All of the staff are compassionate and there are several related specialties, imaging, and labs all under one roof. We've never waited more than 10-15 minutes and the doctors are very willing to get additional expertise from others in the practice. At one point there were 5 doctors in the room as they collaborated to determine the best course of action and treatment. This stands in stark contrast to our experience at a practice in Syracuse where we only saw the doctor twice in almost 2 years, and got bounced between 6 different PAs during the other visits. We're so impressed that with the UR Psoriasis Center that we plan to switch to this practice and make the 1.5 hour commute each way to get the best treatment possible.

They checked the one spot and booked another appointment for a full check, which was all I expected. I called them this time and they couldn't see me til December. I called around and no one had an opening til December or later. Then I called Barrington Park. I mentioned it was a spot I was concerned about. She looked at her books and fit me in 2 days later. Then the nurse asked me to put on the gown and I told her I was only there for the one spot. She asked me if I preferred to only have it checked or if I wanted a full exam. I had no idea they would be able to fit me into their schedule but I am very appreciative that they did. I saw Dr. Mikailov. He was thorough, polite and told me I had good intuition when I explained my concerns. It is so nice to be respected by a Dr and a medical office. I have found my new Dermatologist.
