Botox Fail: Dermatology Associates of Rochester was excellent- until they weren't…read more Although I had a great experience for a couple years receiving Botox here, things quickly went downhill once they botched my crows feet which affected my smile, caused uneven eyes and slightly uneven cheek and more wrinkles on one side because of, and their words, "over compensation." This is a well known and common occurrence if crows feet Botox is improperly injected too deep and/or injected in the wrong muscle resulting in loss of proper lip placement, function and in my case cheek function as well. Also, when I talked it looked like I had a stroke. Suddenly they acted as if they had no previous knowledge of improper Botox placement, the effects of improper placement or muscle anatomy of the face. Every time I mentioned it they only replied, "that's so weird." They would not even offer me a refund, despite admitting that my face was messed up, uneven and the right side of my face was overcompensating (uneven cheek/eye) because the left side of my face/mouth was off and I could not lift/open the left side of my mouth the way I normally can. This effected not only my physical appearance and speech, but also resulted in strain/tightness in my jaw; my whole side felt and still feels off. All they ever said was, "that's so weird." Although it's not so weird, they just did not want to admit to their medical malpractice. I wouldn't even be here reviewing if they just admitted they messed up. When I called about this and scheduled a follow up, I was told the head doctor would be there to sit in on my appointment and evaluate me, though when I arrived no doctor came to my appointment, only the injector. Even with the most qualified injectors, there are risks. I am very dissatisfied with how they handled this and how they avoided taking responsibility.

I've been to see Dr. Goldgeir twice. The first time it went fine. (pre-covid) But the second time,…read moreit wasn't so good. Dr. Goldgeir seemed to me to be so overly scared of covid that he was incapacitated. I went to him with a specific concern about a spot on my nose. He did a strange exam that did not include looking at my face or scalp which are the spots the he focused on last time. Last time he even looked in my mouth. This time, he didnt even ask me to remove my mask. While I was on the table and not able to see what he was doing, he grabbed one of my hands and squirted some hand sanitizer into it and the squirt bottle squirted out past my hands and got the gown I was wearing wet, too. He had no right or reason to do so. SO he left the room without looking at the spot on my nose. I had to ask for him to come back in and I held a hand held mirror up so I could point to the spot I am concerned about ( a spot that still has not resolved and now I am seeking a new DR. btw) He came back in and quickly looked at the spot and then used a tool to burn it away and left again. When he left I looked in the mirror again and the spot was still there. He had burned a different spot. I asked again and the girl went and asked him and he said the spot I am concerned about is just a clogged pore. But it isnt. It is still there and it has been6 months. It looks like a small scar but I never had an injury there so I know it isn't a scar. It just appeared there one day last summer. I think its a shame he acted this way. He could be a great Dr. but he sure wasnt great for me. A mind is a terrible thing to waste. I hope he gets back to himself soon. Or just retire bc seeing patients this way is wrong.

Just what I needed. I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. As a result. I cannot get any injections, chemical peels, or anything that is not hydrating or natural, while in chemo. Which was a devastating blow to my confidence. I assumed that meant, I would look 10 years older, in a year. Also the chemo is making my face break out. Talk about a huge whammy! Mallory did a wonderful hydrating facial, with Papaya enzymes and lipids. My skin feels and looks amazing! This is now part of my regular rotation. Nothing zaps collagen from your face than chemo. I plan on living through this and fighting hard. But whether I end up in a coffin or continuing to live my best life. I still want to feel pretty. I have a membership through this business and it has been so worth it. Today my service was free. Just because they wanted me to feel pampered. Not only was it a sweet gesture, but smart business. Because now I've tried a new treatment, that I plan on doing on a regular basis. I have not had any injections in about 9 months. I put a picture of myself, so you can see how amazing they keep looking. Without any toxins, chemicals, or injections. This pic was taken after my treatment. No make up, filter free. I'm 55 years old. Still feeling confident, with breast cancer.
