I'm very disappointed with how this was handled. At my previous appointment, the doctor told me my…read moreprescription would be changed to 20 mg, but the updated prescription was never sent in. Now I'm being told I have to schedule a telehealth appointment and pay another copay just to get the dose change that was already discussed. I understand that medication changes may require a doctor visit, but if the change was already addressed during my last appointment, I don't think I should have to pay again because it wasn't completed properly. The communication and follow-through have been frustrating, and this could have been handled much better.

I had multiple appointments with Dr. Peter Schwartz. After an uneventful first visit, later…read moreappointments were frustrating due to poor communication and lack of preparation. Despite sending my medical records multiple times and being told they were in my file, Dr. Schwartz said he had none of them at my follow-up visit. He was rude and dismissive, did not acknowledge my wife, questioned why I was there despite it being a scheduled follow-up, and brushed off several out-of-range blood work results by saying, "Trust me, I am the doctor," rather than discussing possible causes. Each visit felt rushed, as if there was a strict time limit. When I calmly asked questions and tried to discuss specialist recommendations, he abruptly ended the appointment and asked me to leave, claiming he felt "threatened." Based on my experience and similar reviews from others, this practice appears focused on high-volume visits rather than patient-centered care. I would not recommend this doctor or practice.

However, I guess…read morethey believe it is all up to their discretion who you see and I was surprised to see it was his wife, the ARNP who entered my room. Second, I asked SEVERAL times about my copay to ensure that the visit was covered as my once annual healthy visit and the secretary assured me it would be billed as such, even with them telling me to return for a second visit "to go over lab results" and still assuring me that it would all fall under the one healthy visit....well, it did not...they billed me once as a new patient visit and second as a healthy visit. They billed my insurance for things like a "depression questionnaire" which there was no indication to give it to me except to bill my insurance. I tried the number on bill to question, the phone number was not active. I called the office and left a message...no one returned my call. I am paying the bill but I will not be returning to the office. Lastly, speaking with the ARNP, she said I only needed to come back annually. however the rx called in had no refills and the pharmacy was unable to get them to respond to their refill requests.
