The Dr. decided to do a biopsy on a mole that had changed. What a shock when the results came back as malignant melanoma. She referred us to Dr. Lee at Texas Oncology in The Woodlands. The person making the appointments was so understanding and as it was the week between Christmas and New Years it was just hard to see anyone. She got us in at the first week of January which was great. Dr. Lee came into the room, she still had on scrubs and the hair wrap they wear in surgery, she was so nice and reassuring. She talked to my wife and made her feel secure and that she would get the best treatment. She said my wife needs a PET scan, we can get that at our local hospital in Kingwood. She said after she sees the results she will know more and we will have a game plan for treatment. Can't say enough about her and the staff, they have all been wonderful.

They always answer the phone within business hours and make sure that you concern is addressed (I know seems like the bare minimum but a lot of offices miss them mark). 3. Short wait times in the office and no time wasted checking out. 4. Dr. Michalak is always willing to answer my questions with a clear and thorough explanation, yet isn't afraid to tell me if he doesn't know. 5. The nurse that has been there for the past year or so is good at taking blood (you won't get stabbed 4 times as they try to find a vein) 6. Prices are reasonable and they will call your insurance so you don't have to deal with it separately. L
