Never in my life have I dealt with a more rude, unprofessional business owner who thinks it's no big deal to berate and steal from his customers! On 8/5/25 my AirPods were stolen at the miller hill car wash. The following day I stopped in to talk to the owner, Payton Sullivan, to explain the situation and that they were now pinging to a halfway house. He explained to me that stuff falls out and gets thrown away all the time, but quickly managed to call the employee responsible and asked him to bring the AirPods he "found" to his shift much later in the day. In having Payton bring up the video, a different employee than the one who brought them home could clearly be seen in frame tucking a white case in his pocket. Per Payton, the new guy on his 3rd shift took them and was the only one terminated, however he seemed very comfortable exchanging stolen goods with his new coworkers. Being that I couldn't wait around 3 hours to get my stolen AirPods back and would need to again drive an hour round trip out of my way to get them back, I very politely articulated that this was quite frustrating and asked if he could at least attempt to make it worth my time. I was sheepishly handed 2 vouchers and nothing nearing an apology was ever said, in fact Payton acted like I was getting one over on him or something. I had someone else pick up my AirPods and when I actually managed to get them a few days later they weren't even mine and were owned by someone named Karter! Must be a lot of stolen stuff to keep track of! When I called Payton to ask if he had my earbuds he said they must've gotten mixed up. I politely expressed my disappointment with this whole experience and that I would again have to drive an hour out of my way. Despite my initial attempt at keeping it civil and conversing like adults, Payton blew up and began to yell, cuss, and name call at me. He stated through expletives that I was lucky I was even getting them back, that he should throw them away because I'm "ungrateful", that he works 80 hours a week, I'm a loser, and so what I now have to waste multiple hours across multiple days because his business stole from me. At the end of his 5 minute tantrum, Payton told me to never come back and hung up the phone. I'm going to try to get them later today and hopefully he still has them and can control himself so I don't have to get police involved. He seems pretty active in the google review responses so can't wait to see the story he spins in response to me. Hopefully Karter gets his AirPods back and doesn't have to go through what I have! Payton Sullivan and Miller hill car wash, don't do good business, they don't treat their customers well, and don't even seem to clean cars well per their other terrible reviews. read more

Paid $42 for mgr special. Had to point out that 1 window was sprayed and never wiped. Another interior window, partly wiped. Windshield had major streaks. That was redone. Interior part of doors weren't done, had to be redone. Cupholders and shift gear stuff not touched, got that done. Drove away, and noticed the passenger door wasn't armor alled. Crap job. Never should have to point all these things out. They fixed it. But I shouldn't have to have complained or gone back. Waste of my time. read more

I chose to get my truck washed on a Sunday. It wasn't busy, so there was no excuse for the workers to be in a big hurry and do a sub par job. I purchased the Whole 9 Yards along with added cost for all floor mats to be cleaned. The inside doors were only wiped at the window level leaving the bottom of the doors untouched. The floor mats were cleaned but then they were walked on and not wiped back down. They had pulled my truck out of the bay to wipe it down, but pulled too closely to a snow/dirt pile. Consequently the worker stepped in the snow/dirt pile then walked all inside the back cab. The passenger seat was moved all the way forward but not returned to the original position. Very disappointed!!! I called and spoke to the manager but he was not sorry or sympathetic. With new car washes opening, you'd think this one would try hard to keep their customers. IF YOU CaRE DONT GO HERE!!!!! Took my 2020 Ford Explorer St to get washed and a hand wax. When I go to receive my my vehicle I noticed two things. 1: damage to my rim. Detailer walked the wash line and noticed a discrepancy on the track that could of been the culprit. 2: smudges outside on the body and the inside of the glass.. I Tried to use their rags to wipe off the product that they used but found that their rags were not only not taking off the smudges but in my opinion making it worse. Detailer explained that they do wash the rags in fact that all they do is put them in a dryer only.(not wash then) He then told me to call the owner tomorrow to find a resolution. Went home spend better part of 1 1/2hr going through and correcting the issues. Also the step stool that they are forced to use is for a kitchen not a commercial facility.( it was rusted and broken) felt bad for the workers. What made me MAKE this review was when i called the owner he said he stood behind his product and process and told me that their will be no partial or full refund... The staff is doing what they can but this owner is truly a child on how he conducts or even retain business. read more

Just so bad. Asked for a thorough interior cleaning and paid over $40. They didn't touch the back seat, the back doors, the cupholders or the area by the emergency brake. They may have simply washed the rubber mats and put them back without vacuuming anything at all. I won a card with five washes, so I figured I would give this place a chance and since it's really the only place in town that will do closer to a "full service" wash, I figured it would be great! Unfortunately, each time that I have used this wash I have had to go home and re-clean the windows, console and dashboard. It's like they quickly wipe it once with a dirty towel leaving lint and streaks all over. I was hoping to have found a great spot to keep my car looking as good as new, but instead I'm back to doing it myself. I came to get my car washed and the interior cleaned. I don't expect a lot but thing the crumbs and dust should be wiped up. I have had good experiences in the past but the last 2 times the quality is awful. I pay $24 for the service and usually tip $5-10 but never again. I can have the exterior washed and I can clean the interior for much less. Lesson learned. read more

After having a great experience with the location on London Rd, my wife booked an appointment with this location for a detail and wash. When she booked, she was told that it wouldn't take very long, and her appointment was at 10. We showed up at 10, and the woman at the register took our keys. We asked how long it would be, and she said that since they closed at 6, it would be done by 6, and she would call us. I'm unsure why exactly we even made an appointment if a simple detail job was going to potentially take all day - we may as well have just dropped it off whenever! She seemed annoyed that we even asked. This is our only vehicle, and I had a crucial presentation to give that afternoon, so we should have been told if it was going to take 8 hours to get our car cleaned so I could have stayed home. They took the car back right away, so we walked over to the mall for a bit. I called around 11:30, and asked if they had a more accurate estimate of when they'd be finished now since it looks like they had started with it already. The same woman was on the phone, and she asked and said that it might be done by 3...so, five hours after we dropped it off for a detail that likely would take 30 minutes. Again, she seemed mad that I had called to ask, even though I wasn't rude. I had to pay to take a Lyft home, on top of the $130 I already had to pay for the clean, because we were not told that it would somehow take 5+ hours to clean the car. I would understand if we had stopped in without an appointment? But we made sure to book an appointment, and to do it early in the day so that I didn't have to worry about missing my presentation. The clean looks nice, but I can promise we will not be returning to this location. The utter lack of understanding and empathy from the staff was really off-putting. read more

Brought our Toyota RAV4 in on May 9th for a full interior detail after one of our children vomited in the car. After picking up the car and driving a couple of blocks, the airbag and seatbelt light came on. We returned to the car wash and they said it might be due to the seats getting wet, and if it was still on the next day to return and they would try and clear the code. We returned the next day, they attempted to clear the code but it didn't work so they told us to take our car to the dealership. The dealership discovered that the seat occupancy sensor for the front passenger side had been damaged (this side was not impacted by the vomit). It's not typically a part that fails, so they didn't have any in stock to replace right away. My husband had to call Miller Hill Car Wash several times anytime he wanted to get in touch with the owner. When he was finally able to meet the owner in person, he said, "oh, you're that guy." Seems to me if you have a customer with a problem this significant (or any problem at all for that matter), you should make sure to know and address that customer by name, as opposed to addressing him as "that guy." After getting the part replaced and being shown that it was damaged, we were essentially told there was no proof that they caused the damage so they weren't going to do anything about it. We realize the damage was not intentional, but the fact is that it was fine when we dropped the car off and broken when we picked it up. Parts and labor came to a little over $750 in addition to the $200 spent on the detail. ***Be aware that if you bring your car to Miller Hill Car Wash and they damage it, they will take zero responsibility and you will be stuck with the bill*** read more

My parents always stop here for a car wash when they are in town. Personally, I'm not sure if this is something that is worth the price. First of all, the kids doing the inside of the car, don't really care. To them it is just a job, so they miss a bunch of spots. I just think, that if you are going to pay about $15.00 for a car wash, it should be done correctly. The outsides get washed by a big machine, so they always look pretty, but the insides...someone ought to teach those kids how to clean! read more

I still have dirt on my side pannels not to mention new dirt on my dashboard in the form of scratches; almost gave me a heart attack until I realized it was, in fact, more dirt. I was really disgusted when I looked at the lousy job that was done. $21.00 + and I have to do the job all over myself! And why are the reviews from others that did not like the job not shown! As others have said...the outside was great. The inside was another thing! It looks like they used dirty rags to wipe down the seats...and they weren't wrung out so the dirty water dripped down the sides of the seats and as they swished the rags around...it splashed onto the doors... when I called to complain...I was told that I could bring it in and they would "look" at it, NEVER WILL I RETURN TO THIS PLACE!!! I decided to try this car wash to save time doing it myself. The cashier inside was rude, talking to a friend in front of the counter not acknowledging me or the 3-4 others behind me who have lined up to pay. I finally stepped between them handing over my ticket and I never got a word spoken to me as she was busy talking to her friend. Then I get my car back & the inside was not done very well. The people had missed several spots on the doors & an area of my back seat. The outside was fine but that's because it went through an automatic wash. I'm considering going back to let them know how I feel but this needed to be said for everyone to beware. read more

Save your money! I paid $20 plus for the full service and to much disappointment my car looked terrible! The window were smeared the tires not cleaned the back end was full of dirt and my chrome had a film on it. I had mats cleaned and those came nice but they failed to vacuum around all the edges of the car. My dash had 3 wipes with a dirty rag and it was obvious because of all the dust that was missed. None of the interior doors or seats were wiped down. Not to mention the smell of sweat left behind. I turned around and complained to the gal at the desk. She called for the Manager? Tim? who came out to look at my car and he completely argued with me saying they don't clean the inside only the dash and windows. If I wanted more I would have to have detailing. I have been in customer service and I know to keep people happy the customer is always right. I remember back in the day when that carwash first opened they did a great job.
