for all employees.

I've been getting paint from them for my house on and off for years because I am possibly too obsessed with Farrow & Ball paints. It had been a few years since the last time I ordered from them and I called about getting some paint I forgot I had to special order. I'd already done the primer on my home office so it was just sitting there, cleared out and unusable. While there was a *chance* the color might be in before the weekend, it wasn't a given. FedEx delivered the paint after they closed on Friday but they got it to me anyway rather than making me wait until Monday to pick it up.
