However, we are about to list our home so we wanted to take care of it. We called Paul and he was able to come out quickly and give us an on-the-spot estimate. His price was honest and fair. He even came by to verify he had the correct color before he started. He was able to make it out the next week and got all the work done in one day. He did one complete wall, living room ceiling, kitchen ceiling and a bedroom ceiling. Paul had an assistant for part of the day. They worked very clean and picked up after themselves. Everything was covered with a drop cloth. After they left I noticed a very very small spot that I didn't want to touch up myself, so the next day he came by and was out the door in 20 minutes and had it fixed. He was exactly what we were looking for and we got exactly what we needed; someone that was honest, quick, high-quality and without drama. I would definitely trust him with any painting project. Highly recommended!

There was never a time that I didn't know exactly where we were in the project and always knew exactly the costs so there were no surprises. Dan and Aaron are two of the hardest working people I have met and I truly appreciate their incredible work ethic. The subcontractors that they work with are also amazing- through the whole remodeling process I felt heard and everyone did their best to provide what I was asking for. After 2 days the blemishes were still as visible as they ever were and paint was dripped on baseboards, wallpaper and slopped onto adjoining room walls. Monkeys would have done a better job. The owner acknowledged the issues and fixed them himself. Howver, it seemed like he would fix one issue with the walls and then create another. After 2 weeks I paid him and said everything was fine just to get him out. Today I opened a remaining can of paint to do some touch ups myself and a.) He left a roller in the paint can and b.) He line itemed everything we requested and answered everything we asked. The price was very reasonable. Communication from him and the office for scheduling was great and responsive. They used an easy online system explaining the work and contract. Painters started just a couple weeks after we signed. It took several days to paint 6 rooms with a big basement including ceilings, trim, doors, and walls - it was a big job. They did minor patching with sand to match the original texture. Everything looks great, and I'm a discerning customer. No nickel and diming over small things. The workers were on time everyday and left by the work hours we requested (8am-5pm.) They were super friendly and happily addressed any small concerns we brought up. They explained the plan for the next day before they left so we could plan for locking up our cats. The team was quiet, polite, and never complained. Everything was cleaned up and put back together when they finished. We couldn't be happier and highly recommend them if you value a good team and ownership that stand behind their estimates and quality of work. The pictures show some of the work. The corner of the ceiling was damaged with big gaps between the walls. Not any more!

He was professional and personable, and I felt good about hiring him. Months later, his crew arrived seemingly unaware of the scope of the damage. They initially used materials riddled with large knots and cracks, had to redo the work, and when finished it looked great. I was satisfied. One year later, the siding is pulling away from the house and splitting. The work has failed. I have called, texted, left multiple voicemails, and sent Andrew photos of the damage -- always politely, never once raising my voice or making demands. Every message has been ignored. This is from a company whose website promises "satisfaction guaranteed." What disappoints me most isn't even the siding. It's this: a business owner who is warm and responsive when he wants your money, and then simply vanishes when something goes wrong. Andrew has the video of our original walkthrough. He knows what was agreed to. A simple phone call is all it would have taken to begin making this right. They say you never truly know a contractor until something goes wrong. Now I know. I'd encourage anyone considering this company to think carefully -- because the guarantee on his website is meaningless, and when you need him most, he won't pick up the phone.

Thoroughly 5 cans of paint he wanted $2,750.00 This totally for this small room came out to be $10,172.99 and Jeremy Phillips at Strong Arm remodeling and construction, pun intended strong armed me for $2,086.50. I gave Jeremy half the money to start the job and when I called him the day before regarding my receipt and to question him about my contract he started asking me about a job that my husband did on the garage that I originally got a bid for him on which had absolutely nothing to do with my laundry room. However, with us being health care professionals we weren't home to have the job done on the garage anyway. We were both deployed for work. As with this guy, he never follownoed up and now he wants to tell me this is why he is charging me a restocking fee on a contract I never signed regarding my garage. Nevertheless, as for the work on my laundry room, that will be a DIY project too because business owners like Jeremy Phillips sheds a negative light amongst many businesses especially independents. Also, he treated me like I didn't have options and then he had the nerves to say several time he was trying to help us out while trying to over charge us. There is really something to be said about business owners that see the customer as wrong regardless of the of the third rate treatment they bestow upon the customer. I would highly recommend using a company other than Strong Arm for any home improvement or construction needs as per my terrible experience with such a lackluster and inconsiderate professionals if they can even be called such.
