I just can't say enough good things about this company. First, I went with a different contractor…read moreto take care of some issues in my house. They completely screwed me over. They made matters worse, and threatened to take me to court, even though they nearly burned my house down. When I first tried to get Brendan out to my house a few months ago, he said there were some personal things going on, and he couldn't come out. I understood, but after seeing the other reviews, I really wanted him. I had other contractors come out, and they wouldn't touch any of the work that the previous contractor screwed up, which I understood, but wasn't happy about. Desperate, I called Brendan multiple times and turned out he was in the hospital! I explained my situation to him, and begged him to come out. Long story short, not only did he come out and fix the problem, he didn't even charge me a penny. I could tell he felt bad about not being able to help originally, even though it wasn't his problem. I ended up feeling bad because months ago I guess he was having health issues and couldn't work. Nonetheless, I wholeheartedly put 100% trust in this guy. He knows his stuff inside and out, and goes WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND! His reviews show it as well. You don't find people like him anymore, everyone is out to screw each other, but not this guy. He will take care of you and you can rest assured that you will be in good hands. I don't normally leave reviews, but I am just blown away by him. And he's not too bad to look at either, which is another perk .

Brendan initially came out and did a nice job on fixing a faucet in my first floor bathroom. I…read morethen had him take a look at a recliner that I needed to have fixed. He said it needed a new motor, which he asked me to pay for up front ($185), which I did. The motor was delayed, which is not uncommon these days. I stopped hearing back from Brendan about a month ago, which was probably 6 weeks after the motor was ordered. I'm left to assume that he just took the $185 that I gave him and moved on. I'm preparing to send Brendan a demand letter, prior to my taking him to small claims court. It's a real shame. I have additional small jobs to do around the house, and was hoping Brendan could be my Handyman going forward. Now I just want my money back.

We just had the pleasure of meeting Brock, of Professionality Painting. We recently purchased a…read morehome and were in need of a good painter. Brock was recommended to us, and we are so glad we chose him to do the job! From the first face to face meeting for the estimate to the day of the work being done, with numerous texts in between, Brock was always very personable and easy to talk with. We hired him and his team to do some full room painting and 2 large areas to cut in for us. We were feeling very overwhelmed with all the other work we had to do in a short time frame, and Brock clearly saw that, because when I came back a couple hours later to bring more things to the new house....not only did he do the areas we hired him to do, but he also went above and way beyond...and fully painted the areas we had asked him to only cut in for us. Wow! What an amazing surprise and a huge relief for my fiancé too, as the list he had to get things done at the house was long...and this unexpected act of kindness from Brock and his helper Jay....made us both emotional. You just do not come across many professionals anymore, who would do more then they were hired to do. They did a great job, and the house looks fantastic! I would highly recommend Professionality Painters to anyone looking for quality work......and quality customer service. We will surely use them again when the time comes for more painting to be done.

Here's why you should not use this company: 1- He…read moreovercharges. I paid $650 for staining the deck and Sharp Stream Power and Washing quoted $500. I'd already given the job to Gifford so I honored it. I should have known that if he were available immediately, it was a bad sign. 2- Not trustworthy. I contracted him for the job remotely and he said that he has 40+ years of experience and would be on-site. He said that he runs his own business and to trust him. The interior painter who also runs her own business and WAS on site said that he dropped off 2 guys in his truck and drove off. 3- Didn't finish the job. When I went up the day before listing the property, I noticed 1- his guys didn't paint behind the stairs. 2- There was a piece of lattice that had fallen off, gotten muddy and his guys JUST PAINTED OVER THE MUD and left it on the ground. His response was "It was like that before we started as well. We stained it propped up" Really? His guys don't think they should prep a sruface before painting it and just hammer one lattice in? I had someone I trusted there doing other work so I paid that guy $100 to correct these things and repaint the bench and deck finials which also didn't look great. I sent pictures to Gifford asking him for reimbursement (not even $100 but what he thought was fair). He didn't respond. 4-Unprofessional. Before he started the work, he mistakenly sent me a text meant for his buddy about "Coatesville women" - you can read between the lines. I should have known then.
