Before I rant on let me begin by saying that women nurse staff were very nice and this does not reflect my feeling towards them* Ok so he had us waiting over 35 mins just to be placed from the main wait room to wait another 15 mins inside the office wait room. Finally when he came in and we explain the circumstances that brought us in, this cad of a man look in my grandmother's face and told her that he didn't want to deal with her case because 1 she was only going to be here 6-8 months and he doesn't what to waste his "TIME" building a rapport with someone who is going to leave, and 2 because he doesn't "like to deal with Moffitt patients." He said that he has his own cancer team and that is all he deals with. How a 2 hr drive isn't too long and how Moffitt is full of specialist and to find someone there to help her. So she's suppose see them for her asthma and other stuff be serious its a cancer institute and they are limited to what they can and can not do. She had wheezing and her blood pressure was elevated prior to him coming in and he didn't care, he stood up and open the door and said have a good day and proceeded to practically kick us out his office. The thing that killed me is I'm trying to keep my composure because I don't want to stress my grandmother, because she is stressed enough and we just say ok and leave. When we get in the car my grandmother starts crying. I try to console her by telling her it's better to know now what a disgusting POS he is then get treated poorly later. The worst part was she was low on asthma meds and she had to wait 30 days to change primary care doctor even after we told the insurance what happen. I had to give her my asthma meds since we use about the same stuff just so we could have her covered to deal with all the information and stress of what is going to happen moving forward with her breast cancer. Sometimes I wonder if it pays to be sweet and polite, because my Grandmother is 74 and so sweet and gets treated like ... and you see these people who act foolish and get more respect is that what it takes to be respected. He is an educated medically professional who should have some code to uphold to care for those in need and it isn't like he's doing it for free.

It takes several calls to the billing department, where messages are left with no response, calls to the office manager, and months before the refund is finally initiated. Our experience has been 2-6 months to get the refund even though the insurance has settled the claim. Frustration has set in, therefore this is the first time I have ever left any negative review. Wish the office would take action to restore my faith in this business.

My surgical nurse Mandi was such a great, great lady! She llaughed when she handed me the ever so lovely pull ups! Best part she was even able to talk me off the ledge, I was truly wigging out! My Dr. Moynihan was great, I even got his autograph ( on my knee).Anthony after surgery was amazing with post op care. Had me up and moving in no time and helped explain my care when home to my Hubble and myself, which I don't remember most of it. That would be a great reason so have your person there to get it. Home now with care from a very over protective Hubble. Guess I will enjoy that part for awhile!

I recently survived a car wreck but my spinal column was injured. A Specialist Doctor here reviewed…read moremy MRI raw data, somewhat described my injuries to me, suggested an intense course of steroids to reduce inflammation, to be followed up with Physical Therapy and Chiropractic. The doctor also prescribed a muscle relaxer, but they do not write ANY prescriptions for pain medication. They only refer patients to a Pain Management Clinic. It's a Florida thing. Paying out-of-pocket, the office visit was only $120. I thought that was very reasonable - until I discovered it's for 15 minutes of the doctor's time. He couldn't interview me about my signs and symptoms, review my MRI, and discuss treatment options with me in 15 minutes! After waiting 3 weeks for this appointment, I would have gladly paid $240 to get 30 minutes of the doctor's time. You better make sure your medical records and MRI's get here before your appointment, and then talk fast! We never got to discuss my specific Physical Therapy needs at all, but they did give me the business cards for 3 PT clinics. And I will be receiving some prescriptions to reduce inflammation in my spine. I am rating 5-stars because WCMI certainly knows what they are doing, but visits are somewhat rushed and overlapping. Be prepared and you should be okay. -------------------------------------------------- Updates: #1. The steroid treatment they gave me has been a Godsend. That's why they get 5-stars. They are good doctors and caring doctors. #2. I spoke with the Administrator and we agreed to disagree. He doesn't want any patients to feel rushed, but they do schedule 15 minute appointments. That is standard for most doctors in the US.
