I was asked multiple times to send documents, which I promptly did, yet I never received any confirmation or follow-up. I was originally supposed to close on November 15th the date was push to November 21st. Two days before the 21st, I emailed Stacey asking if we were still on track to close. She told me no, they were still looking for an investor, but they were sure they would find one soon. She kept insisting everything would come together by the end of the month. I was even told to hold off on paying my mortgage and credit cards because the refinance was "definitely happening". Then everything collapsed. "Sorry Barbara, we still couldn't find an investor". Because of their incompetence, I an now out over $500 for an appraisal and facing late fees on my credit cards. I was repeatedly told that my high credit score would work in my favor, yet that clearly meant nothing. And here's the kicker: my interest rate was supposed to be a little over 5%, but suddenly it jumped to over 6% without a clear explanation. The loan terms kept changing, and nothing was consistent or transparent. And just when I though it couldn't get more insulting, Stacey ended the entire ordeal by emailing "I'm sorry, I will be praying for you" Thanks for the patronizing remark after putting me through weeks of stress and financial loss.
