Also, thank you for working as a team for things we didn't ask for but would benefit our quality of life such as the thermostat re-adjusting, and re-adjusting a closet door that was backwards, and anything else that may've been missed in this written paragraph. Not everyone would make the extra efforts you did to truly give a finish, fresh look and feel as opposed to something that might've been left hanging or unnoticed after the fact. Time, details, and communication are all important to consider. Sometimes, it's not just the big things, but it is also the little things that make you stand out. Sometimes, from the client end, we don't always know whether something is a small thing or even making a determination if it is or not.

I messaged him almost a week later and he said, " he had a plumbing emergency ". Ok, you could have called and said, sorry, an emergency came up, can I get back to you when my emergency gets straightened out. He didn't even have the decency to let me know he wouldn't be coming, I had to message him I had another contractor do my job but just wanted to let people know in case they were thinking of using him. Maybe my job was too small for him but just say so. I personally would not recommend this guy.

While working at my house, John took calls on speakerphone from at least THREE different homeowners who were angry with him over not showing up as scheduled, not receiving materials they paid for, and leaving their homes unfinished / unlivable. He did the same to me as well and won't even return calls. - John uses unskilled day laborers to do electrical and carpentry work instead of trained tradesmen or journeymen. Big shock...nothing he touched works! - Waste material from demolition is left behind unless you repeatedly press him to remove it. - He asks for money despite not hitting normal progress points in a job. I paid thousands for work not yet done. - At best, he shows up for 60% of the expected days/hours, until he's in over his head and can't fix the problems he creates. Then, he ghosts you and makes up excuses.
