Showed up exactly on time today with a call ahead and got the job done quickly, too. Though usually a one-man job, two showed up to to do it as they had two jobs close by. Both guys were friendly and polite and obviously knew what they were doing! I was happy to see that the inspection sticker and the EZ Pass transponder were attached to the new windshield as well with no problem. Totally smooth operation! Call theses guys, not SafeLite! SafeLite is owned by an insurance company which is buying up all the small local shops--once they've got 'em all, you know where that goes, right?

I had the absolute worst experience with Safelite when replacing my windshield. On February 28, I…read morehad my windshield replaced through them since it was partially covered by my insurance. At first, everything seemed fine, but less than two weeks later, on February 12, I noticed a long crack spreading across the glass while driving--without hearing any impact whatsoever. Since the replacement came with a "lifetime warranty," I went back to the Safelite location expecting them to honor it. Instead, I was met with excuses and denial. The technician pointed out a barely visible impact mark and used that as an excuse to void the warranty. When I asked what kind of glass they used, I was shocked to find out it was an aftermarket Pilkington windshield--a flimsy, subpar replacement compared to the original manufacturer's glass. Let's get this straight: I've been driving my car for years without any windshield issues. Then, less than two weeks after getting a replacement from Safelite, it suddenly cracks, and they refuse to stand by their so-called "lifetime warranty." What kind of scam is this? Bottom line: Safelite uses cheap materials, offers worthless warranties, and refuses to stand by their work. If you want to waste your money and deal with frustration, go ahead and use them. Otherwise, stay far away!

I chose this shop based on price and reviews. Before scheduling, I emphasized that I wanted all…read moreglass tinted with Xpel prime XR plus and I was told "yes." When I arrived, I again reviewed what we had discussed over text, specifically "all glass," and Xpel prime XR plus. I was reassured and confirmed. When I picked up the car, I paid more than the agreed quote but when they brought it out, I saw that only part of the glass was tinted. Instead of honoring the agreement, they offered to add two smaller pieces as a workaround, but I had made it clear from the start that I wanted one-piece tint. They could not deliver what was originally promised, despite multiple confirmations. I asked for a refund, I was denied and forced to reschedule for a later date to fix their mistake. To make things worse, when I got home, I tested the tint with a meter and discovered they did not use Xpel Prime XR plus film as agreed. If Xpel ceramics was used the IRR should show close to around 97% but Instead shows a much lower quality, they bait-and-switched me with a cheaper non ceramic film to maximize their profit. Also the more I look at the windows the more imperfections and bad cuts I find. This was misleading, unprofessional, and dishonest.
