I was given a consultation before my massage so the therapist would know what areas needed the most attention. Just by looking at me she could tell I had a lot of knots in my shoulders (the result of a horrible massage the week before). The massage was very relaxing. The masseuse made sure I was comfortable. So I got it on Sunday at 9 am. I got there 5 minutes before, and my massause just arrived on time (they open at 9). The massage was really relaxing and my massause Kesha also really friendly and she did good job. I had low back problem and neck stiffed, and I went home with less pain. Today I had my first visit with the doctor for an evaluation and also a therapy session with her. This doctor and her techniques are amazing. I have been an excruciating pain for almost a year now and I walked out of her office feeling completely new again! I was drawn to her when reading her reviews online but when meeting her and her staff this morning they were so friendly and personable and professional it only made my experience better. if you are in pain or have been to an orthopedic doctor or any Doctor who is not been able to determine why you are having pain I highly recommend trying this office, because I too have the same issue with not being able to get a diagnosis on my pain. I went to Dr. Elgendy today to see if I could get an adjustment because I have Spondylolisthesis (A spinal disorder in which one vertebra (spinal bone) slips onto the vertebra below it. This causes pain in lower back or legs) and I've been ok for about a year but I work on my feet and it flares up sometimes, she was very thorough and pointed out that my feet are pretty flat and I might need Orthopedic inserts and that she could possibly get them for me and told me to look at the brochure and that I could get back to her if I wanted to about it, which didn't make me feel pressured about it at all, she tried to adjust me but my back is very stiff so she suggested I get a deep tissue massage and some ultra sound therapy to help loosen it up, she also gave me a list of stretches to do daily for the next week, I can't wait to get a massage next week! Glad she takes my insurance (Blue Shield) I'm hoping the orthotics work and the massage helps! read more

In early Spring of this year I had seen another chiropractor that really messed up my back to the point that I couldn't bend over, sit in a chair or car for very long without feeling horrible pain. I had been to the Dr.s and was just prescribed pain killers and muscle relaxers that just covered up the problem. X-rays showed that my spine was almost completely straight and lacking an arch. With the help of the wonderful Dr. Elgendy and her massage therapists I am able to do those things again I couldn't do. Everyone was really nice enough, but the setting wasn't as professional as I would have liked. There were some $200 shoe insoles that the doctor was trying to sell me on and that hasn't been something I've experienced at any other chiropractic office. My main problem was that while I was laying down, with my gown open on my back, the doctor heard someone in the front reception area that she knew and told me she needed to go out there and say hello. I could tell just by listening that she swung and left the door wide open without trying to be discreet about my privacy at all. Even later that day I asked my friend that came with me if my back was on display and visible from where she was sitting and the answer was yes. It just made me uncomfortable, I don't think I'm alone in this. The whole experience just left a bad taste in my mouth, I definitely would prefer a more professional environment. read more

So I have to say that Dr. Elgendy and her team totally completely helped me change my situation. To let you know a little background, I had injured my back about 6 months prior to seeing the team at Millennium. I had gone back and forth for months with my primary care and physical therapists and basically got the run around. They heavily medicated me and sent me on my way. Finally the pain had gotten so bad, I had to get an MRI. When I finally called for the results after a week, since my primary care never called me, they said there was nothing wrong with my back and it was just sciatic pain and to just keep with the therapist and renewed my prescription and sent me on my way. But I knew something was very wrong. I couldn't sit down, I couldn't lay down. I was in constant pain. So my husband found Millennium through Yelp and set an appt. Immediately Dr. Elgendy asked for my MRI results. Well, there was something wrong, I had a pretty hefty herniated disc in my lower back. Dr. Elgendy completely caught what my primary care did not!!! She got me in the office as much as possible and started treatment. She also got me on the Foot Levelers Orthotics which helped my hip to get back in place and get off that sciatic. So needless to say, I am now pain free, I walk taller, I'm able to sit, lay down, work, do yoga and live life!! They completely helped me and I highly recommend them!!!!
