I am currently on month 4/7 of Accutane with Forefront Dermatology (Vienna) and have had a positive…read moreexperience so far. The staff are helpful and responsive. I also appreciate how quickly they get me in and out the office every time. They work efficiently and respect their patients' time. The only downside to doing Accutane through this office is that they don't have a phlebotomist on site, so you have to go to Labcorp once a month (who are not efficient or respectful of patients' time). My previous dermatologist did bloodwork in house. If you are considering starting Accutane, you should take this into consideration as two different office visits makes the process even more of a pain than it already is. But that inconvenience is worth it for me considering how great the Forefront team is. Overall, I am very satisfied.

If you are escaping your family and want an excuse for 2 hours of alone time then yes, this is great! If your time is coveted and you have a full time job/responsibilities then literally avoid this place at all costs. I have been a patient here or a couple years and I have finally realized they will never change and its time to find a new practice. Update after response from business: I have emailed Niccole, sent in two forms for feedback and still nothing in response.

I've been coming to this clinic for about two months now, and I only have positive things to say!…read more I had a horrible break out a few months ago, and the products my old dermatologist not only didn't help me, but left me with dry, even more acne prone skin!! I was mortified! But lo and behold, I found this clinic that must have been sent from the heavens, because after being tossed around from doctor to doctor, they're the only ones who have been able to clear my skin! One of the things to keep in mind is that because this clinic is mostly for cosmetic procedures, they do not accept insurance. I must admit, I was a little bit skeptical when they said they don't accept insurance, but I'm so glad I gave them a try or else I would've missed this gem. Every penny I paid had been worth it. I was assessed by Dr. Hayre (the dermatologist), and she prescribed me some topicals as well as an oral medication. She also recommended I do isolaz once a week, which I have been doing regularly. Ratana does my isolaz treatments each week, and she is fantastic! I always look forward to the appointments with her, she's so fun to talk to and is super gentle with the treatment and the extractions (which usually hurt so bad!!). I also have to thank them for being so accommodating toward me. My job is very hectic and sometimes I end up having to stay longer than expected, which makes it hard for me to make it to appointments on time sometimes. Every time this has happened the front desk has been nothing but patient and work hard to make sure that I can make it. They're amazing! Bottom line: if you want amazing skin, COME HERE!

But Id already made an appt., or so i'd thought. Was offered appointment on Wed. morning - pay $125 for consult, of which only $50 can go for a skin product or procedure; told maybe a procedure could even be done same day. Okay! ready for that with some questions. Showed up early to fill out paperwork and pay, credit card in hand, & had emailed them ahead (now they are claiming they notified me ahead of time that doc. was not in on Weds., but then then their internet was down yeah) only to be told doc. is never in on Wednesdays. Well, then why was i offered that appt. on Wed. morning? Total BS. Receptionist is having is conversation in back room in Spanish. Receptionist looks a lot like the on-line photo of the doc. Just say'n. Total BS. Something fishy going on. Hay, I'm in a business where clients are "no shows", so I totally get it, but do you really think I am confident in these people sticking needles into my face?

I saw Dr. Nims back in 2019 before moving (military spouse) and she gave me great advice that I…read moreused to keep up with my own mole checks through the next few years and derms. When I moved back in late 2023 I went back to her and got the same great care, very thorough explanations, and never felt rushed while asking questions/expressing concerns. I have a family history of melanoma so visits for me are quite regular. I've had 2 biopsies here and 1 removal. Compared to the other places I've had biopsies/removals I'd say they're on par. HOWEVER I did have a poor experience with a newer nurse(? I'm not sure of their titles) where he told me VERY wrong biopsy wound care instructions. I argued it for a minute but he assured me I was wrong, and so I just let it go for the moment. After finishing up I got in my car and on my phone and confirmed with both the AAD *and* the office's own website that I was right, so I went back and asked to speak to someone. I explained, they apologized profusely and said he'd be getting more training, and that was the end of it. I do hope no one else had to deal with that. In terms of surgery and follow ups, I like them! Sometimes it takes more than average local anesthesia for me and they definitely listened instead of dismissing me. When my dad went he had no complaints and when his surgery site ended up infected they were quick to get antibiotics to him (both oral and topical). For my own wound care follow up it was always quick and to the point but I still was able to ask questions if I had them. I do wish the front desk was a bit better about scheduling and what they say to each other though. I always feel like there's confusion when scheduling, and I'm never quite sure if I'll get a confirmation or any kind of automated reminder of an appointment. Plus it always seems hit or miss if I'm going to get an answer on the phone (example: I've called twice today during business hours and it just rings until it hangs up on me. no 'we're closed for the upcoming holiday in 3 days', no 'leave a message', just hangs up). I've also caught them talking about "how sad" a patient's situation was. When I heard it I wasn't the only one in the lobby but I was sitting furthest away, so I just walked up and asked a question to get them off the subject all together. Small ask, I do wish they had a more up to date website. It isn't well done and feels at least a decade old. From the looks of their back office they're still updating from paper files to electronic too. But not a complaint, I've never had any kind of issues with them and billing/Tricare! Though their invoice system does take quite a while to give me a detailed invoice (weeks??) which is tough for my FSA. So overall, a good clinic with good doctors/surgeons! Kind of rough everywhere else though.

Waited 25 minutes past appointment time even though I arrived early. I was scheduled with a PA to remove a mole and melia. The PA was courteous. She examined the mole and reassured me it did not show signs of concern. She then recommended that I see a plastic surgeon for the mole removal. For the melia, she explained the procedure and informed me of the potential side effects. Given the information I was provided, I took her recommendation to see a plastic surgeon. I paid $80. Unaware at this time how much insurance will pay or if I'll receive a follow-up bill. Ridiculous that doctors still charge when no service is provided. I reached out to friends, who previously had a mole or melia removed, for their plastic surgeon recommendations. They all came back saying their dermatologist removed their melia or mole, and they didn't see a plastic surgeon. I reached out to my friend, who is a retired internist. He thought a dermatologist should've been able to handle this. I could go to a second dermatologist but annoyed that I'll need to take time off of work again. I understand that I don't present with an exciting case, but I shouldn't have to hop around for a mole and melia removal. And I really find it distasteful that I was still charged and insurance billed even though no service was provided.

She did two biopsies because she seen the obvious! My scalp needs help! I haven't received the results yet, but I'm so happy Dr. Bembry is doing her due diligence to get to the root of the problem and she actually believed me and wants to help!
