Do not hire!!! Here's what I got for hiring John Keevill to do a kitchen remodel: - Big promises and grand stories that are never fulfilled. While working at my house, John took calls on speakerphone from at least THREE different homeowners who were angry with him over not showing up as scheduled, not receiving materials they paid for, and leaving their homes unfinished / unlivable. He did the same to me as well and won't even return calls. - John uses unskilled day laborers to do electrical and carpentry work instead of trained tradesmen or journeymen. Big shock...nothing he touched works! - Waste material from demolition is left behind unless you repeatedly press him to remove it. - He asks for money despite not hitting normal progress points in a job. I paid thousands for work not yet done. - At best, he shows up for 60% of the expected days/hours, until he's in over his head and can't fix the problems he creates. I paid this guy $7000.00 to put new skirting and insulation on my house and this is what I got!!! When my pipes froze up he told me to go use a hair dryer on them! Whenever I would call him I got the same old story, "I have a couple guys out sick ". Apparently they were sick for a whole month. When one kid showed up after New Years I told him to just leave because I've been screwed over enough by this guy. I've not heard a thing out of him. I think he owes me the $7000.00 and more since my heater had been running almost constantly till I hired someone else. THIS GUY IS NOTHING BUT A RIP OFF ! John was hired to remodel our kitchen. Signed contract and gave him 50% of project cost as down payment. Workers showed up sporadically throughout project. We questioned if they were working on other projects and they confirmed John schedules multiple jobs at same time which is opposite of what John told us at contract signing. Most of the work was finally completed and payments made to John. It's been a year and he still has yet to come back to finish job. Reached out to him for dates to come back. He schedules appointment and workers don't show. No call from John they aren't coming. Last no-show appointment I find out he was in Europe for a trip and wouldn't be coming home for two weeks. Still have not heard from him about completing work he's been paid for. Be forewarned if you hire him. read more

John Keevil and his team are thoroughly professional. Provided an estimate for a number of small jobs (plus the big one - installing my Tesla charger). Their workmanship is second to none! Fantastic knowledge and capability. Whenever they came upon a minor roadblock, they took the time to work around it thoroughly, safely, professionally, not cutting any corners, and not padding the bill with overtime. We LOVE working with Keevill Construction. We have had them out three times for various challenging electrical jobs. Each time they knocked it out of the park. Mr. Keevill was the only electrician I called that called me back and he thought it was an emergency so he arranged to come immediately. He fixed my basements lights (only half were working) in minutes so we asked him if he could help us with our video doorbell. He had an apprentice with him and they set it up, no problem!
