Mark and the Flower Shoppe are absolutely amazing. This review is for our wedding last October…read more I'm from Dayton but planned our wedding from California. As we were planning from a distance, we had to meet with vendors on quick trips back to town. Not only does Mark have a fantastic reputation (I can't believe there are only 3 reviews here), but he has a great approach to meeting with potential clients. Everyone else we met with (standard wedding floral vendors for Dayton/Oakwood/Kettering area) first asked our budget and then told us what they could do- often saying they could do additional "special things" but that this would take us over budget. Mark, on the other hand, took time to listen to what we wanted and then built out a recommendation- sketching out types of arrangements, types of flowers (based on what I said I liked)- and built his plan out to tell us what the budget would be. I felt that for the creativity and service even during that initial conversation, the plan was spot on and the budget was reasonable. Not only that, but Mark was also more than happy to help us in ordering the linens and chairs for our reception to ensure that everything went together well and was taken care of the day of our wedding. The flowers and overall arrangements at the church and reception were GORGEOUS. We still get compliments on the flowers from guests over a year later. I would really recommend that anyone looking to host an event in Dayton with a need for flowers- professional event, weddings, etc- meet with Mark and his team. They are fantastic.

So, I picked out one from their site with dark purple and bright orange. They were able to do it the same day, which wasn't expected, and then called me when they were unable to deliver it due to my friend not being home. They reached out to my friend and arranged for delivery the first thing the next morning. My friend loved the arrangement and when she sent me a picture, it was EXACTLY what I ordered. They had great customer service and on top of that, were so kind. I absolutely, unconditionally recommend this florist.

She helped adapt well to weather changes at our venue the day of the wedding. We loved that she grew several kinds of flowers for our arrangements in her own graden. She was organized and very detailed with her delivery. We had many colors of bud vases and she had them all filled exactly as we wanted and easy to set up because of how well she was organized. We highly recommend Hollon Flowers! Everything looked so fabulous! She also came in way lower price than another florist we checked while also being super nice and easy to work with.
